If you needed any more evidence as to why Kevin Stefanski deserves a pink slip, it was on full display on Sunday. The big news last week was that Kevin was giving up play calling so that he could focus his expertise on the whole team. With two weeks to prepare for the worst team in the NFL, a team decimated by trades to two of their best players just days before the matchup, Kevin's efforts across the whole team yielded two return touchdowns on special teams, an offense that gave up six sacks, a quarterback who was throwing balls into the dirt, and to no one, a defense that gave up a critical first down on a run play in the final series, and not to mention the infamous neutral zone infraction on the most rudimentary and anticipated hard count of all time. You lost to a team that barely qualified. And as an NFL team and a quarterback who threw for 54 yards, that's what you get. When Kevin Stefanski gets more involved, things get exponentially worse. Have Browns fans not been punished enough? How long do we have to endure? How long do you let this continue, Jimmy? We'll break it all down for you next on the Burning River Sports campus on my way to murder someone. [00:02:28] Speaker A: Come on now. [00:02:29] Speaker C: What the hell was that? [00:02:31] Speaker D: Punt return. Then we let up a freaking kickoff return and then we jump off sides when they're freaking about to punt. Terrible, terrible, terrible. [00:02:39] Speaker B: It's literal insanity to keep rolling out the same group of people making the same poor decisions over and over and over again. [00:02:46] Speaker A: At this point I would love some meddling. Please metal, please metal. [00:02:50] Speaker B: That's the dumbest thing anything anyone's ever said, but here we are. [00:02:57] Speaker A: Brown's ass. [00:02:58] Speaker E: It's not the Green Time Show. It is my favorite show. [00:03:02] Speaker B: In the 1950s his family owned a small meat wholesaler called the Meat Hole. Good news is for you guys, there are some women that still prefer small peens. [00:03:13] Speaker A: Yeah, that's good news for me. [00:03:14] Speaker E: Just one coke can. [00:03:15] Speaker B: Just one co Are you envisioning being penetrated by a man with a giant dong? Welcome into the Burning River Sportscast presented by the fine folks at Tap In Media. I'm Kenny Thunder. My partner today got the short end of the genetic straw. Serious? His mom's hot, his sisters are hot, and even his brother is tall and handsome. But someone struck him with an ugly stick on his way out. He's red hot. Ronnie Jams. [00:03:43] Speaker A: Appreciate it. [00:03:44] Speaker B: Seriously, man, what happened there? I feel bad that your wife has to look at you every day. [00:03:48] Speaker A: Thank you. Just never ends on the board. [00:03:51] Speaker B: Today they do their laundry on his abs, but mostly because he's too frugal for a washing machine. He's cheaper than two for one lappers the Diamond Royale. He's the big bone man. Bone. [00:04:03] Speaker A: Oh boy. [00:04:04] Speaker B: I know you're an amateur movie buff. Yes, the movie Forrest Gump. Did you happen to catch the password to his email when he checked his stock portfolio? Bubba Gump Shrimp 1, Forest 1. [00:04:20] Speaker A: Nice. Brief more messages from Macho fan and Brownster Not Division Roundup and King of the north with John Hughes. An interview with another brownsbackers chapter this week, the North Royalton Brownsbackers and of course the Week 11 preview for the game against the kind of like a game. It's probably not going to be a game, but the game against the Ravens. Guys, let's just go ahead and get on with it. Let's start talking about how the Browns are As useless as the ue. UE in Q. But before we do that, let's get things started by giving everybody the break of a news story of the week. Antonio Brown was arrested this past week when his flight returned to the United States. From. From where? [00:05:50] Speaker F: Where was he? [00:05:51] Speaker A: I don't. It doesn't matter here. When his flight returned six months after allegedly trying to shoot a man at a Miami boxing event, which now makes Tom Brady the only quarterback to throw touchdowns to two alleged murderers. [00:06:09] Speaker B: Suspects. [00:06:10] Speaker A: Suspects alleged attempted murder. Whatever. Is this the final, like, you know, everybody saw it. Like, it's been going downhill for a long time for Antonio Brown. Is this the final, final nail in the coffin? Like he's going to be in jail for a really long time. [00:06:25] Speaker B: I mean, I think he's facing second degree attempted murder charges. It's not good. [00:06:32] Speaker E: Self defense. Right? Is that his claimant? [00:06:34] Speaker B: Yes. He's saying that things got out of control and he was. He acted in self defense. [00:06:38] Speaker A: But did he shoot at him like six times or something? [00:06:41] Speaker B: Antonio Brown. So, yeah, I mean, look, there's, you know, we laugh, like tongue in cheek about Antonio Brown. There's a serious side to this, too, which is. Which. Which I don't think is being addressed here. We talk a lot about, like, that's a guy that probably has cte. They probably should do actual studies on this guy's brain to see what's going on in there. [00:07:02] Speaker A: I mean, he's like, I know CTE can't be diagnosed until you're gone because they have to go into your brain, but they should at least do some sort of. Some kind of like, give the dude. [00:07:11] Speaker B: A CAT scan, something. I mean, there's, there's got to be something going on in that brain that is abnormal. [00:07:16] Speaker A: Yeah. Like, I, I don't think he should argue self defense. He should just argue insanity because he's completely lost it. [00:07:23] Speaker B: Yeah, that'd be a better. [00:07:24] Speaker E: Last time he played, he pretty much just quit in the middle of the game. [00:07:30] Speaker B: Yeah, he had enough on my way to murder someone. [00:07:34] Speaker A: Come on now. I hope we don't get canceled for this, but, I mean, here's the deal. It's at this point, not the him trying to kill people, but just Antonio Brown in general is almost comical. Like, it's, it's crazy the amount of things that have just gone awry for this man since he left the Steelers. [00:07:52] Speaker B: Right. I can't even keep up with him. It feels like every six months there's a new story about Antonio Brown that I, I can't explain. I don't know whether he's trying to be a rapper or what. [00:08:00] Speaker A: Like I didn't think I would go here in this story, but this tells me how good of a coach Mike Tomlin is. Like you gotta think. He had Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell, just two complete head cases and got the absolute most out of both of those guys before they fell, before they completely went off the rails. [00:08:18] Speaker B: Yeah, that's true. [00:08:20] Speaker A: So yeah, I don't know. I didn't think that's where this was heading, but that's where I'm going. Mike Tomlin. [00:08:25] Speaker B: Bring Mike Tomlin to Cleveland. [00:08:26] Speaker A: Yeah, Absolutely. Fire him. And because you know, they're heading for right around 500 right now over there in Pittsburgh. So bring Mike Tomlin to Cleveland. I'm in. [00:08:34] Speaker B: AI is great. There was. There's a video floating around a Mike Tomlin in the locker room after they lost last night. Yeah, that's. He's like, guys, it sucks real bad that we lost today, but it means we're on our way to 98. [00:08:49] Speaker A: You gotta love AI. One more thing. Before we get to the Browns, let me remind everybody to call the burning sports guys. Don't forget to call and leave your hot takes on the hot take hotline. Kenny, we got some hot takes. [00:09:02] Speaker B: We got some hot takes. You ready to hear them? [00:09:04] Speaker A: Yeah. I want to hear them. [00:09:05] Speaker C: Here we. Okay. So where do we go from here, guys? Holy freak. What the hell was that? I, I, I can't help to believe that it is time to blow this thing up. Load up. Don't you. You don't and you don't need to. You. You don't need to blow it up to the point where man stoning Today we had 75 strong in including Matt and Karen from the London. From London, England with the British Bulldogs. Brown Stackers. They came in. They came across the pond to see a show at Red Rocks yesterday and show up today. I got some nice treats from the great folks over at the British Bulldogs grounds. Backers. How embarrassing was that? It was just beyond belief and it's time to blow it up to a certain standpoint. And when I say blow it up, blow up the damn coaching staff. It is inconsistent. It is horrible. Reef is horrible. Reef and semantic can go somewhere else. But by God we need football people in our organization and build this damn team from. From something that's not that far away. And if it means we gotta take a first round draft pick then so be it with the quarterback situation. But I came out to believe That a little bit of help on the offensive line would go a long way to make Dylan Gabriel or whoever might be back there a better individual as a quarterback. And then watch two freaking plays in a row of them, returning freaking touchdowns on a kickoff and a punt. Really? That is unacceptable. Oh, man, we'll rock next week at a mile high with The Cleveland Roch at 5280 Chapter the Year Celebration. We'll do our best. We got some great prizes. Ah, they just make it even tougher on us. [00:11:54] Speaker D: No, Faye just stinks, man. [00:11:57] Speaker A: Our boy Cliff's real dejected there. [00:11:59] Speaker B: That was a frustrated Cliff. [00:12:00] Speaker A: Yeah, I like how in the middle of that he basically quoted closing time. He's like, you don't have to go home, but you can't stay here. [00:12:06] Speaker B: You can't stay here. [00:12:07] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. And then he advocated for blowing up the coaching staff. Listen, I don't know if we should resort to bombs, but he backtracked a little. [00:12:17] Speaker B: He said blow it up, but don't blow it all the way up. Or blow it all the way up. I'm not sure. [00:12:22] Speaker A: Listen, I, yeah, I'm for it. Whatever it is that you're talking about there, Cliff, I'm in. And yeah, we can't get a read on the quarterbacks because all we get to see is Dylan Gabriel who's ass. And Shador Sanders should be playing, but. [00:12:38] Speaker B: He'S yelling Gabriel's ass. It's all we get to see each week. [00:12:42] Speaker A: I feel like that's what I'm watching. Yeah, I mean, Cliff, we're right there with you. If you, if you didn't catch our live show last night, we self, we, we admitted it was the worst show we've ever put on because we were just so apathetic about everything that's happened in Cleveland Browns right now. It was really hard to even come up with words to describe what we witnessed yesterday. That team, that jets team is a team that's actively trying to lose in. The Browns lost to them. [00:13:11] Speaker B: They aren't trying to win. [00:13:12] Speaker A: Like. [00:13:14] Speaker B: Yeah, I was just double clicking on what you just finished on there. Just struggling to find the words. It's funny listening to Cliff also. Just struggle. I mean, and Cliff's an eloquent guy. We talk to Cliff a lot. Never at a loss for words. No, but the frustration that we're all feeling, I just. No one has any words for what is going on because it's so damn tough to describe what you see each week in this team. That is just absolute, just futility at every Instance. And there's no. There's no progress. There's not. We're getting better. Even though Stefanski says every week we're gonna get better. I'm gonna coach better. We all got to do better. [00:14:00] Speaker A: It's on him. [00:14:01] Speaker B: At no point do we get any better. [00:14:03] Speaker A: And that's on him. [00:14:04] Speaker B: And that's on him. [00:14:06] Speaker A: Like, I wish somebody would take that quote from him and actually, you know, apply it and say, you. You say every week. This is on you. So at this point, like, there's no choice for us but to fire you. [00:14:17] Speaker B: Can we make a hat that says that and then send it to Berea? Send it to Luke Rosa Boulevard. [00:14:21] Speaker A: That's on me. [00:14:21] Speaker B: Care of Steph. [00:14:22] Speaker E: Kevin Stefanski make a montage of clips just however many times he said it. [00:14:26] Speaker A: I love this idea. Bone, you're our archives guy, so why don't you go back and whatever times, But I love this idea. [00:14:36] Speaker B: 36 times he's ever gonna get better, and we never have. [00:14:39] Speaker A: You think AI is powerful enough for me to just ask it to go? Pull every clip of Kevin Stefanski saying, that's on me. [00:14:44] Speaker B: Call Elon. Elon's got that Grockbot or whatever. [00:14:46] Speaker A: Grockbot. [00:14:47] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:14:47] Speaker A: Put this together for me. [00:14:50] Speaker B: Yeah, you got another one, Cliff, we love you. Keep drinking that 5,000, 280, you're gonna need a lot of. [00:14:54] Speaker A: Oh, you guys are doing great out there, by the way. Keep that up. And we're excited to hear how the. The celebration of chapter of the year goes next week. [00:15:01] Speaker B: Just need a lot of that beer brewed. [00:15:03] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:15:04] Speaker D: Hey, what's up, guys? Bobby from the Browns, backers from North Jersey. The Browns really know how to ruin a freaking weekend. What a great weekend we had. We had the backers bash Gary Barnage today. Great tailgate. Awesome tailgate. And then we got to go in there and watch that debacle. I. Stefanski, he. [00:15:29] Speaker B: He just. [00:15:30] Speaker D: He's just freaking. He's just too stubborn, man. He has to go. I don't even care if, you know, he plays Shador. He doesn't play Shador, but at least give the freaking guy a chance. But he's too stubborn to put him in. And I don't know. And then freaking Bubba Ventrone gotta go. Dude, that was atrocious. Atrocious special teams play. First of all, we. We let up a freaking punt return, then we let up a freaking kickoff return, and then we jump off sides when they're freaking about to punt. It's just freaking ridiculous. So that's It. I think everybody's got to go. Let's freaking restart. And I don't even. You know, I just want to get through this season right now. [00:16:16] Speaker A: That's it. [00:16:16] Speaker D: Signing off. [00:16:17] Speaker A: Have a great. [00:16:18] Speaker D: Have a great week, boys. [00:16:20] Speaker A: What was. What was the F bomb count on that one? Like, three. [00:16:23] Speaker B: Frustration. [00:16:24] Speaker A: I thought at the end we were gonna. I thought at the end we were gonna get a. Have a nice week, but we didn't. [00:16:29] Speaker B: The frustration is mounting. [00:16:31] Speaker A: Yeah. The crazy part to me is, is. And this isn't anything against Cliff or Bobby, just in general. Browns fans. How long have we been here, Kenny? [00:16:44] Speaker B: Yeah, look, I mean, we just talked to North Jersey a couple weeks ago, and they weren't quite on the Kevin Stefanski needs to go yet bandwagon. So it's amazing what two weeks can do. [00:16:54] Speaker A: Yeah, I mean, it's. And again, we've been here. I said it on Sunday. I finally went back and looked up, like, the first clip ever. And I believe it was the one where we said Mike Tomlin is greater than Kevin Stefanski. And it was four years ago that that happened. That's how long we've been on the get rid of Kevin Stefanski bandwagon. He doesn't really bring anything to the team. That. And it's finally here. The moment is finally here where everybody realizes that Kevin Stefanski doesn't do anything for anybody's football team ever. [00:17:23] Speaker E: It's amazing how long it took to get here. [00:17:25] Speaker B: Here's the problem, boys. We all now realize this. I mean, we've realized it for a long time. Everyone else has now realized this. I have zero faith that they're going to part ways with Kevin Stefanski at the end of the season. [00:17:37] Speaker A: You don't think they're even going to do it at the end of the year? Nope. [00:17:39] Speaker B: They're going to run this back at least one more time with Kevin Stefanski. [00:17:43] Speaker A: Listen, the only thing I'll say is if we run. If they announced that they're running this back with Kevin Stefanski, it's going to be a really entertaining off season from the Burning River Sportscast because we are going to shit all over this organization. [00:17:56] Speaker B: It's going to happen. Book it. [00:18:00] Speaker A: Yeah. I don't. [00:18:00] Speaker B: That's what this organization does. They. They celebrate futility. [00:18:05] Speaker A: Yeah. I mean, at this point, I can't argue that. Do we have any more. [00:18:09] Speaker B: Oh, we do. [00:18:10] Speaker A: Bobby, thanks for calling again. Keep them coming. We noticed you didn't have any of your crew with you. They were probably too fed up for it. Everybody was Detective we get it, we get it. But keep calling in. We appreciate it. [00:18:20] Speaker D: Hey, guys, it's Monocum from the Browns backers of North Jersey. How you guys doing? Oh, that game yesterday was tough. [00:18:27] Speaker E: That game. [00:18:28] Speaker D: That game was up. It's Monday morning when I'm calling. It's that game this week. It was terrible, terrible, terrible. The special teams, I'm not sure how special they are. I'm not sure how much of a team they are. It's like those old. That old coffee talk with Linda Richmond from back on Saturday Night Live where she gets off a clamp. Talk amongst yourselves. The Brown special team. Neither special nor a team discuss getting off a clump. Also, you know, why is. Why is Bubba Ventura still on the team? Why is he still coaching this team? I. I can understand reasons for not changing the head coach mid season. People agree with it. People disagree with it. But how do you not get rid of Bob Aventura after the special teams gave up to return touchdowns in a quarter? Forget in the game. It was a quarter. They couldn't hold their shit together for one quarter anyway. Also because it's become a little bit of a tradition of sticking up slash ragging on Angry Bobby. I gotta do that also, if that's okay. I don't know how many people who are gonna listen to this are familiar, but in New York, the, The. The. [00:19:53] Speaker A: The. [00:19:54] Speaker D: The sports radio station of record, the Fan 660 WFAN, used to have a caller probably about 20, 25 years ago, right? Her name was Doris from. Doris from Ringo park used to call up and. And she would literally just give like this. She would read the box score. So she'd be like, John Olarud went 2 for 4 with a double. Mike Piazza 0 for 3 with two strikeouts. I sometimes feel that that's what Bobby does when he calls the hotline. He just gives the stat and then he's like, I don't know. I don't have a hot take. Oh, do I have a. [00:20:33] Speaker E: And then. [00:20:33] Speaker A: And then. [00:20:34] Speaker D: And then, as you guys said last. Last time, he gives these hot takes and whatever. I'm just saying we got to be better. We all got to be better. But I'm not so sure how much longer us Brown fans deserve this garbage. If Bubby Ventrone is not. Is not out of here, out of Cleveland by the time this show actually airs, I don't know what in the world we're doing. I understand loyalty. I understand, you know, sticking with things for when you. When there's a purpose. But special teams this year has Sunk. Just get rid of them. Cut, cut your losses. It's time. He's a, he's a. He's a firecracker of a coach and stuff, but that firecracker's gone out. [00:21:20] Speaker A: Menachem, first of all, Menachem's always so polite and like up, like for the most part, upbeat. Like, even though he was. He said some depressing things there, he was so upbeat, beat about it. And I like how he said, I'm going to stick up for Bobby, if that's okay with you guys. [00:21:36] Speaker B: That might be my favorite hot take hotline call of the season so far because he said, I'm going to stick up for Bobby. [00:21:44] Speaker A: He's like, he just reads the box score and he's like, I don't know, I don't have a hot take. [00:21:48] Speaker E: He's like this old lady from 20 years ago. [00:21:51] Speaker A: Menachem is gold Minam. As much shitting on Bobby as I've done, you did it better than I could all season long and I don't even know that you meant to. That's the best part about it. [00:22:04] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. And just to go into some of the things that he said there, you know, Raven Trone awful. Very much deserves a pink slip as well. [00:22:15] Speaker E: Won't happen. [00:22:15] Speaker A: No stones, I think, you know, how. [00:22:17] Speaker B: Long has Bubba Ventrone been the special teams coordinator here? [00:22:20] Speaker A: This would be his second, second year. [00:22:22] Speaker B: Right. So I think a lot of people are up in arms and pissed off about the, you know, game Sunday and the two returns. Let's not forget special teams last year. What a trip. [00:22:33] Speaker A: Dustin Hopkins was the worst ever. [00:22:34] Speaker B: Dustin Hopkins melted before our very eyes when he went from being one of the best kickers in Brown's history. [00:22:40] Speaker A: He literally broke the scoring record. Like he was. He was one field goal or two field goals short of the all time scoring record for the Cleveland Browns. [00:22:47] Speaker B: I mean, whatever you did. [00:22:48] Speaker A: And that was Jim Brown's record, he broke the kicker's record. [00:22:51] Speaker B: Whatever you did, you broke that man. And then you couldn't put him back together to the point where he just can't kick anymore. So this isn't an isolated, like, hey, people are pissed off about this weekend. Like, yeah, this weekend was really bad. But it's not like the special teams have been great since Bubba Ventrone showed up. It's been a disaster. So it's a long past time that. [00:23:12] Speaker A: He needs to go, yeah, Bubba Ventrone is the worst, man. I don't know where that like narrative came about. Right before he came to the Browns that he Was this. This awesome special teams coach. [00:23:23] Speaker B: It's exactly what we were talking about before the show, which, which off air we were talking about Cleveland is. Is in this cocoon of like, gets it. Like we always loved like the Ohio State guy or the Akron guy, whether they're a coach or a player. [00:23:33] Speaker A: Bubba Ventrone used to play for the. [00:23:35] Speaker B: Because Bubba Ventrone was a special teams ace. I don't even know that he was an ace while he was here. He was a decent player on special teams, but people remember that he played here, and so he's a gets it guy and people want to believe that he's gonna be. He's gonna bring some kind of attitude to this special teams and he's just literally, again, there's been no. There's been no progress. [00:23:56] Speaker A: No translation as far as it's been 100 here in Cleveland regression. [00:24:00] Speaker B: The special teams have been completely ass since he showed up. [00:24:03] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. I mean, we said it on the show on Sunday and he's be fired. Like, he's terrible. [00:24:09] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:24:10] Speaker A: Not to mention. So you. You had all the problems with Dustin Hopkins last year. You had all the problems with Dustin Hopkins going into this year. Still couldn't figure him out. Yeah. And then whole off season, Andre Schmidt has done a better job since then. But, but don't forget, Andre Schmidt's missed like four kicks so far this season. [00:24:22] Speaker B: And he was a disaster to start the season. Yeah, Yeah. I mean, the special teams has just not been. Has not been good. [00:24:29] Speaker A: The only thing that Bubba Ventrone has done well is he probably had a hand. And we said, literally, get anybody but Dustin Hopkins at this point. And they did. They went and got Andre Schmidt. [00:24:41] Speaker B: They found anybody. But. Yeah, look, I think the common denominator across all three of those phone calls was I heard, like, blow it up. Stefanski's got to go. This organization, this administration has to go. All true. [00:24:54] Speaker A: I mean, everybody's ready. Everybody's ready to turn it over. [00:24:57] Speaker B: We gotta get. We gotta go. I mean, we can't. We can't keep doing this. It's literal insanity to keep rolling out this same group of people making the same poor decisions over and over and over again. And. And we just sit here and we're just supposed to accept it. [00:25:10] Speaker A: Yeah. And Menachem touched on it a little bit, but, like, we, we keep. We. He said that I can understand the reasons for keeping a coach through the end of the season. Like, at this point. What is the reason? What is it? What's the reason? [00:25:27] Speaker B: Well, I think that's what he was saying is that, like, if you're seeing things that lead you to believe there is actual growth here and that there is a pot of gold at the end of that. That rainbow, then you stick with it. Right. I get it. Patience is a virtue. And with. With everything in the NFL, guys, whether they're coaches, whether they're players, they're going to have hard times and rough stretches. This is not a. An aberration to what was otherwise good. This has been a pattern, a consistent pattern of failure for years now. [00:25:57] Speaker A: Yeah, absolutely. Men, thanks for the call. We appreciate it. [00:26:01] Speaker B: Great call. I love that he ripped Bobby. [00:26:04] Speaker A: Yeah. I always. I always stick up for Bobby's. Now I'm going to rip him. Appreciate that. But one more time. Is that all the hot takes. [00:26:12] Speaker B: That's everything for today. [00:26:13] Speaker A: Make sure you call the hot take hotline. We want more hot takes. This is a fun part of our show. We like to hear what you guys have to say. And it's the hot. The take should just be getting hotter as we go because hotter like Kevin. The longer that Kevin Stefanski is still here, the longer the. The. The hotter. The hotter they should get. And remember, we want hot takes. We want hot takes. We want hot takes. [00:26:33] Speaker B: We want hot takes. [00:26:33] Speaker A: We want them. [00:26:34] Speaker B: 330-2278-0813, 302-2780-813021-30223, 081-32-3881 call now. [00:26:43] Speaker A: We're not standing by. We'll put you on the air and we'll talk about your hot takes. Yeah, speaking of hot takes, it's time for dig it with the macho fan. No one said it was going to be easy. [00:26:59] Speaker B: Sometimes it might not even be fun. [00:27:01] Speaker A: But we're still sticking around. So now we got to play our division rivals, Baltimore Ravens. What a time to take on the Ravens. That's right. We're in the month. The month of carving up birds. That's right. And I think we'll be thankful for a victory this Sunday. That's right. So make no mistake by the lake by raking in a victory. We need a W. Bring on the W. Oh, yeah. Let's go. [00:27:33] Speaker C: Let's go. [00:27:39] Speaker A: Macho dude is so macho. [00:27:41] Speaker E: So macho. [00:27:42] Speaker B: Macho dude is the one. The one thing that gets me mildly excited each week for another Browns game. [00:27:49] Speaker A: I'm always like, he gets this excited when the Browns keep losing. Imagine if we start winning. Like, this guy is going to be off the wall, you know? [00:27:57] Speaker B: Yeah. We're never going to see that. [00:27:58] Speaker A: Yeah. But he's a die. [00:28:00] Speaker B: Not going to happen here. [00:28:01] Speaker A: Let's talk about another dog and I'm talking about the bringing the sportscast dog of the week. [00:28:08] Speaker B: You got to play tough people in the National Football League. You got to be ready and we got to be the dogs that we are every time we step on there on Sunday and be ready to attack and don't stop until we're in that locker room. [00:28:24] Speaker A: All right, we we leave it up to our listeners and followers to determine the Burning river sportscast dog of the week each week. [00:28:30] Speaker B: You're gonna get me canceled one of these days. I forget to edit that out. [00:28:35] Speaker A: Why do you say all right, so we leave on. We leave it up to our listeners and followers to determine the burning of a sportscast dog of the week each week. On our live show on Sunday night, each of us nominate a dog of the week candidate. From there, we turn it over to all of you on our socials to vote and make the final decision. This week's nominees, Kenny Bojo, Corey Bajorquez, Bone, J.J. jerry, Judy. And I nominated Carson. Carson. There now, after the fan vote that was conducted today on our socials, this week's burning of a sportscast dog of the week is car Sean Carson Schwezinger. You jumped the gun there. You always tell me I don't give you enough time for the drum roll. [00:29:23] Speaker B: I just wanted to say Carson, Carson. [00:29:26] Speaker A: Carson had 10 tackles, five solo, two tackles for Lost, two QB hits and. [00:29:30] Speaker B: A half set and the most impressive play I've ever seen a linebacker make when he bulleted through the offensive line to almost give the Browns the ball back at the end of the game. [00:29:39] Speaker A: The only thing that would have made that better is if he like Jadevian Clowney just took the ball and ran when he was at South Carolina and like just pop, just helmet pop on the running back and the ball went flying like that would be the only thing that would be better. But yeah, it was a fantastic play. It almost single handedly won him the game. But it didn't. We lost. So true. Congratulations. Congratulations. It's so hard to say all these words together with all these S's. [00:30:05] Speaker B: Christian Sch. [00:30:08] Speaker A: But, but good on you, Carson. I think that's his first one in his rookie season so it's surprising because. [00:30:13] Speaker B: He'S played lights out all year long. But well, well deserved. I mean it was a great game. [00:30:18] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:30:18] Speaker B: All for not. [00:30:20] Speaker A: Yep. And with that, let's get into some not so go. Let's get into the the Browns brief. [00:30:40] Speaker B: The show is. We're there. We reached the point of no return. The show's over. [00:30:45] Speaker A: All right? So first things first. Here. Mike, call. Junior still here. [00:30:49] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, baby. [00:30:50] Speaker A: That's, that's all I had for that one. Good use. Next up, someone rumored to return this year or in the off season, with all the woes we've had on the offensive line, is Jed Wills. [00:31:02] Speaker C: Great. [00:31:03] Speaker E: They're bringing him back. [00:31:04] Speaker A: Yep. We're so bad that they're talking about bringing Jed Wills back. [00:31:08] Speaker B: I mean, let's, let's put this into perspective a little bit, because Jed Wills just tapped out on the season. [00:31:14] Speaker A: He's just quit his. [00:31:16] Speaker B: He said, I don't feel great and I'm not going to play until I feel great. I don't know what NFL football player feel. I mean, once the season starts, everybody's dinged up. Everybody's got something. I mean, you don't get to just quit because you don't feel great. Like, that's. He walked away because he was, he. [00:31:36] Speaker E: Was tired of getting shit on, getting beat up. [00:31:40] Speaker A: Listen, at first when I heard this, I was like, there's, there's no way. Because, like, what team in their right mind would bring this guy back? [00:31:49] Speaker B: Yeah, I mean, and then I remembered. [00:31:50] Speaker A: Who our coaching staff is, who our front office is, like, all that. And I was like, this makes perfect sense. Of course we're bringing this guy. [00:31:55] Speaker B: I mean, of all the places you don't want a head case, left tackle or right tackle, I guess at this, at this point. [00:32:02] Speaker A: No, that's exactly where we want because we're the Cleveland Browns. Anyways, next up, Paul D. Podesta finally gone. That was a big news this past week. [00:32:13] Speaker B: Long time coming. [00:32:15] Speaker A: And so the Moneyball era in Cleveland officially comes to an end. And the overall record for Moneyball era in Cleveland, 56, 101. [00:32:25] Speaker B: Yeah, look, I would caution everyone a little bit here because I don't think Moneyball in and of itself is gone. The Moneyball guy is gone. The guy that we've been sitting questioning for the last decade as to what he does, why he's involved in the organization. I mean, the reports that have come out are frankly pretty scary when you think about all the things that he's touched in this organization, from players to in house personnel on the coaching staff to all the financial decisions and cap stuff. Like this guy was involved in everything and had no business being involved in anything. But I do think as his parting gift to the Cleveland Browns is he's built an analytics department here. Which whether he's here or not is going to continue in some fashion. And I know that this was a pound of flesh that we had all been after for a while, so we're all excited to see this guy go. But I also just again caution you that, like, this isn't going to change anything in real time. I said this on the Sunday night show, like, yeah, great that he's gone, but, like, this changes nothing for this season in particular. They're not going to do anything differently this year. So it's not like this makes a big difference to anything that's going on right now. It's. It's a, it's a part of the cancer that has been excised, which is good going forward, but the results aren't going to be anything you're going to see overnight. [00:33:46] Speaker A: No. Yeah. I mean, we all wanted him gone and he is gone. But I agree with you. I mean, he's too, he's ingrained himself too much in the overall DNA of this pro, this, this organization for it to just go away. And I will say this, you know, as I'm looking through things on social media and whatever about Deep Odesta, I thought this was real interesting. They, an archived press conference from when he first started with the Browns came up and somebody posted it and it was. They asked him, they're like, you know, do you, do you get a sense of what the feeling is around the league with you taking this job as the is, you know, with your philosophy and whatever else coming to Cleveland? He said, well, you know, after I was hired, it was like either the draft or whatever he was at right after he was hired. He said, I heard a bunch of front office guys from other teams, teams talking amongst each other and kind of snickering and, and making fun of the fact that we were bringing Moneyball to Cleveland. And he went on to talk about like, what his credentials were and whatever else, but I just, I thought it was funny because I was like, oh, well, fast forward however many years. Six years. [00:34:53] Speaker B: Still snickering. [00:34:54] Speaker A: They're all right. They've been laughing this entire time because you're 56. 101. So. [00:34:59] Speaker B: Yeah. And. And let's also not forget too, like, Jimmy could have made a statement here. [00:35:05] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:35:06] Speaker B: Didn't this guy voluntarily left? He may have seen the writing on the wall. I think that's, that's very possible. But Jimmy didn't get the chance to fire him. So this wasn't like a repudiation of analytics and Moneyball and like, hey guys, we Gotta go in a different direction. Which is what scares me about this whole thing, because the, The. The philosophy is not going away. If Jimmy had come out and strong armed this and said, guys, we got to change this. This isn't working. We got to change directions here. Paul and I have agreed to part ways. That's not what happened here. He said, I got a call, mlb. I'm going back to where I'm comfortable. See you guys. [00:35:42] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:35:42] Speaker B: To your point, Joy, the gift of. [00:35:43] Speaker A: Your point just a few minutes ago in this episode with Kevin Stefanski probably running this back and all that. I mean. Yeah, nobody's put any sort of indictment on. On the process of how we do things here. [00:35:59] Speaker B: So no one has even acknowledged that there's a problem. [00:36:01] Speaker A: Right, right. [00:36:02] Speaker B: And is that. [00:36:03] Speaker A: And they actually brought in, again, we talked about this off air. They brought in Paul D. Podesta this week to the game and said he's gonna sit in the owner's box. They're gonna. They're gonna chum it up and be friends and be like, yeah, it's a good time. While you were here. [00:36:14] Speaker B: One last meal. [00:36:14] Speaker A: Good job. Like, why? [00:36:16] Speaker B: Yeah, they finally got Paul D. Podesta in person for something. [00:36:19] Speaker A: Like, if me, if. If I was Jimmy, I would be like, you know, we really appreciate all his time, but this. This was coming anyway. So. Just. [00:36:28] Speaker B: Anything. [00:36:28] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:36:28] Speaker B: To acknowledge the fact that you are on the wrong track. That's almost the most frightening indictment of all of this, is that no one is acknowledging there's a problem. They're 2 and 7, and the only thing we keep hearing is we're going to do better. [00:36:42] Speaker A: Still waiting. [00:36:42] Speaker B: No one has said this is. This is what's broken. It's just we're really trying. We're really close. You are not close. [00:36:50] Speaker A: Here's a couple things we can hang our hats on. One, we tried real hard. And two, we're still dear. Bone, you seen him get better at all? [00:36:58] Speaker E: No, not for a while. [00:37:01] Speaker B: All right. [00:37:02] Speaker A: I was just curious if you saw something we didn't. It's got better eyes than me. [00:37:06] Speaker E: The only thing I think is it's kind of just like they're going to have to bring in new people to work for the Cleveland Browns. And maybe it is an optics thing. Jimmy's not this Neanderthal who's just firing, firing, firing, which we've seen over the last six years. [00:37:22] Speaker B: That's fair. [00:37:22] Speaker E: He's kind of calculated that as a thing for the Browns, where in the past it was one year and you're done One year you're done. One year and you're done. [00:37:30] Speaker A: Yeah, I don't know. That's fair. [00:37:32] Speaker B: And we've talked a lot about Jimmy pulling himself back from looking like he's involved in all of those decisions because of the meddling aspect of people critiquing his. His ownership of the Browns, which. I don't know. If I owned a professional franchise, I would probably medal. I own the thing at this point. [00:37:50] Speaker A: I would love some meddling. Please Metal. [00:37:53] Speaker B: Please Metal. Yeah, now is the time to medal. [00:37:56] Speaker A: The one time I want shit to happen, it's not fucking happening. So. But anyways, Shador Sanders still dealing with the back injury, and I just heard this come out. I don't know if this was common knowledge or what, but I missed it apparently. But apparently he broke his back when he played at Colorado. And I don't know if this. This talks to. Speaks to like. Like, is this why he dropped in the. In the. In the draft is, you know, was there still some lingering issues? I don't know what the deal was, but. And I. I'll be honest with you, I saw that a few places. I'm not even sure of the validity of that, but that's. The rumor is that he apparently broke his back while at Colorado and was still dealing with some lingering issues from that coming into the. The draft. So. [00:38:42] Speaker B: Yeah, I mean, this was. That was. [00:38:45] Speaker A: As far As I know, though. [00:38:46] Speaker B: 20. [00:38:47] Speaker A: Sanders still says he's good to go, so I don't really know why that would be an issue because I know. [00:38:52] Speaker B: That he missed the. Their final game in 23 because of a back. Back issue. I think he had some kind of fracture somewhere. But I mean, I'm hoping at this point that it's healed. I. I will agree. I mean, the. The back issue. [00:39:05] Speaker A: Oh, no, I'm not. I'm not. I guess it's hearing. Thinking about what I said, it sounded like I wasn't sure of the validity of the back issue. I wasn't sure of the validity of it causing any issues in the, like in the draft. Like that's why he fell or anything like that. So. [00:39:21] Speaker B: Yeah, I mean, I would find it hard to believe because of the season that he had in 2024. I mean, the guy completed like 75% of his passes for a whole season, so it clearly wasn't impacting his play that much. Now, these scouts were looking for reasons not to draft Shador Sanders because nobody wanted the media circus that came with it. But. But I will say that the back issues and what's it's just like everything else with the Browns, like, there's some kind of other story going on. Like, why do these things keep manifesting when you're not even running the scout team? Like, you're not even getting practice reps? How are you hurting your back? Like, what is going on? So is a part of that we have to read into it, like everything else with this organization, because everything is shrouded in mystery, which is one thing. [00:40:14] Speaker A: Would be clear one time. [00:40:15] Speaker B: Part of this, like, are Shadors people, Prime's people? Like, is this a calculated move to be like, hey, we don't really want you on the field while Stefanski is there because we don't have any faith that he's going to put you in a position to be successful. And if you fail out here now this year, that could be the end of your NFL career. If you can stretch it into next year and get into a camp battle, whether it's in Cleveland or whether Cleveland unloads you somewhere else, kind of elongated the window of opportunity here for you. So, like, now, I'm not saying, like, he's faking the injury, but, like, is that possible? Is that within the realm of possibility that it's. It's his handlers almost saying, like, hey, like, you know, let's get you into treatment because we don't really want you playing right now. Because let's be real. I mean, if Shador Sanders plays right now and doesn't play, let's say he plays the rest of the season for the Browns going forward and doesn't play well, his career is probably over. [00:41:07] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:41:07] Speaker B: I mean, who's. Who, who's going to. Who's going to pick him up and give him a chance to start? He might bounce around and get a chance to back up on a few teams, but if he. [00:41:14] Speaker A: If he plays like, on a backup with that much media presence, if he. [00:41:17] Speaker B: Plays like Dylan Gabriel has played for the last five weeks, he won't get another job in the NFL. [00:41:22] Speaker A: Yeah. Yep. And speaking of Shador here, when asked about Shador Sanders and when he will get to play Kevin Stefanski had this to say, and I quote, I don't think it's fair to speculate. Dylan's committed to improving and all our young players are working hard. [00:41:40] Speaker B: You know what is fair to speculate, Kevin, is all of those other players that are working hard and want to win don't have the opportunity to because you don't have the balls to make a decision. [00:41:50] Speaker A: You know, the funniest thing about this is to me is he literally just stated the obvious, like, if Dylan Gabriel's not committed to improving, you clearly wouldn't have him as your quarterback. If I don't think there's a single person that plays football that is not committed to improving. [00:42:07] Speaker B: That would be, that would be frightening too. I don't know. We're gonna keep playing Dylan, but he doesn't really seem into it. [00:42:12] Speaker A: He doesn't seem like he's committed to improving, but he's the best we've got. [00:42:15] Speaker E: He's trying hard, guys. [00:42:16] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. And then all our young players are working hard. Yeah, they're rookies in the NFL, you idiot. [00:42:23] Speaker B: I mean, especially on a 2 and 7 football team, everyone is playing for their jobs. [00:42:27] Speaker A: You know, it's, it's, it's just, it's times like this when Kevin says these things that I just, I really think to myself that Kevin Stefanski suffers from delusions of adequacy. [00:42:38] Speaker B: He thinks he's good. [00:42:39] Speaker A: He just. No, he thinks he's adequate and he's not. He's just straight ass. [00:42:44] Speaker B: You're not even, even. You're not even. You're not even mildly achieving. [00:42:48] Speaker A: No, he's nothing. [00:42:50] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:42:50] Speaker A: And speaking of the whole QB debacle, what are the Q, what are the Stefanski and or Andrew Barry defenders say about this team and why the regime deserves another season? Like do you guys know what they're the number one go to is? [00:43:06] Speaker B: Well, a lot of what I've heard is that the personnel isn't there to be good this year. [00:43:10] Speaker A: There's that one. The other one that gets thrown out there all the time is, well, we're clearly tanking for a qb, Right? [00:43:17] Speaker B: Right. So why would you draft. [00:43:18] Speaker A: If we're taking for a qb, why did you draft two quarterbacks? And if, if you're still telling me, well, we're still taking for a qb, then those same defenders that are saying this, that they're openly admitting that we completely wasted two draft picks on quarterbacks and pretty valuable draft picks because to me, anything above anything like fourth round and above, that's a pretty good draft pick. [00:43:40] Speaker B: Dylan Gabriel was a top hundred pick. [00:43:42] Speaker A: Right? So like make it make sense. Like if you're going to defend them and say that they're tanking for a quarterback, why the hell did they take two quarterbacks? And how is that not a fireable offense when you're building a new team? [00:43:54] Speaker B: Also, if you were tanking. If you were tanking. See, that's what I don't buy about this whole tank, because this team wasn't thinking they were going to tank. They started Joe Flacco, they had the whole fake quarterback battle. They thought they had some veterans here and they had some presence and they were going to win some games. If you were tanking, why not take Shador Sanders, who you don't believe is ready to play in the NFL and let him start all 17 games? [00:44:18] Speaker E: Throw him out there. [00:44:19] Speaker A: Yep. [00:44:19] Speaker B: You'll assure yourself if he's as bad as you think he is, that assures you the number one pick in the NFL draft next year. [00:44:25] Speaker A: Yep. If you're tanking, why didn't you trade multiple assets at the trade deadline to get draft? You know, draft capital, Right? Yeah. I mean, it's just crazy to me that, that there, at this point there, no matter which way you spin it, literally no matter which way you spin it, there is no reason to run it back with these guys. And I know you said they're going to because they're the Cleveland Browns, but there is absolutely no reason to give any of these guys another shot. [00:44:48] Speaker B: The problem is we keep looking at this logically. [00:44:52] Speaker A: There's no logic. [00:44:53] Speaker B: We keep looking at this as problem solvers and we keep going. They must have a plan. And I truly now am of the belief that there has never been a plan. They. They are absolutely in over their heads and have no idea how to manage the situation that they're in and have no idea what they're going to do. And I think if it's. If I think Kevin has some kind of handshake agreement with Jimmy that says, hey, we knew this year wasn't going to be great, but, you know, do your best and we'll bring you back next year. Other than that, I don't think there is a plan at all. [00:45:28] Speaker A: Yeah. And to kind of along those same lines, like, I think that, you know, we talk about changing the culture in Cleveland. Right. And we want to. We want to build a winning program, a winning team and whatever. I think that in their heads, Andrew Barry and Kevin Svensk are like, yeah, we got a winning culture. [00:45:45] Speaker B: And. [00:45:46] Speaker A: But they're the only ones that believe it. So they're like, they came into this season just assuming they were going to win games. And the entire team was like, guys, we're really bad at football. [00:45:57] Speaker B: They convinced Miles. Miles was on board. [00:46:01] Speaker A: I think. I think a few dollar signs convinced Miles. I don't think it was anything they said. [00:46:10] Speaker B: I mean, that's possible, I guess. [00:46:11] Speaker A: Do you think they went into that meeting with Miles? Cause he's like, they do I need to know the plan? And they were like, oh guys, we better come up with something fucking good right now. [00:46:19] Speaker B: Here's the thing. It is improbable that Miles is here because Miles stated at first he wanted out. He wanted to play for a contender. They threw a bag of money at him. It would have made sense for Miles to go to a contender and it would have made sense for the Browns to acquire picks for Mil. [00:46:37] Speaker A: That's how you know they're not tanking. [00:46:38] Speaker B: Makes no sense that he's here. So like what are we doing? Why. Why would you reinvest in a guy like that? That is a bookend piece on a team that could win a Super bowl when you can't win a game. [00:46:53] Speaker A: Playoffs. Playoffs. We can't even win a game. Yeah, put that in there. Put that. Find that one. [00:47:02] Speaker B: My final thing is too is I just got. I'm just. I'm super pissed off about this because I just can't. I can't let this go anymore because every week, whether it's and I'm not single anybody out but whether we're talking to brownsbackers or just other people on the show, I keep getting the Andrew Berry is okay, what a great draft class this was. None of his other draft picks are in the NFL from any other season that he's ever drafted anyone ever. He's got. He's got three or four decent names to his credit right now from this year. Andrew Bear has never done anything else that was any good. [00:47:35] Speaker A: It just always goes back to your analogy. If he just punches you in the face every day for the first six years that your friends but then one time he's like here's some flowers and candy. [00:47:43] Speaker B: But I'm just so sick of hearing like Andrew could probably stick around because he had a great draft this year. Did he though he drafted two quarterbacks that we can't One one's so bad he can't even get on the field. [00:47:53] Speaker A: That's what I've argued this whole time. Is the two quarterbacks null and void? Everything that he did in the few rounds before that and second we talked about Quin Sean Judkins. I'm not at panic mode of Quintean Judkins just yet, but Quin Sean Judkins has come back down to earth a little bit. Yeah, he's looking like a rookie lately and I know some of that has to do with the offensive line. That's. That's fair. That's fine. But before the and I'LL own up to this. Before the draft, I said, or I'm sorry, after the draft, I said we went the wrong guy. We should have went with Trayvon Henderson. And everybody up to this point has told me I'm crazy, has told me, whatever. Guess you just had a huge breakout game and multiple touchdowns because he's finally getting to get a full workload with Ramon J. Stevenson. Stevenson. Stevenson being out with injury. Travion Henderson. All of a sudden, Travion Henderson looks really damn good. [00:48:44] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:48:44] Speaker A: And he is so fast and he's shifty and he is. And so now it's like, yeah, early on, Quinn, Shawn Judkins look like the guy. [00:48:52] Speaker B: And again, for the people that think this draft was what a draft this guy had. Quinshon Judkins was on the COVID of college football 25. [00:49:02] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:49:03] Speaker B: That is not a high IQ pick to pick a guy that everybody on the planet knows is a good college football player. Dylan Sampson was the co SEC player of the year. [00:49:14] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:49:15] Speaker B: Those weren't high IQ draft picks. Carson Schwessinger. I'll give you good pick. And I'll give you Harold Fannin. [00:49:23] Speaker A: I'll give you Carson. Win some sort of award for like the best linebacker in the nation too, though. [00:49:28] Speaker E: I think so. [00:49:30] Speaker B: Again, I just like, even the guys that are panning out right now, like, those weren't. It wasn't like no one else thought these guys were going to be good. Anybody would have drafted those guys. There's 31 NFL teams that would love to have Quinch on Judkins on their team. [00:49:43] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:49:44] Speaker E: You guys haven't touched on he's. He made the worst trade in NFL history. [00:49:49] Speaker A: Well, that's just a giveaway. You don't even have to say it anymore. [00:49:51] Speaker E: You got to say it. You got to say it. [00:49:52] Speaker A: He made the worst trade in NFL history. [00:49:54] Speaker B: Well, that was the departing point for me from this whole organization when they let go of Baker to do the desean thing to begin with. [00:50:01] Speaker C: Damn it. [00:50:01] Speaker B: So at that point, at that point. [00:50:04] Speaker A: I knew 22 days. We were at 22 days. [00:50:07] Speaker B: Because regardless of what DeSean Watson was before he came to Cleveland, in that moment, there was still all of the baggage with everything that was going on. And at that point when I'm saying you're going to walk away from a guy who won the first playoff game in 30 years and your team is consistently winning games and had a bad year due to injury. Injury. And no one in the organization could figure out how to handle that, that you're going to Shift directions and go. That was the moment I knew. This crew doesn't know anything. They, they. They are absolutely clueless and they have no business running a football team. And I've been saying it ever since. [00:50:43] Speaker A: Bone, I hate you. I was just about to wrap up that, that part of this conversation. You threw that in there. So I'm going to do it now. I'm not going to keep going down this road because we could. We could. Now that we've gotten into this, we could talk about this for a long time. And I just erased our 22 days since we talked about Deshaun Watson. Had to sen0. But anyways, Bones, fault. Yeah, thanks, Bone. [00:51:03] Speaker E: I didn't say his name. I just brought up the trade. [00:51:06] Speaker A: But, guys, seriously. I know. Look, I don't want to get into full on coaching discussions yet, but just a couple of names. Well, I just, I want to save a lot of that for the, for the off season or when Kevin inevitably gets fired this season, so. But there are two guys I want to talk about real quick, and we're not going to go in depth. I just want to ask you about them. Are you guys, you guys in on Coach prime at this point? Are you guys in for that? [00:51:31] Speaker B: I'll let Bone go first. [00:51:32] Speaker E: Yeah, bring him in. [00:51:34] Speaker A: He's in. [00:51:35] Speaker E: Bring him in. [00:51:36] Speaker B: Let him. [00:51:36] Speaker E: Let him coach his son. [00:51:38] Speaker A: I mean, could he be worse than Kevin Stefanski? [00:51:40] Speaker E: No, I don't think so. [00:51:41] Speaker B: Zero chance. [00:51:42] Speaker E: No. [00:51:42] Speaker B: And so for that reason, I'm in. I think. I think if you ask people that, just topically, people would laugh at you. [00:51:48] Speaker A: Yeah, I agree. [00:51:48] Speaker B: But I think if you go back and you realize this is the same organization that hired Jinsky, Hugh Jackson, Freddy Kitchens, and now Kevin Stefanski, who's brought us nothing but misery, and people were excited about those hires, I see no reason why prime wouldn't be every bit as good or better than those guys. [00:52:07] Speaker A: If nothing else, you get a lot of cool talking points. You don't get the, well, we got to be better every single week. [00:52:13] Speaker B: I mean, look, it would be groundbreaking and historic to have that level of nepotism in the NFL. My dad is the coach, and so I'm going to be the quarterback. It might be the chemical, it might be the chemistry the Browns need. [00:52:25] Speaker E: Right. [00:52:25] Speaker A: If nothing else, like, imagine the drama when he has to. If. If Shador doesn't play well and he has to bench his own kid and he's like, you would know it's in earnest. Yeah. [00:52:34] Speaker B: If you got to bench your own kid, you know that that guy sucks. [00:52:38] Speaker A: If you want to know if Shador Sanders really is that good. [00:52:40] Speaker B: But not about that. Think about. Think about that is the engine that drives your team is your head coach and your quarterback. What better relationship could you have on the planet than father and son? That's a chemistry that could win you football games. It didn't come Colorado. [00:52:53] Speaker A: It is. It's just a wild thought. [00:52:54] Speaker B: I would bring it here in a heartbeat. [00:52:56] Speaker A: And. [00:52:56] Speaker B: And what's the worst case scenario? You go two seasons and it doesn't work out? You cut times with prime and try again. [00:53:04] Speaker A: We've been here for years. [00:53:06] Speaker B: You're going on three decades of this, so why not give it a shot? [00:53:10] Speaker A: The other guy I wanted to mention is Guden also. [00:53:13] Speaker B: It would make the Browns like number one publicity. [00:53:15] Speaker A: Like medium free agents would probably want to come here. [00:53:21] Speaker B: You'd be the lead story on first take every day all year long. [00:53:25] Speaker A: Yeah. The other guy I want to talk about is Gruden. We've actually talked about this a number of times before. We talked about on live show a little bit this week. Kenny, but bone Kenny. Thoughts here on Gruden coming in and being the guy? You know, we talked about an accountability guy, a guy that gets his players motivated. You guys, you guys like that move? [00:53:41] Speaker E: I like it. I feel like he was what he was. He was canceled a couple years ago. Some emails. [00:53:47] Speaker B: Yeah, he's been back. [00:53:48] Speaker E: He's been around on TV and whatnot. And I mean, he. His last coaching stop was in. [00:53:53] Speaker A: If desean Watson could come back, we can forgive desean. [00:53:56] Speaker E: Is he in Las Vegas or is he in Oakland before they moved or. Yeah, he was in Vegas. Okay. I don't think that ended up well, but. [00:54:04] Speaker B: Well, because he got canceled. [00:54:05] Speaker A: Yeah, he got canceled. [00:54:06] Speaker E: And the guy clearly knows football. He has a rich history in the game and I think a name like that would be kind of refreshing after Stefanski. [00:54:16] Speaker B: I love it. [00:54:17] Speaker A: Local ties, total football guy. [00:54:19] Speaker B: He's a gets us guy. Local ties. I know everybody's excited about that, but no, also football guy to Bowens point guy has been there, done that, has run multiple organizations. I'm not worried about him coming in and building a staff and. And making the right decisions. He's going to do what's hell. [00:54:33] Speaker A: I think he might keep Jim Schwartz. [00:54:36] Speaker B: He may very well. [00:54:38] Speaker A: And that's the only guy I want kept on from the coaching staff. [00:54:42] Speaker B: And. And I think he's also a quarterback guy. Right. We get Kevin Spansky. It's all this credit about being the quarterback whisperer. John Gruden's made a living of evaluating quarterbacks on TV in front of millions of people every week for years. So that's a guy that. [00:54:55] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:54:56] Speaker B: And in. In Las Vegas was very close with Derek Carr. And again, I know that whole thing blew up and exploded, but I mean, they, they bought houses next to each other, they were neighbors because they got along so well. Like, that's a guy that gets it and understands the critical mass that is a quarterback and having a good relationship with that person. So I'm all for, for Jon Gruden. I'm all for anybody but Stefanski. [00:55:17] Speaker A: That's fair. That's fair. Do you think we got it wrong? This whole time he was actually called the quarterback whisperer because he actually can't. You can't hear him, hear what quarterbacks are saying. [00:55:26] Speaker B: He's got a lot of great insight, but no one can hear him. [00:55:28] Speaker A: Guys, this is what you've got to do. [00:55:32] Speaker B: If you do this, that's the dumbest thing anything anyone's ever said. But here we are. [00:55:39] Speaker A: I don't know. I don't know. [00:55:40] Speaker C: Know. [00:55:44] Speaker A: All right, so to, to close out the Browns brief, I want to take a couple quick shots here at mkc. Mary Kabbit and Tony Grossi. I'm just so done with these guys. I don't care. I'm naming them by name because Mary Kay Cabot wrote an article after this week's get. After the Browns lost to the jets. She wrote an article titled, and I'm probably paraphrasing here, but it's. It's why it's smart to stick with Dylan Gabriel. The rest. [00:56:08] Speaker B: I think that was the actual title. [00:56:12] Speaker A: And she proceeded to name all the. Like, I didn't even. [00:56:14] Speaker B: You don't have to read the article. [00:56:15] Speaker A: You don't have to read. [00:56:16] Speaker B: All you need to know is the title was why it's smart to stick with Dylan Gabriel. [00:56:20] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:56:20] Speaker B: When everybody on the planet knows that's not a good idea. [00:56:22] Speaker A: And I'm just like, you've got to be kidding. Like, what are you watching? And then to make matters worse, Tony Grossi put out this tweet and he partially blamed the loss on the defense. He claimed that Tommy Reese was aggressive in his play calling and that the offense had energy. And he said that Dylan Gabriel played well and went on to say that he out. His quote was he outplayed a fifth year veteran that was a first round pick. Okay, first of all, the fifth year veteran that's first round pick is Justin Fields. That he's Talking about, yep, Justin Fields is not in a good place in his career, first of all. Second of all, Justin Fields is also on the Jets. [00:57:01] Speaker B: Justin Fields has never been in a good place in his career. No, there's a reason he's been on three teams in five years. [00:57:07] Speaker A: Right. And, and, and also, like, you want to go, like, who gives a. Like, what does that do for us? That doesn't change the fact that he's still ass. [00:57:20] Speaker B: I think you also have to factor into the equation that the jets weren't trying to win. [00:57:25] Speaker C: Right. [00:57:26] Speaker A: Like, I just, I, I kept seeing these things from, from both of these people, and I just, I got so angry. And then Tony Grossi took it to the next level because people were obviously tweeting him, telling, telling him he's an idiot, including myself. And he fires back at multiple people and tries to stick up for his point of view. And why. Why it was a good day for the Browns because he, he's on the tanking is a great thing for the Browns bandwagon. And, and it's just talking about how Dylan Gabriel is fine. He, he. The only thing I'll say is he does say overall he thinks he's a career backup, but he's saying it's fine to stick with Dylan Gabriel right now. We don't need to see Shador Sander, like, just all kinds of crazy stuff. And he talks about Sanders is bad when there's clips all over the Internet of him during draft time talking about Shador Sanders. They should take him at the third pick and he should be the guy in Cleveland. [00:58:19] Speaker E: So he's clearly reading note cards from the Browns. [00:58:21] Speaker A: Yes, and that's my point, without a. [00:58:24] Speaker E: Doubt, to say that you're clearly reading note cards from the Browns. [00:58:27] Speaker A: And that's my whole. [00:58:28] Speaker E: Four favors from the Browns. [00:58:30] Speaker A: Right. And that's my whole point with this thing. And, and don't get me wrong, it's not lost in me that these guys, guys, they're well known. Mary Kick Abbott and Tony Grossi, well known names in Cleveland. [00:58:41] Speaker B: Cleveland forever. [00:58:42] Speaker A: They're getting paid very well to do what they do. They're getting paid by the Browns very well to do what they do. Be that salary or in terms of the interviews that they get and everything else. [00:58:53] Speaker B: But Jimmy said those rebate checks still cash. [00:58:56] Speaker A: Yeah, but I just, like, I'm just so sick of, like, the Browns media. The, the, these people in particular, they're like the mainstream media. And the fact that you just can't listen to them because they are on the payroll of the Browns in some way or another. And they're just going to say everything the Browns want you to hear. You can't get actual information out of them unless it's something that's favorable to the Browns. [00:59:20] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. Mouthpieces for the organization for sure. And look, I mean, a part of me can't blame them because that's what puts food on their table. Right. I mean, if you have the unprecedented access that Mary Kay. Kevin Cabot has had for 20 years with this organization, you're not going to jeopardize that by telling the truth. [00:59:38] Speaker A: Right, Right. Unprecedented access. We've got good stories about Mary Kay Cabot, but. Yeah, yeah, I'm right there. Like, I get. I get why they're doing it, but it doesn't change the fact that there's absolutely no integrity with these. These reporters, quote, unquote, reporters. [00:59:55] Speaker B: I mean, the sad thing is, is that the. The casual fan takes cues from people like this. [01:00:00] Speaker A: Absolutely. [01:00:00] Speaker B: And it just murkies. [01:00:01] Speaker A: The. [01:00:02] Speaker B: The mur. Just muddies the water. And I think this is the reason actually going on. [01:00:06] Speaker A: Yeah. I think this is the reason for this huge contingency of people that are like, yeah, let's run it back. Is these people. [01:00:12] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:00:13] Speaker A: And it's just not. It's. It's just not something we should be doing. It's not. You can't do this year after year. You just can't do it. But apparently they want us to. [01:00:22] Speaker B: They love it. [01:00:23] Speaker A: And I want to flip that around and actually say I've. I've gained some serious respect for Rizzo because Rizzo tells it like it is he. This week. He came out after the game on Sunday. He came out Monday, and he's just calling for everyone to be fired this week. He's done. He's like. He's calling. He's calling out everyone. He's calling out coaches, he's calling out players. He's calling out Jimmy Haslam. He's calling out everybody. He's calling out fans. Like this. He came out. He's like, I think his quote was something. And I'm paraphrasing it was something of, like, you know, I remember the time when we strove for Super Bowls. Did we win any? No. But that's what we strove for here in Cleveland. And now that we're just okay with running it back with these coaches that lose every game, like, what happened to the fans? And when did they get so soft? [01:01:08] Speaker B: And Rizzo's been a fixture for a long time, too, on whatever ESPN 850 or whatever he's on. But he's had. He has Grossie on the show a lot, and they've had some legendary spats this year over the Shador thing. So. Yeah, look, I mean, the Grossi. [01:01:25] Speaker A: You're wrong, Rizzo. [01:01:26] Speaker G: You're right. [01:01:26] Speaker B: The mainstream media is what the mainstream media is. And that's why, if you want the truth and you want the pulse of Browns fans, you listen to shows like ours. [01:01:34] Speaker A: Yeah, we. We just call it like. We see it like, there's no filter, obviously. We're not trying to impress anybody. [01:01:41] Speaker B: Well, the fact that there's a. [01:01:43] Speaker A: Listen, you listen. [01:01:43] Speaker B: The fact that there is a market for. That, there's an appetite for straightforward talk and observation of what is actually going on here, it just speaks to the fact that there is so little trust left in the institutions that were once the established legacy media. [01:01:58] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. So I just. I just had to talk about that because I was on. On X today, on social media today, and it was just pissing me off just reading all these things from these guys. [01:02:08] Speaker B: Yeah. You can't take anything they say seriously. [01:02:11] Speaker A: It's almost to the point where it's a joke. I was like, you've got to be kidding. Kidding me, right? [01:02:15] Speaker B: Right. 100. [01:02:16] Speaker A: I. I reposted to Grossi today after his the offense had energy thing. I. I re. [01:02:25] Speaker B: Appreciate your energy. [01:02:26] Speaker A: I quoted. I quoted a tweet, Adam. It was a montage of all of Dylan Gabriel's bad throws. And I asked him, I said, is this the energy you speak of? So there was that. But with that, let's go ahead. [01:02:36] Speaker B: We're on the only football team. We were for the only football team theme on the planet that each week we get a highlight reel of our quarterback's worst throws consistently every week. This is the. This is now a thing that just happens. [01:02:48] Speaker E: There's so much material. [01:02:49] Speaker B: There's so much content. [01:02:52] Speaker A: That's enough about the Browns right now. Let's go ahead. I guess the whole thing's about the Browns, but let's. Let's get into the division roundup. All right, guys. We usually start with Cincinnati. They were on by this, which is good, because nobody wants to watch that trash team. Cincinnati is in Kentucky, by the way. That's true. And nobody in Cincinnati is cool except for the brownsbackers that live down there. [01:03:22] Speaker B: That's true as well. [01:03:23] Speaker A: So, Kenny, you. You usually have a thing or two to say about Cincinnati. You got anything to add? [01:03:27] Speaker B: No, I hate Cincinnati. They don't have an airport and they don't allow strip clubs. [01:03:32] Speaker A: The worst type of people, the worst city. Next up, Baltimore beat the Vikings. We were all right there. We all knew that was going to happen. McCarthy not that good. [01:03:43] Speaker B: Trash. [01:03:44] Speaker A: And Baltimore's got Lamar back. They're rolling now. So next up, Pittsburgh lost to the Chargers. We were all right with that one, too. I think we're all on the same page here as far as Pittsburgh being pretenders. Like, they had a good start to the season, but now it's time to come back down to earth. [01:03:58] Speaker B: Yeah, they'll be just over 509 and 8. [01:04:02] Speaker A: And then finally, Cleveland lost to the Jets. Yes, we lost to the Jets. I know every time I say it, you guys are surprised, but we lost to the Jets. You know who got that one wrong, though? There's only one person that on the. On our show that thought the Cleveland Browns were going to win that game, and it was Kenny. Kenny Thunder. So you were wrong. We were all right. [01:04:22] Speaker B: Jets aren't trying to win. [01:04:25] Speaker A: To be fair. To be fair. I know I shit on you all the time, and it's a lot of fun to do so, but if there. [01:04:31] Speaker B: Was a game on the schedule left for them to win, it was Sunday. [01:04:34] Speaker A: That's not even worse. I was just saying, to be fair. You actually said, I picked the jets, but I have to catch up, so I'm picking the B.R. [01:04:41] Speaker F: Browns. [01:04:41] Speaker B: That's true. A lot of good that did. [01:04:42] Speaker E: It was a pick of necessity. [01:04:43] Speaker A: Yep. And he lost, so it feels bad. You're further behind. Thanks for the AFC north standings are as follows. Pittsburgh's at 5 and 4, Baltimore right behind now at 4 and 5, Cincinnati at 3 and 6, and Cleveland is at 2 and 7, current king of the north standings. We'll come back to this later. Bone at 19 and 13. I'm right behind at 18 and 14. John's right behind me at 17 and 15, and Kenny's nowhere close at 13 and 19. [01:05:04] Speaker B: We're getting there. [01:05:06] Speaker A: So with that, let's go ahead and take a really quick trip around the nf. All right, so to start this trip around the NFL, Paul Tagliabu passed away this past week. Yeah, I mean, obviously commissioner for a long time, a big name. Everybody knows Paul Tagliabu, hall of Famer. And if I'm not mistaken, he was. He was critical part of bringing, like, NFL TV deals, all that stuff and. [01:05:43] Speaker B: Yeah, and he was a large part of a lot of the new money that you're seeing with player contracts and stuff today. So, I mean, he was. He was a players commissioner this hits home a little bit with me, I guess, just because, like, he was the commissioner I grew up with, you know, like, he was the name on all the footballs when you purchased a football growing up, so. But hall of Famer, well respected. I don't know anybody that, like, hated Paul Tagley. I mean, seemed like he was good for the NFL, you know, that was back in the day when football was still football. Before Roger Goodell came in and ruined a lot of stuff. Made a lot of money for the NFL, but he's changed a lot of shit that's made football less enjoyable. [01:06:23] Speaker A: Yeah, I was going to say, you said nobody really disliked Paul Teglavi. Well, everybody dislikes Roger Goodell. Right? [01:06:29] Speaker B: Everybody except for the owners. Because he is a cash machine. [01:06:32] Speaker A: Yep. Next up, Giants fired Brian Dall. [01:06:36] Speaker B: Coach of the year. Brian Dall. [01:06:38] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:06:38] Speaker B: Don't forget. [01:06:39] Speaker A: Imagine that. Yeah, yeah. Coach of the year. Means a lot. My only question after this is, how did he get fired and we're still stuck with Kevin Stefanski. [01:06:49] Speaker B: Great question. [01:06:49] Speaker A: Like, the New York Giants are actually showing some life. They're not winning many games, but they're showing life. And Jackson darts playing fairly well. Scatter Boo was playing well before he got hurt. I just. It's mind boggling that this guy lost his job and Kevin Stefanski still has his. [01:07:05] Speaker B: Here's the difference. The New York Giants have won Super Bowls. Fair in this millennium. [01:07:15] Speaker A: You didn't even have to say that. You could have just said Super Bowls. [01:07:20] Speaker B: I know that they're the butt of a lot of jokes right now because they've been bad for a couple of years and they struggle, but organizationally, they're pretty good organization. I mean, they. They have won. They have won games. They have won a lot of football games. And they don't stand for mediocrity forever. It's just perpetual losing, which is what the Cleveland Browns absolutely believe in. [01:07:45] Speaker A: Yeah. Browns is ass. Speaking of coaches on the hot seat, Mike McDaniels and the Miami Dolphins hung 30 on the bills and just humped them. [01:07:54] Speaker B: That's a guy that is trying to keep his job. [01:07:56] Speaker A: Dude, Miami had to be hopped up on so much cocaine, the whole team. Whole team. They came in there like, we gotta get this one. [01:08:04] Speaker B: Whatever McDaniels was selling, allegedly, he's like. [01:08:07] Speaker A: You know, now that we got rid of our gm, I'm free to do the booger sugar again. We're getting sued. [01:08:15] Speaker B: Feels bad for the Bills. [01:08:16] Speaker A: Yeah. Next up, but transitive property. [01:08:19] Speaker B: We beat Miami, they beat the Bills. We're better than Buffalo. [01:08:22] Speaker A: Now you're talking my language. [01:08:23] Speaker B: There we go. [01:08:25] Speaker A: Ram signed Harrison Mevis this week in his debut, he went six of six out of extra points. And he's in line to start again this week. It's a big story because he's a big guy. Harrison Mievis is also known as the thicker kicker. He's 5 11, 250 pounds. [01:08:40] Speaker B: He's a big boy, but he was stacked. But he was 6 for 6 this week on all his extra points. [01:08:45] Speaker A: That guy's pretty good. [01:08:46] Speaker B: He's found new life. He bounced around a little bit. Undrafted in 24 and hit a couple. [01:08:50] Speaker A: Different orgs and you mean to tell. [01:08:52] Speaker B: Me we could kicker has found his home. [01:08:54] Speaker A: We could have replaced Dustin Hobby. [01:08:56] Speaker B: Yeah, we could have had the thicker kicker instead of Andre Schmidt. Dang. [01:09:00] Speaker A: Feels bad. Those two physiques could not be any further apart. [01:09:04] Speaker B: No, Andre Schmidt looks like a 12 year old boy. [01:09:06] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:09:07] Speaker B: No offense. [01:09:09] Speaker A: Yeah, none at all. [01:09:10] Speaker B: But I mean, I'm not the one to be doling out body criticism, but. [01:09:15] Speaker A: Yeah, you're fat. [01:09:16] Speaker B: Lost 85 pounds, but still fat. [01:09:18] Speaker A: Still fat. And we got. You just mentioned Dustin Hopkins. Speaking of former Browns, former Brown safety, Brown safety Juan Thornhill has been released by the Steelers. Dude's trash. Dude's ass trash. [01:09:31] Speaker B: That guy's not good. [01:09:33] Speaker A: I just think it's funny because he was. He talked a lot of shit on his way out. Was just like, yeah, nope, you asked. [01:09:40] Speaker B: Andrew Barry knows how to find guys. [01:09:42] Speaker A: Really knows how to pick him. That was one that at the time everybody thought was fantastic. And yeah, hindsight being 20 20, another guy's probably gonna be out of the league. [01:09:49] Speaker B: Yep. [01:09:51] Speaker A: And then finally here, Alex Singleton of the Broncos. [01:09:54] Speaker B: Didn't he get a Cleveland Brown stat too? [01:09:56] Speaker A: Yeah, well, you remember I, I like, I called all the fans out on that because everybody made a big deal about it. And I was like, all the photos were selectively cropped because he has an NFL logo in the middle. [01:10:10] Speaker B: All the teams. [01:10:10] Speaker A: And then he gets a tattoo of the teams he plays for because he had a Chiefs logo and then he had a Brownie the elf. Like, yeah, that's not him doing anything for the Brown. Like you play for the team, so you're getting attacked. [01:10:20] Speaker B: Stop it. He gets us. [01:10:21] Speaker A: No, he doesn't. [01:10:22] Speaker B: He got us. [01:10:24] Speaker A: He's asked he's ass. I guess he does get us. Alex Singleton of the Broncos, after routine blood work, was informed that he had a testicular tumor, however cancerous. However it has since been removed. That happened after the Broncos Thursday night football game. His prognosis is getting good and he's expected to return very soon. So good. Good news out there. [01:10:51] Speaker E: Good for him. [01:10:51] Speaker B: Highlighted the importance of. [01:10:55] Speaker A: Early detection. [01:10:56] Speaker B: Early detection. [01:10:57] Speaker A: Get checked. [01:10:58] Speaker B: What's. [01:10:58] Speaker A: What was that? [01:10:59] Speaker E: Pre screens. [01:11:00] Speaker B: Was that time pre screening? That's that. Tom Green. [01:11:03] Speaker E: Oh, yeah. Tom Green. [01:11:04] Speaker B: Squeeze your balls. Please. Your balls. [01:11:07] Speaker A: Yeah, that was. [01:11:08] Speaker B: You name a song about that. [01:11:09] Speaker A: I think so. Yeah. [01:11:10] Speaker E: Tom Green show. [01:11:11] Speaker B: Tom Green show. Tom Green show. So it's not every day Tom Green makes this appearance on the brown spot. [01:11:17] Speaker E: Tom Green show. It's not the gre. Meantime show. It is my favorite show. [01:11:23] Speaker B: It is my favorite show. I missed that. [01:11:25] Speaker A: Yeah, that was a good jingle. Every time I think of Tom Green, I just think of Freddy got Fingered. [01:11:30] Speaker B: That movie didn't do well. [01:11:32] Speaker A: No, but in that movie, you got the classic. I'm the backwards man. The backwards man. I walk backwards fast. [01:11:38] Speaker E: Yeah, it's a great. [01:11:38] Speaker B: A lot of goods in that room. [01:11:40] Speaker A: I can see through wooden doors. Yeah. But anyways, get checked. Checked out. Check yourself. [01:11:46] Speaker B: Check yourself before you wreck yourself. [01:11:49] Speaker A: Absolutely. Kenny, I think it's time for another interview in our Browns backers interview series. [01:11:54] Speaker B: All right, let's go. How much money do you make a year before taxes? I'm actually not comfortable answering that. Come on. We're doing the interview now, not you. [01:12:10] Speaker A: All right, so. So for this Brownsbackers interview, please help me welcome, hailing from Nico's Bar in Gyros in North Royalton, Ohio, the president of the North Royalton Brownsbackers. [01:12:22] Speaker G: Guys, thanks for having me. [01:12:24] Speaker A: Thanks for joining us. How are you today? [01:12:27] Speaker G: Outstanding. First snow of the year, right? It was this week. [01:12:31] Speaker A: Yeah, it's. It's kind of the first one's always. Everybody's okay with the first one, and after that, it's getting kind of wiggity. But it was. It was a nice surprise after the Browns just brought us all down this weekend, so. [01:12:44] Speaker G: Yes, it lightened things up. [01:12:47] Speaker A: Exactly. But, hey, listen, tell us a little bit about your chapter. [01:12:51] Speaker G: So North Royalton bronze backers, we've been around since 2018 was our first year. So Niko's, for those who've never been there at that time was about half the size, a little less than half of its current capacity. So I think we end. We ended the first year with 70 people, and you couldn't. You were sitting on kegs and stuff. There was just nowhere to go anywhere. And after that first year was so successful, Nico bought out the place next door, blew the wall out and built this incredible sports bar that we enjoy today. At last count, I think we're 297 members. Doors open at 11 for a one o' clock game. You better be in a. If you want a bar seat, you better be there by 11:30, and if you want a table by 12:15 or you're going to be standing. So it's fantastic. [01:13:51] Speaker B: Nice. [01:13:52] Speaker A: Nice. And that's. I mean, not to be a little bit of a Debbie Downer here, but that's. That's even like in seasons like now, you're getting full capacity and everything. [01:14:01] Speaker B: Yep. [01:14:02] Speaker G: We had standing room yesterday. [01:14:04] Speaker A: Nice. That's incredible. You know, some people, they aren't as fortunate. And it's. I talk. We talk to these brownsbackers presidents every week. And you guys are all doing great things for the community and things like that, which we'll get to in just a second. But when the Browns have a season like this season, I know it gets tough towards the end of the season to fill the bars. So it's just awesome that you guys are filling the bars every. The bar every single week. [01:14:26] Speaker G: Well, we have a pretty fun event. [01:14:30] Speaker B: Most. [01:14:31] Speaker G: Most games. I'll have a megaphone there so everyone can hear everything. And that can become terribly annoying to some people, but it's a lot of fun for people like me. This year, I don't really need the megaphone anymore, but as long as all the seats are filled and, you know, people are buying raffle tickets or 50 50s or whatever we happen to be doing, it's all fun. [01:14:54] Speaker A: Absolutely. And so kind of speaking of that community service and that charity work and you're talking about events and I'm assum. Raffles and things like that. What kind of charities are you working with? [01:15:06] Speaker G: So early on, like year two, we established a scholarship fund at North Carolton High School. So every year since then, we. We've awarded four $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors, which is, for me, probably the best thing we do do every single year. Just, it's outstanding. They come in with their families right at the end of the year, they say a few words to the members, we give them a check and, you know, we help them get on their way. And we've done this long enough now that we're having some of those. I shouldn't call them kids now, young adults coming back because they've graduated or something. And so that's. That's really. We. My favorite thing we. We do, but we work really closely also with the firefighters. We donated over two years about $30,000 to build a new Safety Town Village with them. And we're right now we're working really closely with the track and field program at North Royalton and we bought them hurdles and we bought them starting blocks and whatnot. And our new thing and it's just in the kind of infancy stages, so this will be breaking news for you guys, but we're starting to engage with Empower Sports who gives kids with physical and developmental challenges opportunities to compete in different sports. And we're going to try to put together a track and field event in the spring with the North Fuelton program with Empower Sports, which will be fantastic if we can pull it off. [01:17:00] Speaker A: Nice. I think that deserves another round of applause, Kenny. Yeah. [01:17:05] Speaker G: It'S gonna be good stuff. [01:17:08] Speaker A: That's exciting. And those are, you know, even besides that, which is an awesome cause the first two charities that you spoke about, I mean just, just great stuff to be involved with. You guys sound like you're doing big things over there in North Royalton. [01:17:20] Speaker B: Very cool that you have a scholarship program. How do you guys like, what's your criteria? Like do you have to be a Browns fan to qualify? [01:17:26] Speaker G: Well, no, you know, it's kind of funny that it's one of the, one of the things, you know. So the school coordinates applications. We get about 60 to 80 applications a year here. And you know, they have to give us some history, you know, clubs, activities, community service. There's a like a four paragraph essay about who they are, what they want to be, why they want to be, that type of thing. And then the school insists on giving us their transcripts. And so for us, if you have straight A's, you're probably not getting our scholarship because you're smart and you don't need a money and there ain't nobody and I'm on my, and my board. There was a straight A person that's, you know, so really it's about. We try to award one to a young person going into the trades, at least one. And then it's really about the, the stories they tell and, and why they're motivated to go do what. Whatever it is they're dreaming about going to do. And even after the scholarship, you know, we're always there. If those people are struggling and they need something else, we are always there. Really the best thing we do, we put together a season long squares board. I don't know how many years ago now, six or something. And that program pretty much fully funds the scholarships. Not quite, but pretty much. So it's, it kind of self funds every year now because everyone stays. Keeps their squares. So it's a great deal. [01:19:20] Speaker A: Yeah. That is awesome. Yeah. Everything you guys are doing, I mean, it's just, it's. It's great. And, and, and as much as I would like to talk about all the work you guys are doing, I'm going to move. I'm going to move us on to the football side of things here just because, you know, we got a long episode to produce here. So. So, I mean, not that we really want to talk about the Browns and. Actually, I'll go back real quick. You asked if they have to be a Browns fan for the scholarship. You can't do that. That's like cruel and unusual punishment to children like you. You don't want to be known. [01:19:51] Speaker G: One of the things we laugh about is how few applicants actually write Go Browns on the bottom of their essay. Maybe one a year. And to me it seems that would be something really obvious. But we do have to make a. A specific rule that if they were to be awarded a scholarship and they come up to their. With their family to Nico's to get it awarded at the end of the year, whether if they're not a brown span and they're a fan of a different team, that's fine. But you can't wear those colors when you come get your bronze. [01:20:28] Speaker A: Nice. [01:20:30] Speaker B: Good choice. [01:20:32] Speaker G: So either wear brown stuff or wear something else. [01:20:35] Speaker B: They just throw out the applications that say go Browns. That kid's not going anywhere. [01:20:41] Speaker A: Not sure about this one. Yeah, no, but like I said on the. Onto the football side of things here. So just real quick, who's going to win this Sunday and what's your score prediction? And with that, feel free to expand upon anything that you'd like to. Browns related. I'm not going to. All right, I'll let you talk. [01:20:59] Speaker G: All right, well, if we pretend for a minute that the Browns offense isn't just inept at this moment, even if they were average. Well, if they were average, I may actually. I may actually pick the Browns, though. Looks at. [01:21:20] Speaker A: Looks at. [01:21:20] Speaker G: The Ravens are getting healthy, especially in the secondary now. They kind of kicked the crap out of the Vikings last Sunday. Nine. Rookie quarterback. Well, not really a rookie. [01:21:36] Speaker A: Right. [01:21:37] Speaker G: But kind of a rookie first year, you know, as a full starter, healthy. And that's kind of what I expect. I expect that assuming that. That Dylan Gabriels who were running out there again, it's going to get ugly fast. You know, I'm feeling like a 3110 kind of, you know, 3114 kind of thing. If maybe Quin. [01:22:05] Speaker A: Sean can. [01:22:06] Speaker G: Can break one. Yeah, it's not going to be a ton of fun. [01:22:10] Speaker A: Well, just, you know, just to confirm it for you. Kevin. Kevin Stefanski in his press conference today, Monday, said that he is sticking with. Well, he said right after the game. He said right after the game, too. On Sunday, he said before anybody asked a question, he said, we are sticking with Dylan Gabriel. [01:22:28] Speaker G: So, yeah, I was. I mean, being Monday, I'm hoping he changes his mind. Not that I'm a giant shoe necessarily. [01:22:36] Speaker A: He reiterated it today, is what I was gonna say. But Sunday after the game, he said it right away, and then today he said it again. So we hope he changes. [01:22:44] Speaker G: Well, in a couple weeks, you know, we're. We're playing the Raiders in Vegas. [01:22:48] Speaker C: Vegas. [01:22:49] Speaker G: And a whole bunch of us Brownsbackers are flying out there. There's a gigantic brownsbackers bash the night before. Big tailgate, you know, earlier in the day. And if that were to be Shadora's first game, the value of my tickets would go up so immensely that I may be tempted to sell the tickets and just watch the game with the Las Vegas Brownsbacks so I can profit at that one. [01:23:15] Speaker B: That's fair. [01:23:15] Speaker A: That's fair. Yeah. So it sounds like you're. You're. You said it could get ugly fast. You said 31, 10, 31, 14. What's your. We got to get an actual score prediction, so if you're right, we can call you out next week. [01:23:27] Speaker B: All right. [01:23:28] Speaker A: 31, 13, 31. That's okay. [01:23:31] Speaker B: He's meat in the middle. [01:23:32] Speaker A: Great minds think alike. So being besides that, like I said, I would love to stay on and talk to you all day about the different things you guys are doing over there. Was it 297 members, I think you said? Yep. [01:23:47] Speaker B: Yep. [01:23:48] Speaker G: Last count. [01:23:49] Speaker A: That's a big number. You're about to get three more because we join every brownsbackers group that we interview. So you guys will be over 300 and. Yeah, just keep doing what you're doing. Keep staying involved in the community. I'm sure they love you so much out there. And. And if we're ever in North Royalton during a Browns game, you know we're going to be stopped. Stopping in to say, hey, I have to do it. [01:24:10] Speaker G: I'll get the first round. [01:24:12] Speaker A: Absolutely. There's so many first rounds now that we've racked up, no matter where we go, for a Browns time to go kick. [01:24:19] Speaker B: All right, never mind. [01:24:20] Speaker G: I'll buy the Euros. [01:24:22] Speaker A: Ah, there we go. There we go. I said gyro, so I'm one of those guys. But that's all right. Don't. What'd you say? Don't tell Nico. [01:24:32] Speaker G: Yeah, don't tell Nico. [01:24:35] Speaker A: But, hey, Tim, we really appreciate it. Thanks for joining us and we hope to talk to you soon. [01:24:39] Speaker G: All right, I appreciate the time, guys. We're the North Wellington Brownsbackers and you're listening to the burning river sportscast. Go Browns. [01:24:56] Speaker A: Good time talking to Tim from the north Royalton Brownsville. [01:24:58] Speaker E: Yeah. [01:25:01] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:25:02] Speaker A: Tim's a good dude. [01:25:03] Speaker B: Sounds like they have a pretty packed house. [01:25:05] Speaker A: Over 300 members now. That's fantastic. [01:25:07] Speaker B: I mean, there's not a lot of Browns backer bars that are, you know, have standing room only on Sundays right now with this team, so. Good for them. [01:25:14] Speaker A: Yeah, absolutely. [01:25:15] Speaker C: Whoa. [01:25:16] Speaker A: What's that? I. I think we got an incoming message from Brownster. Not. It's time for Mission Control. [01:25:27] Speaker B: 9, 8, 3, 2, 1, 0. Ignition. [01:25:39] Speaker A: Lift off. [01:25:40] Speaker B: Lift off. [01:25:46] Speaker A: This is Brown Schnautt calling in on the burning river sportscast. Can you guys hear me? Great crew. I'm not gonna lie. The dog ship has a little bang up, but this week we're back in Cleveland orbit and we're just a little different at home. Stronger, louder, and sometimes even dangerous. Time to patch up the ship, fire up the jets and strap in because the dog pound is ready to shake. [01:26:05] Speaker D: Up the galaxy once again. [01:26:14] Speaker A: Brownster not was back this week. [01:26:16] Speaker B: Brownster not. He disappeared. He got lost in space. [01:26:19] Speaker A: Last week we were pretty concerned. We were like Brownster to earth to Brown structure. I'm glad. I'm glad he found his way back to us. [01:26:29] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:26:29] Speaker A: Radio waves. Yeah. But, you know, after mission control, obviously. You know what it's time for? It's time for the week 11 preview preview. All right, boys, this is what we didn't look forward to this entire show. [01:26:54] Speaker B: This week we have Browns still got to play a game. This week. [01:26:56] Speaker A: Yeah. This week we have the Ravens. Kenny, you know what it's time for? [01:26:59] Speaker B: It's time for Kenny's notes. [01:27:05] Speaker D: All right. [01:27:05] Speaker B: It's time for Kenny's cliff notes. Are you ready for Cliff's notes? [01:27:08] Speaker A: I think so. [01:27:09] Speaker B: It's time. [01:27:10] Speaker A: Well, we might start just making Cliff notes the whole preview. [01:27:14] Speaker B: Whatever. [01:27:14] Speaker A: No, I want my segment. [01:27:15] Speaker B: There's nothing to get excited about. The Ravens are 4 and 5. Lamar looks healthy, and Derek Henry is over 700 yards on the season with six touchdowns. Guys, look, it doesn't matter what I say at this point. The matchups don't matter. This team's not even pretending to try to win anymore. Cripe's sake. They're trotting out Dylan Gabriel. This just isn't a serious football team. It's the blind leading the blind out there. They're actively angling. [01:27:43] Speaker A: Blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes. [01:27:45] Speaker B: They're actively angling for a top draft pick, which don't get too excited about because they're just going to trade down for a tackle anyway. Because the quarterback of the future is here. He's a supercomputer with all the tools besides height, arm strength, athleticism, good decision making, but all the rest of the tools he's got. This team is a bad habit. They are crack or meth. They'll disappoint you. They'll ruin your life. They'll never pay a return on all the money you spent on tickets, tailgating or jerseys. But we just keep coming back. We got to get that fix. [01:28:14] Speaker A: We love them. [01:28:15] Speaker B: Absolute slop masquerading as a football team. There's not a player. There's not a. There's not a prayer on Sunday. This team's going to lose and lose badly. As per plan. Make your draft preparations friends. That's what this team is playing for. Go Browns. [01:28:30] Speaker A: I think the draft's in Pittsburgh next year. It's not far to go to watch it. [01:28:33] Speaker B: That's what we get to look forward to, boys. That's it. I got no preview. This is it. This for this week. [01:28:38] Speaker A: With Kenny's Cliff Notes comes another edition of Ronnie Jams. Matchups that matter. All right, fellas, I'm going to use the word matter loosely. [01:28:55] Speaker B: Loosely. [01:28:56] Speaker A: Smart. I'm on. I'm on the same bandwagon as you, Kenny. I don't think anything really matters. These are just things that I find interesting at this point. Miles Garrett versus the offensive line. Anybody? Doesn't matter. Whoever's matched up with him? Just Miles Garrett versus his. His matchup. I'm all in on the only good thing that can come of this season because we ass is Miles Garrett breaking the sack record. So I'm all in on that. That's what I'm looking forward to every week. Just how many sacks Miles Garrett can get. And then I can tell my friend John Tinchy on Facebook that Miles Garrett is really bad. He shouldn't be playing football. He's terrible. He's awful. He broke the sack record. Hall of Famer, whatever. Yeah, so that's what I'm looking forward to. Miles Garrett versus the offensive line. And then Carson Schinger fresh off of his dog of the week performance versus Lamar Jackson. I just think they're going to have him spying Lamar throughout the game, and I just want to see kind of how he steps up. I think this is kind of, you know, Carson's a. An athletic linebacker, and I just want to see how he matches up with Lamar and if he's able to contain him. So that's the second matchup in summary. As a team, the Ravens are coming off a win against the Vikings, Almost back on top of the division after an awful start, especially with Lamar being back. They're doing, you know, they're just rolling. They're 4 and 5 right now. The defense is not very good. They're number 27 overall, number 28 against the pass, number 21 against the run. On offense, they don't look that much better. But with Lamar back, we all know that this is kind of. This, this. Most of these stats came from when Lamar was out, but they're number 20 overall in the NFL. Well, on offense, they have the number six rushing attack and the number 28 passing attack. And then you got the Browns coming off a loss to the Jets 2 and 7 record. We're not good. Our defense is pretty good. Number three overall, number six against the run, number nine against the pass. Offensively, we're pretty much the worst. We're number 31, second to second to worst. So I, I think it's probably the worst now. I don't know if this is even updated for this week, but we're probably the worst now. [01:30:56] Speaker B: I mean, who's number 32 is the jets, right? They gotta be probably four yards. [01:31:01] Speaker A: They're probably still the worst. We haven't. We haven't made it to the bottom yet, but our rushing attack is number 28. Our passing attacks number 29. The Browns are awful. Kevin Stevenski, still the coach. Bubba Ventrone is still the special teams coordinator. Dylan Gabriel, still your quarterback. You can tell me nothing else about this team, and I'll tell you they're going to lose every single game. So tell us if there is any key whatsoever to victory. Let's bring in the big Bone, man, because it's time for Bone man. Skeleton key to victory. [01:31:36] Speaker B: Bone has been Nostradamus here of late. [01:31:39] Speaker A: He has. He has. [01:31:41] Speaker B: He called the Miles Garrett sack game. [01:31:43] Speaker A: None of his keys to victory work. We don't. He tells us what's gonna happen. [01:31:48] Speaker B: He called the Miles Garrett sack game. Then last week, we said we need to stretch the field to get the ball to Jerry Judy, who had six catches for 78 yards and a touchdown. Those things are happening. [01:31:57] Speaker A: Yeah. I think that the one time he said we got to have turnovers, and we did. We forced a few turnovers. [01:32:02] Speaker B: We lost. [01:32:02] Speaker A: Still lost. Yeah. [01:32:03] Speaker E: So Quinton going over like 120, 100 yards. No, over 25 carries. 25 carries. [01:32:09] Speaker A: 25 carries, which hadn't happened since 2012. And he did promptly happen that way week. And we won. That was the only one we won. [01:32:15] Speaker B: There's not a lot of reasons to listen to this show, but to hear Bones insight, I mean, he's got something. I don't know the genius, but the stuff that he says does happen. [01:32:24] Speaker A: Yeah, Bone, what's the skeleton key to victory this week? [01:32:27] Speaker E: Well, I'm going off. I'm going all in this week. [01:32:30] Speaker A: He also dropped another swear. [01:32:31] Speaker B: All right. [01:32:32] Speaker E: Skeleton key to victory. Miles Garrett, strip sack. Carson Scher picks it up for a touchdown score. [01:32:39] Speaker A: He went so specific. He's like, let's test this. [01:32:44] Speaker E: That's what I'm saying. We're testing it out. You know, maybe part of it is going to happen. You know, go ahead and put your bets in. [01:32:53] Speaker A: I don't know if we don't give betting advice, but. [01:32:55] Speaker E: But yeah. Strip, sack, scoop and score touchdown. [01:32:59] Speaker A: If this happens, I might literally myself during the game. [01:33:02] Speaker B: It's going to be 30 to 7. Brown, scoop and score touchdown. [01:33:06] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. [01:33:06] Speaker E: We might not win still, but. [01:33:09] Speaker A: But that's the skeleton key to victory. If that happens, we've got a little bit more of a chance than we did before. [01:33:14] Speaker B: If that does happen, I'm going to start taking betting advice from Bone. [01:33:17] Speaker A: Yeah, absolutely. Speaking of betting advice, what's the betting info for us this week? Kenny? [01:33:22] Speaker B: Betting info? I will tell you. [01:33:28] Speaker A: Unprepared. [01:33:29] Speaker B: No, I was prepared, but I got a notification that the. The government shutdown has come to an end. Voice Excellent. [01:33:35] Speaker A: It's happening. [01:33:35] Speaker B: Breaking news. [01:33:36] Speaker A: Breaking. It won't be breaking. Breaking on Thursday. When you hear this. [01:33:39] Speaker B: And it broke my. It broke my screen line. Ravens eight and a half over, under 40, one and a half. [01:33:48] Speaker A: Ravens might get that by themselves. [01:33:50] Speaker B: 30 to 10. Here we go. [01:33:53] Speaker A: All right. And so the last thing we need here is a player to watch. Bone, we'll start with you. I think I know who you're going. Well, maybe not. You named two of them, so. Oh, who are you going with? [01:34:01] Speaker E: I'll go back to. Yeah, let's go back to Carson. Carson Sweatinger. You already kind of alluded to it about him spying. Lamar, he always runs all over us. You think you got him and then he just runs for a first down. So I feel like he had one. [01:34:12] Speaker A: Time he had to poop and he came back. [01:34:14] Speaker E: Yeah, he came back and still beat us. [01:34:15] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:34:16] Speaker E: But, yeah, I think Carson's got the athleticism to. To maybe contain him, Lamar, So hopefully he has a big game again. [01:34:23] Speaker A: I like that, Kenny. No, I'm gonna go with me first. I got Miles Garrett just because I said I'm all in on. On Miles Garrett getting the sack record. So that's who I'm gonna be watching the entire season. Might not be my player to watch every week, but that's who it is this week. And you're probably not getting much out of anybody else. So just watch Miles Garrett or Kenny. I was gonna go back to bone go again. [01:34:46] Speaker B: We know. [01:34:46] Speaker A: Who cares what you think? [01:34:48] Speaker B: Thunder's not adding anything important here. In fact, I'm not. I'm still on Shador watch, so there's nothing worth watching on this team. You can root for Miles to break the sack record or whatever. We can have the single most dominant defender in the history of the league. And you know what? It's got getting this team three wins. Three wins. [01:35:07] Speaker A: Good stuff. [01:35:07] Speaker B: They're a joke. [01:35:08] Speaker A: Yeah. All right. [01:35:11] Speaker B: That's what I got. [01:35:12] Speaker A: All right, so it's time for another edition of. Can we talk about this? Kenny, I like that you act surprised here, because we use this segment when. When somebody has something they feel needs. [01:35:29] Speaker B: To be explored further. [01:35:31] Speaker A: And, Kenny, you have something for us today, but you were surprised by this. This segment. So what do you got? [01:35:37] Speaker B: Can we talk about this? [01:35:39] Speaker A: I don't know. You gotta tell me what it is. [01:35:40] Speaker B: We're gonna talk about Dwayne Roberts. [01:35:43] Speaker A: Dwayne Roberts. Of course. [01:35:46] Speaker B: I'll tell you about Dwayne Roberts. In the 1950s, his family owned a small meat wholesaler called the Meat Hole. His family owned a small meat hole. [01:35:58] Speaker D: Go on. [01:35:59] Speaker B: His family owned a small meat wholesaler called the Butcher Boy. They sold patties to local restaurants, and they were looking to diversify their operation. And a butcher who worked at the company made the suggestion, why don't you make a burrito? Dwayne experimented in the kitchen for two days straight to get the burrito right. And thus was born the frozen burrito. [01:36:27] Speaker E: Whoa. [01:36:29] Speaker B: Its sales helped expand the family business from one plant with 60 workers to six plants with over 1400 workers. He made millions off of the product and eventually sold the company to central soya in 1980. At the time, the company was generating $80 million in annual sales and producing 1 million burritos per day. Dwayne Roberts, the inventor of the frozen burrito, died peacefully in his sleep last week at the age of 88. A great American and dare I say hero. Rest in peace. [01:37:01] Speaker A: Dwayne, you dare? [01:37:03] Speaker B: I do dare. [01:37:04] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:37:05] Speaker B: The guy invented the frozen burrito. [01:37:07] Speaker E: What's the brand that like his name, all of them attached to? [01:37:10] Speaker B: Well, he was the first. For their very first frozen burrito. So every frozen burrito in existence today is templated off of. Okay, Mr. Dwayne Roberts. [01:37:19] Speaker A: So early on they probably just brand labeled for everybody. They probably just made them and then sold them to everybody. [01:37:23] Speaker B: Yeah, he made his own. He ran something. The Mission In I think is like the brand name that they were packaged under initially and then they eventually sold that. But then he still had Mission In, I think was. [01:37:33] Speaker E: Yeah, Mission is still a frozen burrito brand. I'm pretty confident. [01:37:37] Speaker B: So yeah, I'm not sure if they're. [01:37:38] Speaker A: Ex bone nose frozen burrito brands, but. [01:37:40] Speaker B: I just thought it was worth mentioning because who doesn't love a frozen burrito? I mean, of all the things that have been invented in American history, it's not Americana, it's Mexicana. [01:37:49] Speaker A: But it's Americana, it's Mexican, it's me. I can't. [01:37:55] Speaker B: The guy's a certified American hero. That's all I can say. [01:37:58] Speaker A: Mexicana, Americana. Like we made it American. Here's the deal. Salsa is the number one condiment in the United States. And it's because. Because of the frozen burrito. [01:38:10] Speaker B: There you go. [01:38:13] Speaker A: So hats off to Dwayne Roberts. [01:38:14] Speaker B: Hats off to American hero Dwayne Roberts. [01:38:17] Speaker A: Absolutely. We can talk about that. And we did. [01:38:20] Speaker B: We did. [01:38:20] Speaker A: Talked about. And with that, I think it's time for another edition of Gasta. [01:38:26] Speaker B: Oh boy, this is going to get exciting. [01:38:33] Speaker A: So if, if can we talk about this Wasn't enough. You informed me that you also have a gassed up that you would like to do this week. [01:38:39] Speaker B: I do, I do. [01:38:40] Speaker A: What do you have for us? [01:38:41] Speaker B: I'm excited about this one. Go ahead, go ahead and flip the. The screen there, Bone. [01:38:45] Speaker A: The hell is that? [01:38:47] Speaker B: Go ahead and describe for our listeners what you're viewing right now. [01:38:50] Speaker A: I don't know. Bone took it off the screen. Back it up. [01:38:52] Speaker E: It disappeared on me. [01:38:53] Speaker A: Oh, dang. Back it up a little bit. [01:38:58] Speaker B: This segment is going well. [01:39:00] Speaker A: We got two Cokes stacked on top of each other. [01:39:04] Speaker B: Two Coke cans stacked on top. [01:39:06] Speaker E: It's the vanishing video. [01:39:08] Speaker A: That's fine. Click it again. [01:39:12] Speaker B: So this week some news broke. [01:39:16] Speaker A: Yeah, okay. [01:39:17] Speaker B: Very sad news about A marriage that has ended in divorce. [01:39:23] Speaker A: It's never good. [01:39:25] Speaker B: Former NFL lineman Matt Kal and his wife Haley K L, also known as Haley Bailey. I think she was a former. [01:39:37] Speaker A: That sounds like a WWE star, Miss. [01:39:39] Speaker B: America contestant, fashion influencer. I think she was on the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition when they did like a contest of like new amateur models or something. So fairly well known. And this relationship has been in the news. They've been in a lot of red carpet events. Events and things. And appeared to have a very happy, successful, kind of storybook marriage. Well, let me tell you, things went south. [01:40:12] Speaker A: How so? [01:40:14] Speaker B: And Haley opened up this week recently on a podcast about exactly what went wrong. And she pointed to intimacy problems. [01:40:27] Speaker A: Oh, okay. [01:40:28] Speaker B: Stemming from physical incompatibility that made no. [01:40:34] Speaker A: Way he was too big. [01:40:36] Speaker B: Sexual relations painful. Painful and unsustainable. The couple sought medical and therapeutic solutions. Couples therapy, medical consultations, and even explored surgical procedures and options without success. The accumulation of failed attempts eventually exhausted any possibility of saving the marriage. Haley described Matt as, in her words, extremely large. 0.001% of the population. Like two Coke cans stacked on top of each other. [01:41:16] Speaker A: That does sound like the most painful thing ever. [01:41:21] Speaker B: Are you envisioning being penetrated by a man with a giant dong? [01:41:25] Speaker A: No, I'm just saying that sounds awful for anybody involved. [01:41:29] Speaker B: I guess the good news is that. [01:41:30] Speaker A: Sounds awful for having that. Like you have to carry that around. [01:41:33] Speaker B: I guess the good news is for you guys, there are some women that still prefer small peens. [01:41:38] Speaker A: That's good news for me. [01:41:39] Speaker E: Just one co can. [01:41:40] Speaker B: Just one co can. I mean, how do you get to that point? [01:41:46] Speaker A: Point. [01:41:47] Speaker B: Like did they. She never saw it before they got married. Like. [01:41:53] Speaker E: I guess it's just like, yo, I kind of want to be married to this NFL player. Like I'm gonna put up with it for a while. [01:42:00] Speaker D: I don't know. [01:42:02] Speaker A: This is the most terrifying thing I've ever stared at. [01:42:07] Speaker B: They literally got divorced cuz his peen was too big. [01:42:11] Speaker E: That's a wild. [01:42:13] Speaker B: Extremely large. [01:42:14] Speaker A: This is a problem that none of us will ever have. [01:42:18] Speaker E: Well, I could definitely see how this could cause some marital conflict. You know, bad sex life is. Is a large precursor to true. To divorce. [01:42:29] Speaker B: Very true. [01:42:29] Speaker A: That's very true. [01:42:30] Speaker B: But how often do you hear that one? [01:42:32] Speaker E: I never heard it before. [01:42:34] Speaker B: The wiener was too big. [01:42:36] Speaker A: Well, I guess if he's 0.0001%. That's how often you hear it is 0.001% of the time. [01:42:44] Speaker B: I think like you would think being outed for this would kind of be a good. A good thing. Right. But I think it's dangerous because now you're going to get all kinds of size queens. Just you know the ones that just want to try it out. That you know he's going to have a hard time dating. I think in the future. [01:42:59] Speaker A: It depends on where he is in his life. If that's what he wants then. [01:43:02] Speaker B: Well. He's already been offered over $300,000 to appear in adult cinema. [01:43:08] Speaker A: 300,000? That's it. I thought it would have been offered more. [01:43:11] Speaker B: They don't pay men a lot in that industry. It's a pretty good job. [01:43:14] Speaker A: 0001% comes with a lot of perks. I see what you did there. I see what you did there. That was. That was good. [01:43:24] Speaker B: So anyway I just. I was. I was pretty gassed up about that because I hadn't heard that one before. I thought it was worse. [01:43:30] Speaker A: Were you gassed up because you're like. I've never even experienced anybody saying that mine was remotely too big. Or were you gassed up because you were like there's no way could be this big. [01:43:43] Speaker B: Mostly the fact that it was that big was. Was impressive. And. And secondly I just hadn't heard that. I've never heard a woman get to get to that level. Right. I mean look, if you run in certain circles you hear some things. [01:43:59] Speaker A: I don't even know what that means. [01:44:03] Speaker B: Just that you know sexual. Sexual relations could be uncomfortable with a. [01:44:07] Speaker A: Sexual relations with a. [01:44:08] Speaker B: With a bull. But I've never heard it actually end a marriage before. [01:44:14] Speaker A: This one did. [01:44:15] Speaker B: This one did. Yeah. [01:44:17] Speaker A: Fair. [01:44:17] Speaker B: I just thought it was an interesting. [01:44:18] Speaker A: Visual for everybody out there just to. Coke cans make this make sense to everybody and why this is something that. That Kenny regularly probably would think of because he was a sexual education minor. That's true. College reproductive health we call it. Yeah. And so. So you know he. He's very interested by these types of things that. And he's a sex addict. So. Sure. Or at least he told our college class that one time. [01:44:41] Speaker B: But that was for a persuasive speech and I was persuasive. [01:44:45] Speaker A: They all believed you. They were. They were checking in on you the rest of the semester. So. [01:44:49] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:44:50] Speaker A: Job accomplished. Mission accomplished. [01:44:53] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:44:53] Speaker B: There you go. Anyway. That was gassed up. [01:44:55] Speaker A: You were more guessed up than most. But it's still wild. I just. I can't wait till we get this picture off the screen of two Coke can stacked on top. [01:45:03] Speaker B: It's funny now because like as this. Now this has happened. More and more stories are coming out about, like, how that dude was just like. Like, it was well known in NFL circle. I mean, obviously this guy's dressed together. And it was kind of like, what. [01:45:13] Speaker A: Stories are you looking up? [01:45:15] Speaker B: No, like, these are, like, stories run on mainstream news now because they're like. Now they're asking former teammates, like, hey, this dude have a hog? And they're like, oh, you wouldn't believe the hog this dude has. [01:45:29] Speaker A: If that story came across my computer, I would not click on it to read it. Why are you reading all these? It was big news. [01:45:38] Speaker E: For the segment. [01:45:39] Speaker B: Big news. This is show research. [01:45:42] Speaker A: All right, guys, let's get into King of the North. This guy's probably the King of the North. [01:45:48] Speaker B: I would know for him. [01:46:02] Speaker A: You ready, Kenny? [01:46:03] Speaker B: I'm ready. [01:46:04] Speaker A: All right. All right. In case anyone doesn't know by now, this is our year long AFC north pickup competition. At the end of the season, whoever comes in last place gets punished. In the preseason two years ago, Kenny had a gross of eggs thrown at him by fans in the muni lot before a game. In the preseason last year, Kenny had his hair and beard shaved clean off. A few weeks ago for losing. This past season, Kenny donned the pads for the first time in almost 20 years and got hit three times by our boy Big John Hughes. Just fucked you up. [01:46:30] Speaker B: Yes, he did. [01:46:32] Speaker A: And this year, whoever loses will be getting a Brazilian wax. Kenny, you're well behind. Are you excited for this? [01:46:40] Speaker B: I don't know. What is it with this show and hair removal? We're gonna stop. We gotta stop doing that. [01:46:44] Speaker C: We're gonna. [01:46:44] Speaker A: We will never stop until you're a complete naked Moran. All right? So let's get into it. First things first, I want to remind everyone that Bone is the reigning defending King of the North. [01:46:56] Speaker B: If I'm a naked mole rat, Matt Kil is like a naked possum. [01:47:02] Speaker A: All right? And as always, Kenny's a clown. So thank you. [01:47:06] Speaker B: Thank you. [01:47:07] Speaker A: Let me remind everyone of current standings after week two ten, bone is at 19 and 13. I'm at 18 and 14. John's at 17 and 15. Everyone's above 500 except for Kenny. [01:47:16] Speaker B: I don't even know how we got here. [01:47:17] Speaker A: How's. Not even close. At 13 and 19, how did we get here? You're really bad at picking games. You're the worst. You're bad at. You're bad at picking competitions. You're bad at fantasy football. Like, you just should not do anything football related. [01:47:32] Speaker B: Besides, every week we do this segment And I give the most thoughtful responses out of anyone on the show. [01:47:37] Speaker A: That's the problem. You're thinking. [01:47:38] Speaker E: You. You're really, really good at football commentary. Persuasive speech. [01:47:45] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:47:45] Speaker A: Yeah. There we go. Let's. Let's go ahead and get into this week's games. Just two games this week. [01:47:50] Speaker B: I just don't have the hog to compete. Nope. [01:47:52] Speaker A: Two games this week does not bode well for you, Kenny. [01:47:56] Speaker B: If I get him right, it does. [01:47:57] Speaker E: I'm guessing we're all picking the same. [01:47:59] Speaker A: Yeah, I. I believe you're probably right. First up here, Pittsburgh host hosts the Bengals. Kenny, we're going to start with you. [01:48:11] Speaker B: Pittsburgh hosts the Bengals. [01:48:15] Speaker A: Joe flacco throws for 450 yards. [01:48:18] Speaker B: Yeah, this is. The Bengals are really bad, though. Bengals are really bad. They lost to the Jets. We lost to the Jets. We're really bad. I'll go Steelers. [01:48:27] Speaker A: I'm with you. I'm going. I'm going. Pittsburgh. It's a division game at home. They don't really lose a lot of those, so. [01:48:33] Speaker B: And got to win enough to be 500. So. [01:48:35] Speaker A: Yeah, fair. And this is one of those games. Like, there's a game they're supposed to win, they'll win it. John, who you got? [01:48:40] Speaker F: First one is Cincinnati taking on Steelers in Pittsburgh. And this one's a true AFC north type of energy game. It's going to be gritty, cold, and personal. The Bengals are fresh off a buy, trying to bounce back after that. A few games slip away, and the Steelers are trying to regroup after an ugly loss last week. Both teams know what this. This means for the division. Division. We have pride, playoff stakes, and, you know, everything's on the line right now for these teams. For Cincinnati, it starts with tightening up the defense and trying to find some rhythm early on offense. And for Pittsburgh, it's just staying patient, finishing drives and letting the defense do what it does best. I think it comes down to who owns the trenches. And at the end of the day, I'm going to give this one to Pittsburgh at home. [01:49:27] Speaker A: All right. And bone who you got. [01:49:29] Speaker E: Yeah, Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh's not getting swept by the Bengals this year. [01:49:32] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:49:33] Speaker E: Pittsburgh at home. [01:49:34] Speaker A: Fair. Fair. The next step, obviously, the Browns are hosting the Ravens. I'll go first. I got the Ravens. I said it earlier. What was my. My quote in our preview? Kevin still a coach. Bubba Ventura is our special teams coordinator and Dylan Gabriel is our quarterback. And if you didn't tell me anything else, I would say we lose every game forever. So fair. The Ravens are going to win my score 31 to. I was generous. I gave us 15. 31 to 15. So, John, who you got? [01:50:03] Speaker F: All right, guys. And last up, we have Baltimore Ravens taking on the Browns in Cleveland this week. And honestly, this game feels like a fight for respect. Cleveland's been hot and cold this whole year. They've shown flashes but can't seem to do anything consistently. The Ravens, on the other hand, they look settled. Lamar's playing smooth with his few games back. The offense is balanced and the defense looks like it's fast and confident again. I think the Browns defense keeps it close, but with Baltimore's experience and poise will eventually take over. And the Ravens just have a more complete team right now. So I've got the Baltimore Ravens winning this one with the score Ravens 27, Cleveland 17. [01:50:48] Speaker A: Bone. [01:50:50] Speaker E: Baltimore 38 to 12. [01:50:54] Speaker A: Wow, they're almost putting 40 on us. Kenny might pick 40. So, Ken, Kenny, who you got? [01:51:02] Speaker B: Look, I wrote down Ravens, but I probably need to make a defensive pick here. [01:51:06] Speaker A: You probably can't at this point. [01:51:08] Speaker B: I gotta try and at least get back to.500. So I'm respectable. I'll go Ravens. [01:51:13] Speaker A: Yeah, nothing worse than getting a Brazilian wax under 500. [01:51:16] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. Browns seems awful. They're not gonna win any more games this year. Besides, I mean, you got Tennessee on the schedule and Las Vegas. Those are maybe pick them. Outside of that, the Browns aren't going to win another game. So I'll go Ravens 44 16. [01:51:34] Speaker A: Dang, this is going to be awful to watch this weekend. [01:51:36] Speaker B: I mean, somebody has to help Jimmy make this decision. And I am counting on Baltimore this week. [01:51:41] Speaker A: Just put us out of our misery. [01:51:42] Speaker B: Making a statement and being like this team, yo, you ass. [01:51:47] Speaker A: Yeah, put us out of our misery. Baltimore. You know what it takes two can fact four days. Okay, what do you got for us today? [01:53:47] Speaker B: All right, here's the thing, Zal. You know I've mailed it in for the season. [01:53:53] Speaker A: This is it. [01:53:53] Speaker B: Whalefax. [01:53:55] Speaker A: Whalefax. Is it Whalefax time? [01:53:56] Speaker B: It's whalefax time. [01:53:59] Speaker A: It's the return of Whalefax. [01:54:01] Speaker B: The Browns have beaten me down so badly that I'm just gonna give the people bone. [01:54:04] Speaker A: Are you turn. [01:54:05] Speaker E: He's giving us what we want. [01:54:06] Speaker B: Give the people what they want. [01:54:08] Speaker A: Hell yes. You guys are not gonna be disappointed. [01:54:10] Speaker E: I don't know about the people, but just me and Ronnie. [01:54:12] Speaker A: It's time for whale facts. Kenny. Let's hear them. Let's hear them. [01:54:17] Speaker B: So stupid. These aren't even good facts. They better be number one blue whales. Blue whales don't have teeth. They have baleen, a fibrous used to filter their food. When eating, the whale lets a huge volume of water and krill into its mouth. It then pushes the water through its 3 to 400 baleen plates, which trap krill to the tune of 40 million each day. [01:54:53] Speaker A: Hell yes. That's incredible. So many. [01:54:58] Speaker E: Keep them coming. [01:55:00] Speaker A: That's so much krill. [01:55:01] Speaker B: Number two. [01:55:05] Speaker C: At birth. [01:55:06] Speaker B: Blue whale calves measure around 25ft long. [01:55:13] Speaker A: Oh. [01:55:14] Speaker B: And weigh nearly 9, 000 pounds. [01:55:17] Speaker A: That's an incredible fact. For a second, the way you worded that, I thought you were going to say that they measured that many feet around. [01:55:23] Speaker B: I didn't get a circumference. Next time. They weigh nearly not £9,000. And they grow quickly. For seven to eight months these bulky babies suckle on their mother's rich fatty milk and gain around £200 per day. [01:55:43] Speaker A: What? [01:55:47] Speaker B: What you think a blue whale. A full size grown. [01:55:49] Speaker A: Wait. [01:55:50] Speaker B: Blue whale is up to 90ft long. [01:55:52] Speaker A: Wait a second. [01:55:52] Speaker B: Okay. [01:55:53] Speaker A: Wait. [01:55:53] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:55:54] Speaker E: He's only 25ft. At that point he's got a lot. [01:55:56] Speaker B: Of weight to grow. [01:55:57] Speaker A: Literally grow an entire bone every. Every day for seven months. No way. I guess. Oh my God. You said these weren't even that good. This is fantastic. [01:56:13] Speaker E: Wow. [01:56:14] Speaker B: Number three. [01:56:15] Speaker A: That's one of the craziest things I ever heard in my life. [01:56:18] Speaker B: Stupid. Whales are among the longest living animals. Wait, hang on. [01:56:23] Speaker A: You did it. I'm lightheaded. I need a second. [01:56:26] Speaker B: Okay. Go gather yourself. Yeah, yourself. Whales are among the longest living mammals. Scientists estimate bowhead whales. A baleen whale found in the Arctic. Can live for more baleen. [01:56:38] Speaker A: I know what that is. [01:56:39] Speaker B: Now than 200 years. Killer whales. A toothed whale. [01:56:45] Speaker A: Thank you for clarifying. [01:56:46] Speaker B: Found in various habitats. [01:56:47] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:56:48] Speaker B: Regularly live for more than 100 years. [01:56:53] Speaker A: Dang. [01:56:53] Speaker E: Free Willy lived to be 100 years. [01:56:56] Speaker A: Probably not. He was in captivity for a while. [01:56:58] Speaker B: They live for a long time in captivity because they're shielded from predators. [01:57:01] Speaker A: That's fair. But usually in captivity you live less time because it's not natural environments. [01:57:06] Speaker B: Probably a lot of 80 and 90 year old whales out there that become shark food. Yeah. [01:57:10] Speaker A: You got to be faster than the slowest whale. [01:57:13] Speaker B: A lot like King of the north. [01:57:14] Speaker A: Yeah. Except killer whales actually attack sharks most of the time. So. [01:57:18] Speaker B: And number four, Whale pains. Second largest peen on the planet. Second to Max Killio. [01:57:28] Speaker A: What a way to close out facts for days. [01:57:32] Speaker B: Man. [01:57:32] Speaker A: You really did it to us. This was a good. This was the best facts for days we've had all season. [01:57:37] Speaker E: That was great. [01:57:38] Speaker A: I can't wait to one day put it. Put together a complete montage, like an hour long montage of all the whale facts that we have. [01:57:46] Speaker B: Good. [01:57:46] Speaker A: Good for you. This was incredible. It was. This made the whole show worth it. [01:57:52] Speaker E: I don't even think I'm going to sleep tonight. [01:57:54] Speaker A: I'm gonna stay up and look up more whale facts. [01:57:57] Speaker B: Please do. Then I don't have to Bring them to you. [01:57:59] Speaker A: This is the Tom Graves Show. [01:58:01] Speaker E: It's not the greatest. [01:58:03] Speaker A: It's not time to sing yet. Bone, are you ready for bed? Show. [01:58:06] Speaker E: Yeah, I'm gonna try to put myself to sleep. [01:58:09] Speaker A: You might not be able to, though, because whale facts. [01:58:12] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:58:12] Speaker E: Bon appetit, guys. Whale facts got me all excited. [01:58:17] Speaker B: Bone is hard. [01:58:18] Speaker F: Hard, bone. [01:58:19] Speaker B: Bones are hard. [01:58:20] Speaker A: Hard as a bone. [01:58:20] Speaker B: Hard as a bone. Don't just be a part of the problem. Be the whole damn problem. [01:58:23] Speaker A: And only you can prevent river fires burning rivers. This is the Tom Green Show. [01:58:31] Speaker B: It's not the Green Tom Show. It is my favorite show. [01:58:36] Speaker E: Because it is my show. [01:58:37] Speaker B: Because it is my show. [01:58:39] Speaker A: Good night, Cleveland. [01:58:40] Speaker B: Good night, Cleveland. [01:58:41] Speaker E: Good night, Akron. [01:58:43] Speaker A: Quiet on set. I now have two loves in my life. Big city living and a voodoo woman named Phyllis. I didn't think we'd be getting into Brad Pitt's ass. [01:58:56] Speaker B: I can't even say I didn't think we'd be getting into Brad Pitt's ass. [01:59:00] Speaker A: Yeah, didn't think we'd get in there. [01:59:02] Speaker B: We talk a lot of analingus on this show. [01:59:05] Speaker A: So put your right foot in and take your right foot out. Then put your right foot in and shut the hell up. Because it's not time for the hokey pokey. It's time for the burning River Sports. Ca. [01:59:15] Speaker G: Motor boat. You play the motorboat. [01:59:19] Speaker A: You motorboat? Son of a. [01:59:21] Speaker B: You old seal. Are you.
