Show Notes

Welcome back to another season of emotional damage! Season 5 of the Burning River Sportscast kicks off with Kenny Thunder, Ronnie Jams, and The Bone Man attempting to process the latest chapter in Cleveland Browns existential dread.

In This Episode:

  • Sponsor Spotlight & Free Stuff: We raise a glass of Towpath Distillery to numb the pain, dissect a viral national anthem clip, and announce how you can win an autographed Bernie Kosar jersey—because clinging to the 1980s is still our primary coping mechanism.

  • The Post-Myles Reality Check: Life after trading Myles Garrett to the Rams. Can Jared Verse, Carson Schwesinger, and Mason Graham fill the void, or will opposing quarterbacks have enough time back there to comfortably file their taxes?

  • O-Line Overhaul: Rookie Spencer Fano takes over at left tackle under new coach George Warhop. We evaluate whether this revamped unit can actually protect a quarterback, or if they’re just dynamic turnstiles.

  • The Great QB Circus: Todd Monken’s first-team rep distribution is giving us heartburn. We break down the Deshaun Watson, Shedeur Sanders, and Dylan Gabriel battle—and react to EA Sports Madden 27 insulting both Watson and Sanders with identical 69 overall ratings.

  • Nostalgic Regret: A brief, highly rational moment of wishing Baker Mayfield was still holding down the fort.

  • Over/Under 5.5 Wins: The boys lay their dignity on the line to predict if the 2026 Browns can somehow smash expectations and win an astounding six whole games.

Grab a drink, lower your expectations, and hit play!

All this and so much more and we break it all down for you right here on the Burning River Sportscast!

The moment we've all been waiting for is finally here. Football season is upon us and what an off season it has been for the Browns. First we went out with grit and determination and captured the number one prize at head coach, the guy every team had on their RA radar as the clear cut, consensus number one option. Then we excised the cancer that was Jim Schwartz, the guy that was single handedly dragging down this franchise for the last several years and we finally have a shot at a championship caliber defense. Next we cut the deadweight that was an aging deficit at defensive end, brought in a younger, more talented player and created tremendous cap flexibility in the process. Jador Sanders changed his number to reflect perpetual position on the depth chart and we're all wet with the anticipation to see the resurgence of desean Watson who is sure to take the league by storm this year and work his way into a long term contract extension finally, finally cementing the quarterback position for the Browns over the next several years. We're all just so doggone excited, right? [00:02:20] Ronnie Jams: Woohoo. [00:02:22] Kenny Thunder: We'll break it all down for you next on the Burning River Sportscast. [00:02:36] The Bone Man: Are these ladies known at all by anybody? [00:02:38] Ronnie Jams: What? You okay over there? [00:02:43] Kenny Thunder: Kicker and running back? You really need your legs for both of those. [00:02:47] Ronnie Jams: If you don't have them, you might [00:02:50] Kenny Thunder: say he's lost a step. [00:02:53] Ronnie Jams: See this is. [00:02:54] Kenny Thunder: I'm a little gassed up right now. [00:02:55] The Bone Man: Little Brown's talk. [00:02:56] Kenny Thunder: I'm a little gassed up. [00:02:57] Ronnie Jams: Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. [00:02:58] Kenny Thunder: It's been a long awesome. [00:02:59] Ronnie Jams: Thunder is back. He's back baby. [00:03:01] Kenny Thunder: Yeah. [00:03:02] Ronnie Jams: Coming into off season workouts, Mary Kay Cabot was telling everybody they just need to name DeSean Watson the starter already because he's that much better. And then fast forward like a week and she's like, [00:03:14] Kenny Thunder: Mary Kay voice. [00:03:17] Ronnie Jams: The Browns actually wanted me to say this. [00:03:19] Kenny Thunder: Todd Monken to me has already failed test number one. [00:03:23] Ronnie Jams: Like, are you fucking kidding me? That dude sucks. [00:03:26] Bobby D: That's what Cliff. Cliff was with me for four days. [00:03:30] Kenny Thunder: Was that too long? [00:03:31] Ronnie Jams: You guys have a lot of margaritas. [00:03:34] The Bone Man: That's what I was just gonna say. You guys immediately insulted him. [00:03:38] Kenny Thunder: Just when you think you're friends, we're like, no. [00:03:41] The Bone Man: Ah, sex life question. [00:03:43] Ronnie Jams: That's what did it. Yeah. [00:03:45] The Bone Man: Says teeny weeny. Kenny Chesney is a teeny weeny person. [00:03:50] Ronnie Jams: He really is. I literally shit my brains out. [00:03:56] Kenny Thunder: Welcome into this 250th year of America and the premier of season five of the Burning River Sportscast. [00:04:34] The Bone Man: Oh, it's been really good. I've been working on a bathroom. [00:04:37] Kenny Thunder: Yeah. If you feel good about the start of the season. [00:04:40] The Bone Man: Not really, no. [00:04:42] Ronnie Jams: It's a good start. [00:04:43] Kenny Thunder: Did you see John Cena was in a new porno? [00:04:45] The Bone Man: I didn't see. [00:04:46] Ronnie Jams: No, you can't see him. [00:04:47] Kenny Thunder: That's how you know he was in it. Back to red hot. Where can our listeners find the dopest dope they ever heard on a podcast? So sit down and shut your mouth when you're talking to me, because it's time for the Burning river sports cast. Now let's get things started with the Burning river news story of the week. What are you doing? [00:05:58] Kenny Thunder: You tricked me. [00:06:03] Ronnie Jams: What did you think we were doing? [00:06:05] Kenny Thunder: You said it's time for the Burning river sportscast. I thought you were saying it's time for the Burning river news story of the week. [00:06:11] Ronnie Jams: No. Now it's time for the Burning river news story of the week. Kenny, what do you got for me? [00:06:17] Kenny Thunder: Sounder? So I don't know if you guys saw this or not. You might have. You might have seen it, but we're gonna play this here. I probably should have done more research on, like, what the news story is behind this, but if you haven't heard this, here at Burning River Sportscast, we [00:06:42] Ronnie Jams: just kick off season five doing what we've always done, completely winging it. [00:06:45] Kenny Thunder: There's something that happened. There's a new women's baseball league or something. [00:06:49] Ronnie Jams: Okay. [00:06:50] Kenny Thunder: Professional. I don't know if it's softball or women's professional baseball. [00:06:55] Ronnie Jams: You know nothing. [00:06:56] Kenny Thunder: Okay, I know nothing about the actual news story. But what I do know, okay, Jon Snow, is that there a striking rendition of our nation's anthem that if you haven't heard it, everyone needs to just sit down and listen to this. [00:07:07] The Bone Man: I'm ready. [00:07:08] Ronnie Jams: Oh, say can you see by the dawn's early light what so proudly we hail at the twilight last gleaming Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight all the Ras we watched Were so callously streaming and the rocket red glare the bombs bursting in air Gave proof in the night that our flag was still there still there oh, sa. O the land of the free and the home of the brave. [00:08:27] Kenny Thunder: Okay. [00:08:28] Ronnie Jams: Oh, my God. [00:08:31] Kenny Thunder: You had to sit through the whole thing to get the. Get the whole thing. [00:08:33] Ronnie Jams: That lady just went rogue, man. They're all trying to harmonize. She's like, [00:08:40] The Bone Man: are these ladies known at all by anybody? [00:08:43] Kenny Thunder: I have no idea. I should have done more research [00:08:47] The Bone Man: on [00:08:47] Kenny Thunder: who these people were or what it is. But what I can tell you is that the camera cuts to the audience, like, immediately. People were like, is this a joke? The people were just laughing. The Players are laughing. No one knows what's going on. They're like, what is happening right now? [00:09:02] Ronnie Jams: I can only think of two things. One, her hearing aid went out. [00:09:06] The Bone Man: Yeah, that's a good point. [00:09:08] Ronnie Jams: Or two, someone's been lying to this woman for 85 years. [00:09:12] Kenny Thunder: Like, what? [00:09:15] Ronnie Jams: Why did just the one go rogue, though? Like, the other. The other two are. I can't even see the video on it. It seems to me like the other two are looking at her like, what is she doing? [00:09:23] Kenny Thunder: Well, and at one point, they both kind of stopped and they were kind of egging her. [00:09:26] Ronnie Jams: I like the staccato. [00:09:27] Kenny Thunder: Do it herself when she just stopped in the middle of it, like, she forgot the words for a second. Like, I don't even know happened there. But it was some kind of professional women's softball inaugural event, and it was the first national anthem at said event. And wow. Needless to say, it did not go all that well. [00:09:47] Ronnie Jams: Swinging a miss. [00:09:49] Kenny Thunder: I mean, we've all heard, like, bad renditions of the National Anthem. And there's. It's always the talk of, like, big sporting events, like, oh, it wasn't up to par or whatever, but, like, that one was special. [00:09:59] The Bone Man: Yeah, it was really bad. [00:10:01] Ronnie Jams: It was at least entertaining. Like, some of them are like. Like, that was so bad. [00:10:04] Bobby D: It was good. [00:10:06] The Bone Man: It was good. [00:10:07] Bobby D: No, no. [00:10:08] Ronnie Jams: Not, like, it wasn't good at all, but, like, it was so bad. I laughed the entire time. Like. Like, most time when you get a bad rendition of the National Anthem, it's like, what is happening? [00:10:17] Kenny Thunder: Like, that was just really something. [00:10:19] The Bone Man: So anyway, how many times have you listened to that? [00:10:22] Ronnie Jams: I enjoyed it. [00:10:23] Kenny Thunder: That was my third time because I had to let the wife listen first. [00:10:26] Ronnie Jams: I'm gonna give you time because I'm gonna have to. I'm gonna have to make the wife listen as well. So. [00:10:31] Kenny Thunder: Yeah. So that was fun. [00:10:32] Ronnie Jams: Well, that's how we're kicking off season five, everybody, with the National Anthem. [00:10:35] Kenny Thunder: That. [00:10:37] Ronnie Jams: Let me get into our next giveaway here. I'm gonna hold this up. [00:10:41] Kenny Thunder: Time for a giveaway. [00:10:42] Bobby D: Yeah. [00:10:42] Kenny Thunder: It's a brand new season and a new giveaway. [00:10:44] Ronnie Jams: Yeah. So for the fourth year in a row, we are giving away some autograph Browns memorabilia. [00:10:47] Kenny Thunder: This. Did we not give anything away during the first season? [00:10:50] Ronnie Jams: No, we didn't. [00:10:50] Kenny Thunder: No. That's. Bad job out of us. [00:10:52] Ronnie Jams: Yeah. This will be kicking off season five for us. Trying to have some more throughout the season as well. But this year, it's a big one to kick things off. Bernie Kar autograph jersey here. So listen I know in the past we've done kind of just. Just for our YouTube subscribers. We're opening this up to everybody. [00:11:31] Kenny Thunder: So we'll see how bad the Browns are and if they start out losing and how quickly people lo interest. [00:11:36] Ronnie Jams: Yeah, we'll see. So. No. And one more thing before we get to the Browns. Let me remind everybody, call the call. Leave your hot takes on the hot take hotline. We want hot takes. [00:12:03] Kenny Thunder: We want hot takes. We want hot takes. [00:12:04] Ronnie Jams: 330-227-8081 new year, same hot takes. [00:12:07] Kenny Thunder: 302-278-0813, 202-2780, 813-302-2781. [00:12:14] Ronnie Jams: Call now. We're not. Yeah, nobody will answer. [00:12:18] The Bone Man: Just call now. [00:12:18] Ronnie Jams: But you'll leave a voicemail. Speaking of hot takes, it's time for the Burning river rundown. All right, so obviously we're just getting back to break. [00:12:37] Kenny Thunder: Season 5 is off to a raging start. [00:12:40] Ronnie Jams: I mean, it's a rager for sure. It's a rager, but there's quite a few things happening. You okay over there? Quite a few things happened in the off season, but we did. We had an episode to kind of. [00:12:53] Kenny Thunder: You don't say. [00:12:54] Ronnie Jams: Catch things up after the Miles Garrett trade, because that was some big news. [00:12:57] Kenny Thunder: But, yeah, I mean, potato, potato. Who needs miles? [00:13:00] Ronnie Jams: Yeah, that's what they say. But some real quick housekeeping items. Denzel Ward got an extension. Hooray for Denzel Ward. I don't know if this was quite the. It seemed a little weird for me because he's getting pretty old. [00:13:13] Kenny Thunder: Yeah. I look, I love Zell Tremendous. [00:13:18] Ronnie Jams: One of my favorite Browns because I just have a. You know, I like to watch the corners play because that's what we played. I mean, nobody would know that by the looks of you, but you played corner, so you get it. [00:13:29] Kenny Thunder: It's just, it's just kind of like emblematic of the. [00:13:33] Ronnie Jams: Wait, real quick, hold that thought. What are you down now? [00:13:38] Kenny Thunder: 140 pounds a whole corner. [00:13:42] Ronnie Jams: 140 pounds down and still fat. [00:13:44] Kenny Thunder: It's still fat. [00:13:44] The Bone Man: Strong work, Mr. Thunder. [00:13:47] Kenny Thunder: It's just kind of emblematic of like the broken pay scales in the NFL. Like, I don't know, like Zell's been earning that money his whole career up until now. Right. Like, he was probably worth that money for the last several years. [00:14:00] Ronnie Jams: Yeah. I mean, he's the whole reason they won a game last year and he's [00:14:03] Kenny Thunder: probably on, you know, the, the downside of that now. Like, whereas just, just due to age. [00:14:08] Bobby D: Yeah. [00:14:09] Kenny Thunder: He's not going to get any faster, any stronger really. Right. And now he's going to make the most money. So it's just kind of odd. Like, I don't know. [00:14:17] Ronnie Jams: That was my whole point. It's like, I, I love Zell. I'm glad they resigned him. I'm glad he's probably going to retire Brown. That's all cool, but for a front office that has really seemed to put the emphasis on like younger players getting, getting as much out of a deal as you possibly can, it just seemed really weird. [00:14:35] Kenny Thunder: The only thing that I could think is that, you know, at some point maybe he still is trade bait. And frankly, the way these contracts work now is every time a good player re ups, they make the most money at their position in the history of the NFL. So maybe they're kind of banking on the fact that like you sign Zell to this now and over the next 12 to 18 months, he's still a trade piece because his might actually be more valuable because it's locked in at what it is today versus where the market will be 18 months from now to where he might still just. That might be an enticing contract to somebody that feels like, hey, they're a corner away from the Super Bowl. [00:15:09] Ronnie Jams: Yeah, that's fair. I think some of them might have to do with the fact that like, during the whole Miles Garrett thing, he stayed firm and was like, no, I love Cleveland, Cleveland, Cleveland till I die. [00:15:21] Kenny Thunder: So, I mean, it's good PR for the Browns. [00:15:23] Bobby D: Right. [00:15:23] Kenny Thunder: In an off season that was filled with the miles. [00:15:26] Ronnie Jams: That's what I'm talking about. It's like you, you stood by the Browns during that whole thing and so maybe they're rewarding you as a PR move. [00:15:33] Kenny Thunder: Right. [00:15:34] Ronnie Jams: So good. [00:15:35] Kenny Thunder: Good for Zell. I mean, he's earned every penny. I just don't know that he's going to continue to be worth that going forward. We'll see. We hope he does. [00:15:42] Ronnie Jams: Grant Delpit also got an extension. I didn't pull the numbers on these. It's just like I said, just quick housekeeping that they're going to be with us for a while. They thought about. We think, we think they thought about bringing Clowny back. But unfortunately he decided, he decided the Texans were a better he last year. [00:16:03] Kenny Thunder: But I don't know, like, I wasn't big on that move. I didn't feel like that was going to make the difference for this defense. [00:16:07] The Bone Man: I don't think. I think when he left it was. He was like suspended by the team and it was weird. [00:16:12] Kenny Thunder: It was bad blood. [00:16:13] Ronnie Jams: Well, that's why it's not really surprising that he's quote, unquote, spurn the Browns for, for the Texans. Because it was, it was like, when [00:16:22] Kenny Thunder: it came up, it was odd to me because I was like, I didn't think they left things on a good note. So it was surprising. Now obviously he's. He's a calib. Right. I mean, he's a former. Was he the first overall pick in 2014? [00:16:35] Ronnie Jams: He never played up to that potential, but he was pretty good. [00:16:38] Kenny Thunder: But he's still a really good player. Yeah, but you know, obviously on the back end of his career at this point. So I just, I mean, I'm not brokenhearted about it. [00:16:45] Ronnie Jams: Me neither. And speaking of surprising things that are surprising, in a surprising turn of events, the new stadium will have artificial turf. So I know we've all been big proponents of the new stadium [00:17:00] Kenny Thunder: kind of [00:17:00] Ronnie Jams: throughout this whole process, but this is one thing I'm not going to get behind because it's wild to me that with the trends in the NFL, the way things are going, all the injury data, you're going to go with artificial turf when the players hate it? [00:17:11] Kenny Thunder: I mean, how many guys have to tear out a knee, blow out an Achilles before we're like, we just play this game on grass. [00:17:18] Ronnie Jams: And the funny thing is, I don't know if you guys have been keeping up with this, but like, just in the last probably month or two, the NFL is trying to fight back on this now. And they're like, oh, we. If you look at the studies, there's no discernible difference between grass and turf. And they cherry picked the data that they used in this thing at whatever symposium they put all this information out. There was, there was one season where there was less knee injuries, but what they failed to do is go to the next season, which I'm going to botch these. But it was like 2023 was what they used, let's say. And in 2024, soft tissue injuries went up by like 60%. It was some significant number. And it's like, okay, well, yeah, if you look at that one year, injuries didn't get worse. But if you look at every other year and every other piece of empirical data that's out there, there is significantly more soft tissue injuries on artificial turf versus real grass. [00:18:10] Kenny Thunder: The NFL also denies that the power substation next to the 49ers practice facility has anything to do with their losing [00:18:17] Ronnie Jams: players left, left and right. [00:18:18] Kenny Thunder: So I don't know that their word is worth a whole lot. [00:18:22] Ronnie Jams: You know, I wasn't even gonna go there. How are your, how are your ligaments holding up? [00:18:27] The Bone Man: They're good, but I'm, I'm not in the substation every day. [00:18:29] Ronnie Jams: That's fair. [00:18:31] The Bone Man: It's. [00:18:32] Kenny Thunder: It's odd timing that this was released right now on the heels of the World cup that was here. And there was a lot of conversation around turf and grass. And in the World cup, they refused [00:18:43] Ronnie Jams: to play on artificial turf. Like anywhere. Any site that had artificial turf had to switch it out for real grass for the, for the events. [00:18:50] Kenny Thunder: Yeah, there were a lot of conversations around that during the World Cup. So it's just, just odd timing. I think what it is, is the grass lobby has gotten really powerful. I think they're like, guys, we can't just turn the tide on this now. We've made a lot of fake grass. [00:19:06] Ronnie Jams: It's out there. [00:19:06] Kenny Thunder: We got to sell this. [00:19:07] Ronnie Jams: Sell this. [00:19:08] Kenny Thunder: I mean, literally, like every Podunk high school now has artificial turf. [00:19:12] Ronnie Jams: Our high school, who couldn't get a new field to save their lives, has a brand new artificial turf. And for high school, like, not that I'm advocating it because again, more soft tissue injuries even at that level, but I understand budget wise for high school because there's a higher upfront cost, but over time, like you're not. There's not nearly as much upkeep. [00:19:32] Kenny Thunder: Sure, it makes sense. I think more in that space. First off, the players aren't as big and strong and fast. And secondly, yeah, the maintenance is probably way less on artificial. [00:19:43] Ronnie Jams: Again, still not advocating for it, but I just understand it. [00:19:45] Kenny Thunder: But I mean, literally, we're at a point though, where almost every high school now plays on artificial Turf like the, the. The artificial grass lobby is growing. [00:19:54] Ronnie Jams: Bony had a thought on this. [00:19:55] The Bone Man: I can't believe they're not playing on grass. I don't see how they don't find a way to do it there. Maybe it is just a cost thing or they're just like the products better on artificial turf. I don't, I don't know. [00:20:06] Ronnie Jams: I, I just hope by the time the stadium comes around because the NFL Players association is starting to really push for real grass. I'm hoping that that actually is. [00:20:14] Kenny Thunder: Well, that's what was so surprising is that I would have thought that the NFLPA would have been like, like encouraging them to go to a turf. Like, hey, you're at this brand new stadium. Everything's gonna be beautiful and great. Like, let's get it off on the right foot and at least quell the, the conversation around injuries on turf. [00:20:30] Ronnie Jams: And I know we had a conversation off the air, but I mean, to bring it back to your whole thing. It's a, it's a glass. [00:20:37] Kenny Thunder: It's literally a giant greenhouse. Yeah, yeah. Like you tell me you can't grow. I mean, you made the point during that discussion that like it is 80ft below ground. So it's not like you can't. We own it where they can wheel [00:20:45] Bobby D: it in and out. [00:20:46] Kenny Thunder: Yeah, but it is a giant greenhouse. The stadium looks like a greenh. [00:20:50] The Bone Man: Turn these, they turn these centers over. Like, I mean, you have monster trucks one night, three days later you have a football field. Two days later you have a concert. It's. You know what I mean? [00:20:58] Ronnie Jams: There has to be a way to, to wheel in the grass, like somehow. [00:21:02] Kenny Thunder: Well, what I would say if you [00:21:03] Ronnie Jams: can turn it into other. Like it's a multi use. That's the whole thing. It's a multi use venue. [00:21:09] Kenny Thunder: What I would say is there's a lot of artificial grass on this planet. The only thing that maybe is more numerous than artificial grass is real grass. It's. It's everywhere. [00:21:19] The Bone Man: There's a lot of it out there. [00:21:21] Kenny Thunder: So much of it. Like you can get it anywhere you can reside a field in the day. [00:21:24] Ronnie Jams: Yeah, Yeah. I, I just don't understand because it's. [00:21:28] The Bone Man: I. [00:21:28] Ronnie Jams: Whatever. [00:21:29] The Bone Man: I don't think weeds are an issue inside either. [00:21:31] Kenny Thunder: I mean, it's a giant greenhouse. [00:21:34] Ronnie Jams: I've never really seen many weeds on any NFL field, whether it's inside or out, but that's just me. But anyways, let's get into training camp here. [00:21:44] Kenny Thunder: Pittsburgh. I feels like, I feel like they have weeds usually. [00:21:46] Ronnie Jams: Oh, they're Pieces of. [00:21:47] Bobby D: So [00:21:51] Ronnie Jams: anyways, let's talk about training camp a little bit here. The Browns replaced their entire offensive line in the 2026 off season. You get to spit out your coffee. [00:21:59] The Bone Man: Spit. [00:21:59] Ronnie Jams: Take. So let's just, let's just. I want to recap this real quick. Fano was drafted ninth overall and should begin the season at left tackle. Some of the questions and things that are going on with this offensive line in training camp. Can Fano establish himself at left tackle or will they have to move him eventually? Can Parker Brailsford play center? Drafted him as a center from Alabama, but is that going to work out? Is he actually good enough to play in the NFL? If he is good enough. Well, is that how you say his name? Elgin Elton. I'm just gonna go with Elton. Elton Jenkins moved to right guard. Do the Browns even have a starting caliber center? Nobody knows. And then you got, like I said, Titus Howard. He should be able to anchor, anchor the right tackle position. But again this is. This whole unit is completely revamped. You've got Spencer Fano, Parker Brailsford, Austin Barber. Those were all drafted. They're rookies. And then you got newcomers Zion Johnson, Elton Jenkins. Tevin Jenkins is back. Titus Howard. So yeah, I mean I think the big thing is there's a lot of room for error here. While. While I'm excited because our offensive line has been trash the last few years, I'm excited for the turnover to see new faces. It's going to take a while before this. This line truly meshes. [00:23:14] Kenny Thunder: Yeah, a lot of question marks. Really a lot of question marks on this team. But I think the biggest one is a quarterback which we'll get to here. But. But I think this is an radar one because I think this is so important. We've seen how disruptive a bad offensive line can be for this team for the last several years. Look, it's either going to work or it's not right. I think this if. If Andrew Barry's job hinges on anything, I think it's these five guys. Well, there's like eight guys you named there. But like the guys that end up being the starting five, we had to [00:23:47] Ronnie Jams: get depth pieces too literally because new [00:23:49] Kenny Thunder: offensive line because they did reshuffle the deck here so like they acknowledge it's a problem. Hey, we have to fix it. This is the plan they in place to fix it and it could go really sour really quickly. And this is the type of thing that again can disrupt and destroy your entire season if they can't run the ball and can't protect the quarterback, whoever that may be. So now maybe we've been sleeping on Andrew Barry and he's better than we think. And it was the Stefanski hangover that was during it, dragging this team down. I don't know. But I think this is going to be a litmus test for how good Andrew Barry is. Did he bring in the right guys here? Do the Candy's kids play? [00:24:23] Ronnie Jams: And another thing note with the offensive line is George Warhop is, is now the offensive line coach under Tom Todd Monken. I know there's been a number of guys that have come out, including Joe Thomas, that have said this guy is legit. He's going to get these guys playing. [00:24:41] Bobby D: Right. [00:24:41] Ronnie Jams: He's going to get them doing good things. But I mean, since Bill Callahan left, we've had nothing but problems with the offensive line. So it'll be interesting to see. I mean, that's a big part of it. Is he going to be able to work some magic and get these guys playing, playing well sooner rather than later or get him playing well at all? Honestly, because we've had bad luck with the offensive line these last two years. [00:25:02] Kenny Thunder: It's been really bad luck. [00:25:05] Ronnie Jams: So. Yeah, I'm with you. I think it's. That's going to be a huge focal point and it will fly under the radar just because the quarterback stuff, but everybody needs to pay attention to it. [00:25:13] Kenny Thunder: Yeah, there's a. There's a lot of like shiny, flashy new toys here. Right. Like we've got the wide receivers and there's a lot of conversation at quarterback. But this is where it all starts up front. So it's going to be real interesting, see how it plays out. I mean, I would expect just with a new group of guys and a bunch of young guys, it's going to take. Even if this team, even if they're good, it's going to take some time for them to gel. [00:25:35] Ronnie Jams: Yeah. Bone gut feeling. How's the line going to be? [00:25:39] The Bone Man: I think they're going to end up being fine. I really can't base that on anything though because it's like I don't even know where everybody's going to be. As you guys alluded to, it's kind of a question mark. What's the mix going to be? Who's going to end up starting? Are our rookies going to pan out? [00:25:50] Kenny Thunder: Out. [00:25:52] The Bone Man: I feel like our. I feel like Spencer Fano is going to pan out. That draft pick, I, I like him. Seems like a tough dude. So I, I don't Know, I don't know really anything about any of these guys. I, I, they're all new to me. I haven't really seen them play. You know. [00:26:09] Ronnie Jams: Listen guys, I go to Bone for this analysis because he's our resident offensive lineman. I know. I know you guys. I know you guys. [00:26:16] The Bone Man: These guys cut block. Maybe. I know. [00:26:18] Ronnie Jams: Don't. I know you guys would all guess that Kenny was the offensive lineman in high school, but no, it was, it was Bone. [00:26:25] Kenny Thunder: You know, it's funny, the Spencer Fano pick, you know, at draft time, it's a safe pick. You go, it's hard to, it's hard to screw that pick up, right? Because they're just not as visible as like picking a quarterback first overall. It's, it's time like you're going to start to like you're going to start to see the first 12 weeks of the season. You're going to go, hey, did we get this pick right or not? And it could be a huge blemish. [00:26:48] The Bone Man: Yeah. [00:26:48] Ronnie Jams: To your point. [00:26:48] Kenny Thunder: If they don't get it right. [00:26:49] Ronnie Jams: Safe pick on Draf half night. But it's also the one that if you don't hit on it, you look even worse later because you took an offensive lineman in the top 10, so. Which I'm not saying that's a bad strategy. A lot of people take offensive lineman in the top 10. [00:27:03] Kenny Thunder: But I'm optimistic. Right. I mean, yeah, I'm not. [00:27:06] Ronnie Jams: Yeah. [00:27:06] Kenny Thunder: It wasn't like this was a while. [00:27:08] Ronnie Jams: I like the pick. [00:27:08] Kenny Thunder: A wild card or a gamble. [00:27:10] Ronnie Jams: I didn't like it at the time because there were some other players that I wanted sitting there. [00:27:12] Kenny Thunder: But there's always more exciting players to pick than an offensive lineman. [00:27:16] Ronnie Jams: But that's what I feel like any that being said, like more exciting people to pick as a co host than you, but here we are. [00:27:22] Kenny Thunder: He was highly regarded as one of the top offensive linemen in the draft. It wasn't a reach to pick. [00:27:26] The Bone Man: Wills is not on the team anymore. Right. Is that correct or is he still. [00:27:28] Ronnie Jams: No, he's not. Oh, he's not all right. [00:27:31] The Bone Man: I could not remember if we cut [00:27:32] Ronnie Jams: him or I don't think he's on the team. This is how much we care about. [00:27:36] The Bone Man: I'm just saying that's another Andrew Barry pick. [00:27:38] Ronnie Jams: And he remember he was, he was making his, trying to make his comeback. He was like, like get, trying to like recruit himself to teams. He was like, somebody pick me up. I'm gonna have a comeback. [00:27:47] Kenny Thunder: But currently rostered with the Chicago Bears. [00:27:49] The Bone Man: Okay. [00:27:49] Ronnie Jams: He's Trash. Yeah, like I said, he's trash. But anyways, no, you mentioned young shiny new toys. All that stuff with, with all the, the players that we brought in as far as young guys, rookies and then your second year players. So that takes me into. It's a big question coming into this year. Last year Andrew Barry finally had a good draft. Draft. You know, a lot of those players panned out, at least in their first year. But we all know that, you know, you don't play football for one year and then get graded on that for your whole career. So are these players going to take a leap? Are they going to regress? I mean there's some big question marks there too because there's, it's not unheard of. It's actually pretty common that players play really well their rookie year and then you never hear about them again. So I'd be interested this year. It's going to be really interesting to see what a lot of these players do. Do in their second year with the Browns. [00:28:38] Kenny Thunder: It's hard to imagine Carson Schlesinger having a bad sophomore campaign, I think. [00:28:44] Ronnie Jams: Agreed. [00:28:44] Kenny Thunder: I think he's a player. I think the bar is exceptionally high for Harold Fannin. [00:28:50] Ronnie Jams: Yes. [00:28:51] Kenny Thunder: And in not like, I mean they [00:28:54] Ronnie Jams: stick the future on it. They got rid of. [00:28:55] The Bone Man: Well. [00:28:56] Kenny Thunder: Right, right. Like it's not anything negative about Harold Fan. It's that he played so well last year. The expectations are high to the point where they cut ties with David and Joku. So you are now the guy at that. And it's a very important one as we know just from last year. I mean he was the number one weapon that this team had on offense outside of Quinshawn Judkins. But, but I don't, I don't think the bar is higher for, for anyone than him. [00:29:19] Ronnie Jams: But you mentioned Quinshon Judkins. He's another young guy. [00:29:22] Kenny Thunder: Quinshawn to me is a bubble guy. Like not that he's not gonna make the team, but I think he's, he's also got really high expectations this year and has to prove that, you know, the rookie campaign was, was meaningful and wasn't a flash in the pan because there was a lot of conversation. We had that conversation around his average y and then he got hurt. And then he got hurt. So does he stay healthy all year? Does he improve on his yards per carry average? Does he still look to be a weapon? Right. And, and, and I think a lot of that is dependent on what does this offense look like. [00:29:51] The Bone Man: Right. [00:29:52] Kenny Thunder: I mean, what Is it? Who's the quarterback? What does the scheme look like? [00:29:54] Ronnie Jams: We'll get there. [00:29:56] Kenny Thunder: So, but, but I think Harold Fannin has a high bar and I think Quinshon has a high bar. [00:30:00] Ronnie Jams: I, I Quin Sean's the biggest one for me. [00:30:01] Kenny Thunder: I'm more optimistic about Carson. [00:30:03] Ronnie Jams: Yeah, I, I, I think you're right. I think Schweizen, Schweisinger is probably a sure bet in my op Pro bowl caliber linebacker. [00:30:12] The Bone Man: Yeah. [00:30:13] Kenny Thunder: The only, I think, the only thing I think derails him is if he were to get hurt. [00:30:15] Ronnie Jams: Yeah, yeah. [00:30:16] The Bone Man: He's still, and he still has like studs all around him. Proven, proven players. [00:30:20] Ronnie Jams: The defense on a good defense. [00:30:21] The Bone Man: Well. [00:30:22] Kenny Thunder: And I feel like even if the defense was bad around him, he would be the one guy that's like he's going to make tackles, he's going to [00:30:27] Ronnie Jams: make 14, 15, 16 tackles a game. [00:30:29] Kenny Thunder: He's just a head on the ball type of kid. [00:30:31] Ronnie Jams: Yeah, agreed. Quinn Shine is the one I'm most worried about, to be honest with you. Just because like you said, we talked about it, he started off with a bang. He added some really good games early on. And granted the offensive line got worse and worse throughout the year. [00:30:45] Kenny Thunder: The office was pugil. [00:30:46] Ronnie Jams: Yeah. But the offensive line in specifically, they got worse and they got more and more injured as the season went on. So I understand that and I understand why that may impact his yards per carry and maybe take that down a little bit. But it was like glaring by the end of it like he was averaging like 1.9 yards of carry in most of the games towards the end of the year. And then he did get hurt and it was a, it wasn't like, like you know, a, a career ending injury, but it was a significant injury. So. [00:31:17] Kenny Thunder: Well, and that's why I said bubble. Right. [00:31:19] Ronnie Jams: Like to me, lower extremity injury too for a running back. [00:31:22] Kenny Thunder: To me, Harold Feenan is a guy that I fully expect to, to meet the expectation that has been set. Quin Sean, I'm very much not sure about. I'm very hopeful that he's the running back for this team for the next five to seven years and he is an all star. But, but I think there's a really big question mark there. [00:31:39] Ronnie Jams: Yeah. I mean fractured fibula, not a, not a good one for a running back. [00:31:43] Kenny Thunder: No. You don't like to break your legs and a dislocated right ankle when your game is legs. [00:31:48] Ronnie Jams: Yeah. [00:31:49] The Bone Man: All legs. [00:31:50] Ronnie Jams: Yeah. [00:31:51] Kenny Thunder: I mean the only person that that is worse for is like a kicker. Yeah. [00:31:56] The Bone Man: Break your leg. [00:31:56] Ronnie Jams: It's your whole game. [00:31:57] Bobby D: It's your whole. [00:31:58] Kenny Thunder: It's everything. [00:31:58] Ronnie Jams: It doesn't matter which one goes out for a kicker. They're both important. [00:32:01] Kenny Thunder: But kicker and running back, you really need your legs for both of those. [00:32:06] Ronnie Jams: If you don't have them, you might [00:32:09] Kenny Thunder: say he's lost a step. [00:32:13] Ronnie Jams: Oh, my God, we're so stupid. Anyways, next up here, you mentioned Carson Swedishinger anchoring the defense. You know, we got Jared Verse over here now. [00:32:23] Bobby D: And. [00:32:23] Ronnie Jams: And out of. Out of training camp and preseason, so far, reportedly, the defense has not lost a step. They still look as good as they did last year. There's actually some reports saying they look even better and faster than they did last year. I find that hard to believe. A Miles Garrett isn't there. But, you know, that's just me. So. I know we talked about a little bit in the last episode when we talked about the Miles Garrett trade, [00:32:47] The Bone Man: but [00:32:48] Ronnie Jams: what, I mean, what do you guys think of the. What do you think is going to happen with the defense this year? Do you. What do you think the ceiling is? Do you think they take a step back? [00:32:56] Kenny Thunder: Who's lost a step? [00:32:57] Ronnie Jams: Yeah, like just. Just what are your general thoughts on where the defense is going to end up this year? [00:33:03] Kenny Thunder: Yeah, look, I think Jim Schwartz is a huge loss. Loss. I think that's a really tough one to overcome. You have a lot of good players on this team. Certainly even Jared Verse is good, right? There's not. It's not like you have a lack of talent. [00:33:21] Ronnie Jams: You don't think. When you think of defensive coordinators, Jim Schwartz and Mike Ruttenberg aren't on the same level. [00:33:29] Kenny Thunder: And I guess, I mean, maybe that's good, right? Like it's the devil, you know, versus the devil, you don't. Like, maybe Rutenberg ends up being. And you know, John Madden, I don't know, like. Like he comes over here, bam. Yeah, like, I don't know, he knocks the ball. Maybe he'll be the greatest defensive coordinator we've ever seen. But. But I have to imagine this defense takes a large step back. It's not surprising to me that the reports are that this defense is really good. What else are they going to say, right? Gee, we really screwed the pooch letting go of Jim Schwartz. This defense looks really bad. Also, let's keep in perspective. This defense looks really good against this Browns offense, which has a makeshift offensive line. I don't want to call it makeshift. Let's call it new. A new offensive line with a lot of new players. And a lot of young players also looks good against two marginal quarterbacks. I mean at. At worst and at best probably right. Marginal is. Is probably the only way we can describe them right now. It's coming. [00:34:25] Ronnie Jams: We'll get you off. [00:34:26] Kenny Thunder: And in a receiving core that is supposedly improved but also very young. So yes, this defense probably should really good against this offense dominate basically all of training camp. The offense is in. Is in install mode. [00:34:40] The Bone Man: Right. [00:34:40] Kenny Thunder: And the defense is to an extent. But this defense should be further ahead than the offenses. [00:34:44] Ronnie Jams: Well, even with the D, it's not quite an install mode for the defense though because Mo, there are a lot of these guys returning from last year and all the reports were that they weren't really changing the defense much. They were just adding to it. [00:34:57] Kenny Thunder: So add to something that isn't yours. [00:34:59] Ronnie Jams: But. But I'm just saying like this. [00:35:01] Kenny Thunder: But agree that's. That's the talk, right. Is that they're not making wholesale changes. It's a lot of GU have been playing together for a while. You have some good veteran leaders and players on this team. So again, this defense should be leaps and bounds ahead of where the offense is. So I hope that they look good. Yeah, but you know, there's no live ammo right now. Right. Like we're going to see during the preseason. You know what the. What this team in the scheme actually looks like. [00:35:26] Ronnie Jams: Oh yeah. I mean like you're telling me Shador Sanders and Deshaun Watson are like Lamar Jackson. [00:35:33] Kenny Thunder: I mean, I guess, I guess let's answer the question as simply as we can. Does. Does the offense get better? Does it stay the same or does it get worse? Miles Garrett had like 25 sacks last year. Can you do better? [00:35:48] Ronnie Jams: It would be wild if Jared Verse came in and was just like, that's it. I'm breaking the sack record. It'd be phenomenal. [00:35:54] The Bone Man: Yeah. But I think it'll be interesting to see like team wise, are we similar in sack total as the year previous? I think so much into getting Miles that record. What schemes were different because of that or was. Were they different? It seems like they were. [00:36:10] Ronnie Jams: And the more I reflect on this from the office. You make a really good point, Bone. Because the more I reflect on this from the off season, like just looking at last year, if you guys remember, right down the stretch, yeah, Miles Garrett was going for the sack record and having a hell of a time getting to it those last few games. Games. But our defense was also worse those last few games because all of a sudden I feel like they were to your point, I think they were scheming to try and get Miles Garrett. [00:36:35] The Bone Man: Sure. [00:36:36] Ronnie Jams: The sack record instead of scheming to. [00:36:38] Kenny Thunder: There was attrition too. And the season just being lost. Like all of those things. [00:36:42] Ronnie Jams: Agreed. I mean, yeah, they all played into it, but I'm just saying like will it be more of a team defense? I mean it has to be. But like what is the sack total going to be similar? [00:36:52] The Bone Man: Yeah. One thing I learned Verse I apparently was number three in the NFL and QB pressures, which I thought was kind of cool. Yeah, there was a big part of that, you know. Yeah, that's a big stat. [00:37:03] Kenny Thunder: So you know what I would say though too about like the decline of the defense and even the decline of like Miles play as he was chasing the sack record is he was also playing teams that were totally scheming against. I mean Pittsburgh game. Rogers wouldn't even throw the ball because he didn't want to be sacked. Right. [00:37:19] Ronnie Jams: So they literally lost the game. [00:37:21] Kenny Thunder: So there was some of that. And I think like what did Jared versus have last year? Seven sacks. I think he had three and a half or four his first year and then seven. [00:37:29] The Bone Man: Something like that. [00:37:31] Kenny Thunder: You know, Miles Garrett had a three game stretch last year where he had 10 sacks. So like when you think about like Miles in the middle of the season, like playing prime football when things still mattered to an extent, like that's the kind of production you got out of the guy you're not going to match. I mean if Jared verse has 10 this year, that would be a good season. It would be really good season. Yeah. Any defensive end that has 10 double digit sacks is a really good year. [00:37:55] Ronnie Jams: Play different position. Like I know they're both edge. We keep bringing this back every few years, but whatever the fuck edge is, edge, rush, defensive like. But he's like Jared Verse I feel like drops more into coverage. He plays like a little bit of linebacker like he. He does. He's not like a true defensive end. Like Miles Garrett is in the whole. [00:38:13] The Bone Man: The whole team sack total and all that stuff I feel like is a narrative the Browns are putting out there right now as far as. [00:38:19] Ronnie Jams: Yes. [00:38:19] The Bone Man: I just, I've heard a couple sports guys on the radio kind of push that like oh, Jared first was third impressions last year and we're actually not going to be missing that much and the team defense as a whole is going to be better. And you know, I just feel like that that is a narrative that is being pushed out. [00:38:33] Ronnie Jams: Did Mary Kay Cabot say it? Because I'm pretty Sure. [00:38:35] The Bone Man: It's. [00:38:35] Kenny Thunder: I think another guy that needs to step up this year is, is Mason Graham. [00:38:39] Ronnie Jams: Yeah. [00:38:40] Kenny Thunder: I'm really interested to see what his, his campaign looks like this year because there was a lot of positive last year, but I don't know that it was first round pick like, like, like number three. [00:38:50] Ronnie Jams: I think he was right. [00:38:51] Kenny Thunder: Yeah. Right. So like there's a lot of expectations for that guy too. And in this new defense, defensive scheme with Jared Verse, like you're going to need other guys to show up and he's got to be one of them. [00:39:03] Ronnie Jams: Yeah, absolutely. Yeah. And I think this is a good time to mention that what we will be bringing to the show this year is a Miles Garrett tracker. Just because the fact that he's over there and they basically have a chance of this. [00:39:17] Kenny Thunder: We're definitely tracking the Rams. [00:39:18] Ronnie Jams: Yeah. Rams tracker to see how, you know, how things fare with the trade and how things go for them versus us. I mean, they have a legitimate shot at Super Bowl. Browns, not so much. [00:39:29] Kenny Thunder: Matt Stafford was one of, I think seven players to be rated 99 overall in Madden. [00:39:33] Ronnie Jams: You know who else was? Miles Garrett. [00:39:36] Kenny Thunder: Yeah. So they've got two out of the seven. [00:39:39] Ronnie Jams: So, yeah, we'll be tracking that. I just, I think it's going to be a big story all year long. Is, is to your point, bone the narrative of team defense versus what Miles Garrett does to elevate the entire team of, of, you know, over there in la. [00:39:53] Kenny Thunder: So I was kind of bored with this team coming into tonight, but I feel there's actually a lot of interesting storylines as we head into the season. More so than I anticipated, try to tell you. I mean, they still suck, but it's, it's more, it's, it's, it's getting me kind of geared up and ready. [00:40:08] Ronnie Jams: See, see, this is. [00:40:09] Kenny Thunder: I'm a little gassed up right now. [00:40:11] The Bone Man: Little Brown's talk. [00:40:11] Kenny Thunder: I'm a little gassed up. [00:40:12] The Bone Man: Yeah. [00:40:13] Ronnie Jams: That's what I'm talking about. [00:40:13] Kenny Thunder: It's been a long offseason. [00:40:15] Ronnie Jams: Thunder is back. He's back, baby. [00:40:17] Kenny Thunder: Yeah. [00:40:18] Ronnie Jams: Next up here. You mentioned it during this whole, this whole talk. I don't know how we got from defense to. Oh, because they were playing against young wide receivers. That's how you mentioned it. The young wide receivers all look really good in preseason so far, according to reportedly, according to every report, the same [00:40:31] Kenny Thunder: people saying the defense is good and that artificial proof doesn't matter and their substations don't matter. [00:40:36] Ronnie Jams: Yeah, but, but specifically Denzel, Boston has stood out among everybody. They said he's keep stacking strong performance after strong performance. They said every 50, 50 ball that goes up, he comes to down with it. And I know we mentioned Casey Concepcion. He's also having a good camp. Isaiah Bond is having a, a huge camp according to most. So it'll be interesting to see. I mean that's two rookies in a second year player that I just mentioned. We haven't even got to Jerry Judy, who, who knows what he's going to do and some of these other guys we have. [00:41:10] Kenny Thunder: But we're still analyzing his cryptic Instagram videos. [00:41:13] Ronnie Jams: Yeah, yeah. He's the whole. [00:41:15] Kenny Thunder: The four fingers. [00:41:16] Ronnie Jams: Well, that, that was a clear hack job. I mean, I just want to say that like it was clearly spliced together in a very poor way. But then he goes and he's like, I'm gonna hang out with the Sean Watson. So just very bad self awareness, which is similar to his on field situation. [00:41:32] Kenny Thunder: Where I was going with it is you just. [00:41:35] Ronnie Jams: He just. [00:41:36] Kenny Thunder: Look, it's kind of like when we were little and mom and dad used to say things like, nothing good happens after 11pm like there's some truth to that, right? Like think about every party you were at where there was underage drinking and kids getting in fights. [00:41:48] Ronnie Jams: Like, I've never been to a party. [00:41:49] Kenny Thunder: Those things all generally happened after a [00:41:51] Ronnie Jams: little 11pm I've never been to any parties at Bones House where there was underage drinking happening. [00:41:55] Kenny Thunder: That never happened. Are we beyond the statute of limitations at this point? So, but I guess my point is [00:42:02] Ronnie Jams: that, let me be clear, that wasn't due to Bone. [00:42:05] Kenny Thunder: That was. Yeah, that wasn't an angel. [00:42:07] Ronnie Jams: Yeah. [00:42:08] Kenny Thunder: My point is that like, there's just very little good that can come from athletes, especially ones that are under the gun of like spending time on social media. Like, it's like when football season starts, it's time to like, you know, go to work and put that kind of stuff away. You know the point at which you're like Patrick Mahomes, you win a couple Super Bowls, you can kind of do what you want. If you are like, people are like, does this guy want to be here? Is even any good? Should we trade it? Like, just stay off the gram. [00:42:37] Ronnie Jams: Stay off the gram. [00:42:38] Kenny Thunder: It's not, it's not to your benefit. [00:42:39] Ronnie Jams: Kenny's advice. Stay off the gram. [00:42:42] Kenny Thunder: It's is. [00:42:43] Ronnie Jams: That's it. That's our first, our first new T shirt of the season. Stay off the gram. [00:42:47] Kenny Thunder: Nothing good ever happens after 11pm Nothing good happens on the gram. It's just all thirst traps and like and. And just bad publicity. It's all can come from. [00:42:57] Ronnie Jams: That's fair. That's fair. Now my question was, if you're at [00:42:59] Kenny Thunder: a charity golf outing or a charity dinner raising money for cancer, post those. Post those. But everything else, keep it, keep it, keep it low key. [00:43:08] Ronnie Jams: While I agree with the sentiment, this, this section right here was focused on the young wide receivers. [00:43:14] Kenny Thunder: So stay off the gram. [00:43:15] Ronnie Jams: Yeah, well, which is good advice for them. But Denzel Boston, Casey Concepcion, Isaiah Bond, I mean, do any of those guys stick out to you as far as is who you think is going to be the biggest asset for the Cleveland Browns, or does it even matter? Kenny, we'll start with you. [00:43:29] Kenny Thunder: I was going to say you just talked to Bone about this because I. My question is who's throwing them the ball [00:43:37] Ronnie Jams: question. We're almost there. [00:43:38] Kenny Thunder: I know. [00:43:39] Ronnie Jams: So I said, so, Bone, do you have any feelings here? [00:43:42] The Bone Man: Well, I'm excited for Denzel Boston because he's the receiver I wanted. Agree. And then they drafted Casey and I'm like, they did it again. [00:43:49] Ronnie Jams: I remember we went home from draft night and then we were all, they [00:43:51] The Bone Man: got him and then they got him. So it's just like. So I'm hoping for that. As far as the validates my reason for wanting him. Maybe. I don't know. Yeah, I knew it. [00:44:00] Ronnie Jams: I'm excited because he's a big body receiver that we haven't had in Cleveland in a while. [00:44:05] Kenny Thunder: So here's the one thing that I'll say about these wide receivers is that we talk a lot about the futility of the Browns. [00:44:12] Ronnie Jams: Can we make a negative Nancy alert for Kenny? Like, just like something that was take [00:44:18] Kenny Thunder: positives, turn them into negatives. [00:44:20] Ronnie Jams: Oh, no, just some tone, some like, sounder that we play. Every time you're about to get negative, [00:44:24] Kenny Thunder: I'm like the opposite of jumper cables. [00:44:26] Ronnie Jams: You were just gassed up a minute ago. You're like, I'm ready for the season. You're like, let me just. On everyone's parade here, this wasn't even [00:44:31] Kenny Thunder: about to be negative. Look, this is good. So we talk about the futility of the Browns over, what, 25 years now? 26. And how it's almost statistically impossible to be this bad this long, just that you wouldn't accidentally get it right. You know, kind of is this. [00:44:50] Ronnie Jams: Is it time for us to get it right? [00:44:52] Kenny Thunder: I think, like, it's. It's time, right? Like it's statistically, like, think about the Corey Coleman's of The world and your Braylon Edwards and your Josh Gordon's. Like, we've had a really hard time with wide receivers for the last 26 years. Statistically, even if none of these guys are any good, one of them should be. [00:45:08] The Bone Man: Right. [00:45:08] Ronnie Jams: You'd think that. [00:45:09] Kenny Thunder: So maybe this is the year. Maybe this is the year that we found our Puka Nukua. [00:45:13] Ronnie Jams: Now I will be the negative Nancy here because I actually just thought of this while you were saying all those names and everything. You know where I've heard this before? [00:45:21] The Bone Man: The. [00:45:22] Ronnie Jams: The wide receiving. The wide receiving core is actually looking pretty good. They're looking solid. I think we're going to be able to hear during. [00:45:28] The Bone Man: Oh, yeah, I was going to say. I know. [00:45:30] Ronnie Jams: Especially last year. Like last year it was the worst ever. And everybody's like, they actually look pretty good. I think we're going to be okay. And they were the worst ever. [00:45:37] The Bone Man: Like so bad. Three of the players, they talk about being great, just get cut the next week. [00:45:41] Kenny Thunder: Yeah. [00:45:42] Ronnie Jams: Like, yeah, they were so bad last year. [00:45:44] Kenny Thunder: Leading pass catchers were running back and do tight ends. [00:45:47] Ronnie Jams: And one of them's gone now. Yeah. [00:45:52] The Bone Man: Will Cedric Tillman finally turn the corner? [00:45:56] Ronnie Jams: I don't think so. Every year talk about bubble players like Cedric Tillman might not be on the team anymore, but after the season I don't. And I had high hopes for him. I like Cedric Tillman, but he just hasn't panned out. [00:46:06] Kenny Thunder: So sure, he's really good at Monopoly. He's a really good fun guy for [00:46:10] Ronnie Jams: game night, but he's a mushroom fun guy anyways. Which finally brings us to the question that we've been waiting on here. Who the hell's the quarterback this year? That's what I want to know. I mean, if you guys just. Quick recap here. Coming into off season workouts, Mary Kay Cabot was telling everybody they just need to name DeSean Watson the starter already because he's that much better. And then fast forward like a week and she's like, [00:46:37] Kenny Thunder: Mary Kay, boys. [00:46:40] Ronnie Jams: The Browns actually wanted me to say this. Yeah. So. And then all of a sudden it flipped and Shador Sanders was taking hu. Huge leaps coming into a second year. And we're four, five days now. [00:46:51] The Bone Man: Four. [00:46:51] Ronnie Jams: Is it four or five days? Whatever it is. [00:46:52] Kenny Thunder: Four days. [00:46:53] Ronnie Jams: Four days into training camp. By the time you guys hear this will be like seven days into training camp. And all of a sudden Both Shador and DeShawn Watson suck from everybody. [00:47:05] Kenny Thunder: Like they suck so bad. Little coconuts getting another shot. [00:47:07] Ronnie Jams: Yeah. Which we'll get to that in a minute. Just a lot of reports coming out of Berea that both of these guys look really bad. Like to the point where Rizzo asked one of the reporters, I forget his name, but he asked one of the reporters the other day, he said, does, does Shador Sanders look good? Releasing the ball, getting the ball out? And he said, no, he looks worse. [00:47:26] Kenny Thunder: I would, I would temper that a little because I wouldn't say all the reports are that. Because I've seen reports that Shador has looked better. I've seen a lot more consensus around the fact that DeShawn hasn't. [00:47:36] Ronnie Jams: These reports, I'm talking specifically since camp started. Like, like the last, like, like five days, four days, whatever. [00:47:43] Kenny Thunder: Yeah, I still think I, I'm, I'm, I'm still hearing and, and it's the usual crowd, right? If Shador supporters. But I, I've still heard good things about Shador as well. Not like people are championing him like he's the second coming, but I've, I've heard that it's, it's been adequate. [00:47:59] Ronnie Jams: What does that even mean, adequate? [00:48:04] The Bone Man: Just. Okay, [00:48:07] Kenny Thunder: look, they, they released the camp numbers, right? [00:48:10] Ronnie Jams: Like the tracker. They don't mean. Talk about stats that don't mean like [00:48:14] Kenny Thunder: Shadors have, have been noted notably better than Deschance. If you look at the numbers, right, the empirical data, it just. [00:48:23] Ronnie Jams: Sorry, let me, let's pause on these camp numbers again because it just makes me laugh every time. It's like we're literally playing a game where nobody's allowed to touch the quarterback. Like it's camp. It's camp. Nobody's allowed to touch quarterback anyways. Yeah, I mean, I don't know who's going to be the quarterback. These guys. I don't know who's going to be good. I don't know. I don't know. Right now it's just mixed reports from everybody in camp and it's driving me insane because you don't know what to think of them. Like you don't know who's telling the truth, who's talking for the Browns, Mary Kay Cabot. You know, in these stupid numbers, they don't mean anything at all. They don't mean anything. [00:48:59] Kenny Thunder: I think they mean everything. [00:48:59] Ronnie Jams: Okay, well, you're a dick. [00:49:02] Kenny Thunder: Here's my problem with the whole conversation. Look, everyone feels good about Todd Monkin right now. The feeling. Feel like he kind of. He gets it, right? He's a football guy. He's a no nonsense guy that, you know, the blue collar hardware, everything Kevin Wasn't. [00:49:17] Ronnie Jams: I don't know about everybody, but go on. [00:49:19] Kenny Thunder: But, but that's, that's at least the narrative is out there right now. [00:49:22] Ronnie Jams: The narrative is he's not. Yeah, to your point, he's not. [00:49:25] Kenny Thunder: And I think a lot of people feel good about that. [00:49:28] Ronnie Jams: I feel, that's the one thing I feel good about. [00:49:30] Kenny Thunder: I think if you, if you, if you pulled 10 Browns fans today, I think you would get a, a favorable reaction out of the majority. [00:49:38] Ronnie Jams: I would say at least 7 out of 10. [00:49:39] Kenny Thunder: And I think it's probably very different than the, the, if you would have pulled them right after the hire. Right. I think there was a lot of uncertainty and a lot of confusion like what the hell, Todd Monken. But I think people for the most part feel level of comfort. [00:49:52] Ronnie Jams: You mean the top of the show. You weren't being serious when you said he was the number one choice for everybody. [00:49:58] Kenny Thunder: I don't know who else wanted him. [00:50:00] The Bone Man: You should have addressed that actually. Because everybody should know that everything you said was sarcasm. It's true. [00:50:06] Kenny Thunder: It is 2026 and the Internet runs wild with things. [00:50:09] Ronnie Jams: But listen to this, this guy. [00:50:12] Kenny Thunder: Everybody wanted Todd. [00:50:13] Ronnie Jams: The Browns are winning the super bowl and everybody wanted Todd Monkin. [00:50:17] Kenny Thunder: Here's my problem with this whole conversation is Todd Monkin to me has already failed test number one. So that doesn't bode well for my expectations of him for the rest of the season and the rest of his career as Browns a head coach. Because we fall into this trap, right? And I hear this especially like on [00:50:40] Ronnie Jams: the local radio trap. [00:50:42] Kenny Thunder: The idea of Star wars reference. We're going to, we have to play the guy who is the, you know, we got to put the best talent on the field, right? The best player right now for the Browns. Like that's who you want to be your day one quarterback. And it's a flawed logic. If you just looked at these guys on paper, right? DeSean Watson has been in the NFL for nine years. The guy has thrown 124 touchdown passes. He's a three time Pro Bowler. I would hope that on paper he's better than Shador Sanders. A guy who didn't get any reps at all during camp last year. [00:51:24] Ronnie Jams: He is a one time Pro Bowler though. [00:51:25] Kenny Thunder: He's a one time Pro bowl and who has started seven games in his NFL NFL career. Yes, DeSean Watson should be way better. He knows way more football than Shador Sanders does. But the logic is flawed because we've seen, we've seen desean Watson play in a Browns uniform and it wasn't like he got seven games. It's not a small sample size. We know he was bad. He's coming off of some very gnarly injuries. The chances that he returns to any kind of form are slim to none of them. Yep, you have to start thinking about upside. And the reason why I say Todd Monken has failed this team already is because at some point, even if DeSean Watson starts the season, there's zero chance he finishes the season. I think if you pulled 10 Browns fans right now, that's a consensus opinion that DeSean Watson may start this season, will not finish the season. Who plays after that? Anybody's guess. But it won't be DeSean Watson. And when I think think about the fact that Shador Sanders is in his second year and he didn't get any reps during camp last year, has seven, you know, games under his belt, how much different, how much better could he be as your day one starter if he had been the quarterback all during OTAs, all during camp, all during every [00:52:46] Ronnie Jams: practice, same conversation last year if he [00:52:49] Kenny Thunder: was getting all of the reps with the ones. How much chemistry do you build instead of split splitting it with a guy who's been in the NFL for almost 10 years that we know knows more football and that we know isn't going to be the long term answer for this football team. There's again, even best case scenario, those [00:53:06] Ronnie Jams: points who theoretically needs less reps because he should be better, right? [00:53:09] Kenny Thunder: He doesn't need that. [00:53:10] Ronnie Jams: You think Aaron Rodgers takes every single first, first, first team rep. [00:53:14] Kenny Thunder: He's Joe Flacco last year, right? He was splitting reps with Kenny Piga, with Dylan Gabriel, like he didn't need the reps. He'd been in the NFL for a long time. He knows football right? There was. And it was still like, yeah, Joe's going to be the starter on day one. Fine. Nobody was even really arguing that at that point. Like he's the better quarterback on paper. But Shador had a chance. This is really kind of his rookie year, right? Like he's even if he started day one, if he got 17 starts this year, that's kind of his rookie campaign. So what are your expectations reasonably, for a guy that's that young, with that little experience, with that little, little reps, he needed every single rep that he could be afforded to get to and he already isn't getting them. And so when you think about long term, what are my goals for this team? It can't be, well, I want to Win as many games as possible between weeks zero and eight because I don't want to get fired. Like, you have to think upside and long term, like what's best for this team. And DeSean Watson isn't it. DeShawn Watson wins 11 games this year for the Browns. Are you really going to sign him to an extension if he takes this team to the playoffs? Are we really going to resign ourselves to. He's the best player right now and certainly he would be if he won 11 games. Can you really resign that guy if you can't resign him and we don't think he's going to play the whole season, why are we wasting valuable practice time with a young offensive line, a young receiver core like this team needs every single rep to gel and build chemistry and you're already not getting it. That's a fight failure of the highest degree from the most important person in charge of this franchise right now. [00:54:52] Ronnie Jams: Yeah, I mean it's hard to argue that. And I'll go even a step further. So you're talking about we know desean Watson knows ball, we know all this, whatever. But at the same time, if you look at the numbers since he's been with the Browns, they would actually support going with Shador Sanders over Deshaun Watson's numbers. You know what's the biggest knock on Shador Sanders? What does everybody say? Whether it's true or not, what does everybody say? [00:55:15] The Bone Man: Holds on to the ball. [00:55:16] Kenny Thunder: Reception. [00:55:16] The Bone Man: Right. [00:55:17] Kenny Thunder: Right. [00:55:17] Ronnie Jams: He holds on to the right. Well, who takes more sacks per game with Cleveland Browns? Probably Deshaun Sean Watson. [00:55:26] Kenny Thunder: Watson's the worst. [00:55:27] The Bone Man: He's terrible. [00:55:28] Ronnie Jams: Who throws really bad. Yeah. So I don't know. I just think it's, it's wild that we're still having this conversation. The guy played with Watson and adequate [00:55:37] Kenny Thunder: half a football and we all hold on to that like there might be something there. There's nothing there. [00:55:41] Ronnie Jams: You know what? [00:55:42] Kenny Thunder: There's nothing. [00:55:42] Ronnie Jams: That's. That was going to be my next point is. You know what's even wilder is the fact that there's so many people that think it's somehow to going to work out and it's not. [00:55:50] Kenny Thunder: It's just. It's just not even. [00:55:52] Ronnie Jams: Even I said I would be interested to see what he can do under Monkin. That's not me advocating for him to play any serious length of time with the Cleveland Browns this year. [00:56:00] Kenny Thunder: And, and even if, maybe, maybe for [00:56:02] Ronnie Jams: me it would be like may, like if you don't think Shador is ready, I don't Agree with you. But if you don't think Shador is ready, then I would say maybe like one, two, three games max. And then you turn it over. [00:56:11] Kenny Thunder: And I'm not even saying like should Shador is going to be good. I don't, I don't know that if Shador starts that they're going to win 10 or less 11 games. But if they don't, but I think you have to, you have to see. [00:56:20] Ronnie Jams: Yeah. [00:56:20] Kenny Thunder: And it has to factor into your long term plan. This team traded Miles Garrett in the off season. They aren't expecting to win the super bowl this year. You don't trade your best player and go, this is our year. [00:56:29] Ronnie Jams: No, the team they traded him, they [00:56:31] Kenny Thunder: were the ones that were like, this is our year. We have your best player. So it makes no sense to not be thinking about upside and, and long term and thinking about, hey, we, we need to at least find out what we have in shape. If he's good, great. And if he's not, 20, 27 is not that far away and we can position ourselves to get the guy that we want. Desean checks none of those boxes. [00:56:52] Bobby D: Right. [00:56:53] Ronnie Jams: And whether you like DeShawn or you like Shador Sanders, here's one thing. Madden is not high on either of them. EA Sports handed Watson and Sanders identical 69 overall ratings ahead of the game's release. That leaves Cleveland as the only team in Madden with a quarterback, without a quarterback who is rated over 70. [00:57:15] Kenny Thunder: Yeah, so we said Matt Stafford, which [00:57:17] Ronnie Jams: I didn't even look at, I wonder what little coconut is, is ranked worse than 69. [00:57:21] The Bone Man: Clearly. [00:57:23] Kenny Thunder: Again, Matt Stafford is ranked 99, so that's a full 30 points. Yeah, in Maddenland, whatever that's worth. [00:57:28] Ronnie Jams: So there's that. And I know you, you live, you, you swear by Madden rankings. [00:57:33] Kenny Thunder: So hey, they're not, they're not that far off. [00:57:36] Ronnie Jams: So with that being said, Madden may not be high on those two, but [00:57:41] Kenny Thunder: on Dylan Gabriel, EA Sports, it's in the game. [00:57:43] Ronnie Jams: He said, he said Dylan Gabriel is playing at a high level throughout the off season so far and that he's in line for more reps. How many guys excited about this? [00:57:50] Kenny Thunder: How many times can this man fail more reps? How many times can this man fail this franchise before he's ever coached a single game? Like what, what are we doing here? [00:57:58] The Bone Man: He's a, he's a dink. And Duncan King, what are we doing? He probably looks great in practice. [00:58:03] Ronnie Jams: It's just so wild to me that there's still not just a few. There's a lot of people that say that little coconut was way better than. Than, than Shador Sanders last year. [00:58:12] Kenny Thunder: You look at the interceptions totals and the touchdown totals. [00:58:15] Ronnie Jams: Yeah, yeah. But. But if you watched the actual game, we went nowhere. Ever. [00:58:21] Kenny Thunder: It was the worst. [00:58:21] Ronnie Jams: Nobody was even. Nobody even thought on defense that we could possibly go anywhere. Like they just pinned their ears back, did whatever the they wanted and, and just expected us to just roll over and take it. And we did. [00:58:32] Kenny Thunder: DeShawn Watson and Dylan Gabriel share the same level of talent as dtr. Like that's. Yeah, those guys are all in the same class. [00:58:40] Ronnie Jams: And DTR statistically the worst quarterback of all time. [00:58:42] Kenny Thunder: Then Deshaun Watson was good at one point. He's not anymore. [00:58:45] Ronnie Jams: This. I mean, you know, I don't get me wrong, Browns fans as a whole, I, I love Browns fans. But there are, there is a small contingent I saw out there that are. That are like, I can't believe GTR didn't get more playing. Like, are you kidding me? That dude sucks. [00:59:01] Kenny Thunder: It's just amazing that this town. I mean the, the. The bad quarterback that we've seen and that we just continue to accept it being this just. You know what's even crazy shovel down our necks. [00:59:10] Ronnie Jams: The amount of time that me and you spend and bone spend talking about these quarterbacks. [00:59:14] The Bone Man: They're so bad. [00:59:15] Ronnie Jams: So bad. But guys, hey, just play Shador, please. [00:59:19] Kenny Thunder: For the love of all that is good, play Shador Sanders. Listen, if he's bad, great. That's even. That's even better. At least we know we can close the book on Deshaun. We can close the book on Shador. [00:59:28] The Bone Man: I think that is just the plan. I mean they, they're drafting a new QB next year. [00:59:32] Bobby D: Right. [00:59:32] The Bone Man: And that's what they're bringing banking on. I. It's got to be. That's the only way I can see [00:59:38] Ronnie Jams: if Todd Monkin wins three games this year, does he make it to next year to see a new quarterback? [00:59:42] Kenny Thunder: I just think if that's the plan, then that's even less reason for Deshaun Watson to be getting reps in practice. Unless you're like, I need to sabotage both quarterbacks and both of them can't build chemistry with the other because I have to lose every game. [00:59:52] Ronnie Jams: You Gotta love the nine games of. [00:59:53] Kenny Thunder: I'm pretty sure I can lose 15 games between playing a combination of Deshaun Watson and Shador Sanders. [00:59:58] The Bone Man: Yeah. [00:59:59] Ronnie Jams: If I let neither of them who are already bad get a. Get no rhythm them whatsoever. [01:00:04] Kenny Thunder: That was, that was his pitch. To Jimmy and Andrew Barry, he was [01:00:06] The Bone Man: like, dylan takes the job. [01:00:09] Ronnie Jams: What if we just play a rotation, 15 games. [01:00:12] Kenny Thunder: Here's my plan. [01:00:13] Ronnie Jams: What if we just play a rotation of the three throughout the season? Like, each of them gets about six games. [01:00:17] Kenny Thunder: But we're going. That's what we did last year. [01:00:19] Ronnie Jams: But we're just going to go. You get one. [01:00:20] Kenny Thunder: You get one. [01:00:21] Ronnie Jams: You get one. [01:00:22] Kenny Thunder: Just musical quarterbacks. [01:00:23] Ronnie Jams: Yeah. [01:00:24] Kenny Thunder: It's so poor. It is so poor. [01:00:26] Ronnie Jams: On a bright. On the bright side. [01:00:28] Kenny Thunder: There's a bright side. [01:00:29] Ronnie Jams: Yeah. If we're really bad at getting again this year, instead of drafting a quarterback next year, what are the chances we get Baker Mayfield back? [01:00:36] Kenny Thunder: I just love that this is even a conversation. I would love it just that we're even having this conversation. Especially because so many people have shit on Baker for the last couple of years. If he was your quarterback again. Oh, man. Just absolute drama. Like, I would love it. [01:00:52] Ronnie Jams: Imagine. Imagine being Andrew Barry and you say made this groundbreaking trade. $230 million guaranteed. This quarterback. We got rid of this guy because he was trash. But then five years later, we brought him back because he was really good at our quarterback that we got for $230 million, played 19 games for us. [01:01:09] Kenny Thunder: Look, just like. Just putting it in a practical lens, right? Like in 2027, you draft an Arch Manning or whoever is heir apparent to, you know, number one consensus quarterback, right. There's no guarantee that guy's good at the NFL level. Baker is at least adequate, right? [01:01:26] Ronnie Jams: Yeah, he may not legitimately. He's top 15 quarterback. I mean, I think everybody can agree about on that. Is. He's a. He's. [01:01:33] Kenny Thunder: He's a starting quarterback. [01:01:34] Ronnie Jams: He's a start. [01:01:35] Kenny Thunder: He's a legitimate starting quarterback in the. Is he the best? I don't know. Is he top five? Probably not. Is he a starting quarterback in the league? Does he deserve to have a one of 32 jobs on Sunday until he [01:01:46] Ronnie Jams: lost all his weapons last year? His top five. [01:01:48] The Bone Man: Yeah. [01:01:49] Kenny Thunder: I mean, I think you can at least make that case. And that's better. That is so much better than where the Browns have been for 26 years. [01:01:54] Ronnie Jams: I bet he's ranked. He's rated above a 70. [01:01:58] Kenny Thunder: Yeah. I mean, Browns football, he was about [01:02:00] The Bone Man: his football under Baker was actually fun. [01:02:03] Kenny Thunder: It was good. [01:02:04] The Bone Man: Been missing four years. [01:02:06] Kenny Thunder: It was the best Browns football we've seen in two and a half decades. Like, it was. It was actually watchable as a product fair. We could have that back. I'm like, I can't even. I can't Even get my hopes up because like that would just be the most 83. Interesting. [01:02:19] Ronnie Jams: In case you were wondering. He's an 83. [01:02:21] Kenny Thunder: My team could be. But yeah, he was pissed about his toughness rating. I think he was a 98 toughness and he was like, what do you got to do to get a 99? [01:02:27] The Bone Man: Like, come on. [01:02:28] Kenny Thunder: I played through like 44 injuries last year. [01:02:30] Ronnie Jams: Yeah, yeah, it is 98. You know you're Madden. That's what I said. You live and die by these things. Yeah, that's very obscure. [01:02:38] Kenny Thunder: Other people talk about analytics. Madden is the analytics. [01:02:42] Bobby D: Yeah. [01:02:42] Kenny Thunder: They have teams that do this right. [01:02:45] The Bone Man: Let them do the leg. [01:02:46] Ronnie Jams: Just. Just to wrap things up here for the. For the Burning river rundown. Vegas has set the over under for the Browns win total at five and a half for this upcoming season. And if you're Jimmy Hay Haslam, he says he'll take the over. Kenny over under. [01:03:00] Kenny Thunder: God, five and a half's a tough number. [01:03:03] Ronnie Jams: I think that's why Vegas put it there. [01:03:06] Kenny Thunder: House always wins. Yeah, man, I, I don't know. The five and a half is an unfair number. I, I really don't. I mean with. [01:03:13] Ronnie Jams: That's actually probably right about where the [01:03:16] Kenny Thunder: fact that Todd Monkin is in his mind thinking I need to split reps between Deshaun Watson and Shadorsi Sanders and hell, let's give some to Dylan Gabriel tells me the season is already lost boys. So under might very well happen. [01:03:29] Ronnie Jams: You going under. [01:03:30] Kenny Thunder: The only way it's over. [01:03:31] Ronnie Jams: This is quick. It's supposed to be quick. You're not supposed to give a long explanation. [01:03:34] Kenny Thunder: The only, the only way it's over is like Murphy's Law, right? Like, like Lamar Jackson goes down, Joe Burrow breaks his neck again. Like, like everyone else is so bad that the Browns just existing put them over the five and a half fair. [01:03:48] Ronnie Jams: So you're under. [01:03:51] Kenny Thunder: Over. I go over. [01:03:52] Ronnie Jams: Okay. Bone five and a half over, under. [01:03:55] The Bone Man: I think I'm going under. [01:03:56] Ronnie Jams: You're going under. [01:03:57] The Bone Man: I'm going under. [01:03:58] Ronnie Jams: This in a sh. Well, this is a shocker. [01:04:01] Kenny Thunder: I think you're. [01:04:02] Ronnie Jams: You're over and you're under just cuz [01:04:03] Kenny Thunder: five and a half seems so low to me. I think six is. [01:04:06] The Bone Man: They've let me down so many years like I just did. [01:04:09] Ronnie Jams: You guys switch places. [01:04:10] Kenny Thunder: I think the. [01:04:11] Ronnie Jams: Is happening. [01:04:11] Kenny Thunder: I think six is the numbers and [01:04:12] The Bone Man: we haven't done the. I haven't even. I haven't done the schedule game in yet. So I, I'll. You know. [01:04:16] Kenny Thunder: He says under now the preseason's gonna happen. [01:04:20] Ronnie Jams: We're gonna play really good. We're gonna go undefeated in the preseason. He's like, this is great. [01:04:23] The Bone Man: That ain't happening. [01:04:25] Ronnie Jams: I'm going to go over. I'm kind of Murphy's Law with you right now. I'm like, I don't know. Like I. It's a low total. Like they have the talent. Just, just their defense alone. Like, I know we were under that last year, but their defense alone has the talent to at least keep them in games and potentially win six games. [01:04:43] Kenny Thunder: I'll put it this way. There's a world that is plausible and possible that the Browns win six games and finish last in the division. [01:04:49] Ronnie Jams: Yeah, I actually think that's fairly likely. Like, that's. That's their win total. They win six in their last place. [01:04:56] Kenny Thunder: That's the probability I'm betting on. [01:04:57] The Bone Man: I still don't trust our ownership and I don't trust Andrew Barry and we have that new stadium coming and I really think they want a dude like a first round pick. [01:05:07] Ronnie Jams: I agree with that. [01:05:08] The Bone Man: But to be the face of that, [01:05:09] Ronnie Jams: I'm just shocked to hear Bone say that he's going to. Going under five and a half, especially [01:05:13] Kenny Thunder: because the old face, they just traded the guy that was like on the Jumbotron and all the renderings was Miles, like in the stadium renderings. [01:05:21] Ronnie Jams: I've got nobody now. [01:05:21] Kenny Thunder: He's gone. [01:05:22] Ronnie Jams: So they're hoping Jared Verse can be the guy. I actually think they. On the defense, they're hoping Carson Schweisingr could be the guy, but. [01:05:29] Kenny Thunder: And they refuse to embrace the possibility that it could be Shador. So it won't be. [01:05:33] The Bone Man: Right. [01:05:33] Ronnie Jams: Fair. Yeah, fair. Yeah. So that'll wrap it up for Burning Over Rundown. That'll take us to. [01:05:39] The Bone Man: To. [01:05:40] Ronnie Jams: Hey, you want to do an interview? [01:05:42] Kenny Thunder: No. [01:05:43] Ronnie Jams: Actually, yes, we're going to do an interview. It's time for the Brownsbackers interview series, [01:05:51] Kenny Thunder: powered by Riverside fm. [01:05:59] Ronnie Jams: All right, guys, we got a very special edition of the Brownsbackers interview series tonight. We got an old friend here, but it's for a very special occasion. [01:06:07] Kenny Thunder: What's the occasion? [01:06:08] Ronnie Jams: The occasion? We'll get to that. First, let's welcome our good friend Bobby D. Anger. [01:06:13] Kenny Thunder: Bobby, [01:06:17] Ronnie Jams: if anybody back on. [01:06:19] Bobby D: Good to be back on. [01:06:20] Ronnie Jams: Yeah. If anybody doesn't know brownsbaggers North Jersey, that's. That's who we're talking to today. Angry Bobby. But I hear you're not so angry anymore, Bobby. I hear some big things happen for you guys in the off season. Is that right? [01:06:31] Bobby D: Yes. Yes. I'm no longer angry. Well, sometimes I am, but they still call me Angry Bobby. Doesn't matter. I'll always be angry Bobby. [01:06:41] Ronnie Jams: Well, I. You know, I'm going to read this. I want to read verbatim this. This interview that was written for us. So let's start here. Brown's backers, North Jersey, not the Big Apple, but the Little Peach. [01:06:52] Bobby D: How you doing? [01:06:57] Ronnie Jams: You did it. You won chapter of the year. Now that you're on the Burning River Sportscast, the unofficial podcast of brownsbackers, everywhere it's unofficial. You are the chapter of the year. [01:07:05] Kenny Thunder: You are now unofficially the chapter of the year. [01:07:07] Ronnie Jams: Los me del ano. If you will. [01:07:10] Bobby D: If you will. [01:07:11] Kenny Thunder: Yeah. [01:07:12] Ronnie Jams: But now what. What do you attribute your tremendous success to in winning brownsbackers Chapter of the Year, Bobby? [01:07:19] Bobby D: Again, it's. It's our group, and again, it's. We have a bunch of people who really help out. We grew. We did pretty much everything. What we were asked to do, or I always kept asking, what do we got to do? What do we have to do to get better to win chapter of the year? You know, they said to be more. More on social media, you got to be more active on the President's Forum, [01:07:44] Ronnie Jams: you have to do more interviews on the burning of Sportscast. [01:07:46] Bobby D: Yeah, baby. And then, you know, as far as the ch. Charitable contributions, you know, to the Cleveland Browns foundation, all that. So every year we grew, we raised more money. So I think, you know, this past year, you know, we put a. We put a good application in and we were able to win. [01:08:08] Kenny Thunder: And did last year feel different for it? Like, did, you know, kind of during the year, like, this was kind of a special year or was it kind of just like, hey, look, we. We try hard every year and, you know, we happen to be the. In the right time, right place. This year, like, different during the year again, I. [01:08:25] Bobby D: The other chapters, the stuff they do is amazing. I mean, you know, you know, we. I just. I put. I put the application every year, tell them what we do, and just. Just cross my fingers and hope we win. And this was our year, so it was. It was amazing. You know, I was so happy when we won. The party the Browns threw us was something I'll never forget. It was just incredible. So, yeah, very happy. [01:08:52] Ronnie Jams: And we're sorry we missed that. We know. Just didn't line up schedule wise, but we were. We were hoping to get out there. We just. We couldn't make it. But I heard. I heard great things from the party. I know that they Put on really good, you know, really good parties for the. The winners every year. Who is the alumni that. That they sent out to you guys? [01:09:09] Bobby D: We had actually Seth. He actually lives in. He actually lives in New Jersey. North Jersey, so. [01:09:15] Ronnie Jams: Nice. [01:09:16] Bobby D: His wife was actually. She's a professional photographer, so they hired her to be our photographer for the, you know, take all the pictures and all that stuff. Stuff was great. And he. Seth was. He was amazing. You know, it was. It was. It was awesome. Nothing else to say. [01:09:34] Ronnie Jams: Nice. Besides, you know, besides the party that the Browns threw for you, what kind of events or plans do you have to kind of commemorate the occasion? You got anything special planned for the season? [01:09:44] Bobby D: No, no, not really. Again, the party was. That was the big, big, big thing. But, you know, the Browns come to MetLife twice this year, so we got obviously gonna have. What's that? [01:09:57] Ronnie Jams: I said, I keep forgetting that. What a stupid schedule. [01:10:00] Bobby D: So we got. We got them coming to us twice, so, you know, we're gonna have two tailgates. Obviously, the jets game is gonna be big because it's in October, early October. That's the jets second home game. So it'll be big for them. [01:10:13] Ronnie Jams: The Browns won't be bad yet. [01:10:16] Bobby D: Not yet. [01:10:17] Ronnie Jams: We'll see. [01:10:19] Bobby D: I'm very, very optimistic this year. Very optimistic. [01:10:22] Ronnie Jams: I mean, what. What week is that for the Jets? [01:10:24] Bobby D: It's week five. [01:10:26] Ronnie Jams: Yeah. We can't be that bad yet. I mean, I guess we could be owing. [01:10:28] Kenny Thunder: We could be on four. Yeah, that could happen. [01:10:30] Ronnie Jams: But that's really the only way. Even if you're 1 and 3, you're not that bad yet. You're just. [01:10:34] Kenny Thunder: You're teetering on that bad. [01:10:35] Ronnie Jams: Yeah, but you're not there yet because you're only two under 500. [01:10:38] Bobby D: That'll be the Sunday after the Steelers Thursday night game. [01:10:42] Ronnie Jams: That'll go well. [01:10:45] Kenny Thunder: So wait, so here's the thing. We bring Angry Bobby on to celebrate chapter of the year. And Angry Bobby takes no victory lap. He's all business. He's like, we're just here beat and do it again next year, man. We're just. [01:10:56] Ronnie Jams: And we've. Are you noticing the level of just. Just excitement out of Angry Bobby? He's not up here. He's just like, I'm gonna bring it down a notch. Angry Bobby, I'm gonna have to get you angry. I don't know what I gotta do. [01:11:05] Kenny Thunder: This is a career's worth as a Brownsbacker president and the culmination of all the efforts. And he's just like, yeah, you know, this Is what we do here in North Jersey. [01:11:14] Ronnie Jams: Is this what it looks like to sit on the mountaintop and look down at all the peasants? [01:11:17] Kenny Thunder: All the pressure is off. [01:11:20] Ronnie Jams: You guys all stuck down there. We are chapter of the year. You cannot be. [01:11:23] Bobby D: I can say. Tell you we're. I can tell you we're already ahead of where we were last year as far as raising money. [01:11:28] Ronnie Jams: So are you allowed to repeat? [01:11:32] Bobby D: I don't think it's ever been done. [01:11:34] Kenny Thunder: But first time for everything yet. [01:11:37] Ronnie Jams: Yes. [01:11:38] Bobby D: Well, the worst case is we don't win. I have to go to. I'll go to whoever. Whatever. Chapter. Chapter wins. That's what Cliff. Cliff was with me for four days. [01:11:47] Kenny Thunder: Was that too long? [01:11:48] Ronnie Jams: You guys have a lot of margaritas? [01:11:52] Kenny Thunder: Cliff would not leave. [01:11:54] Bobby D: I remember once Cliff was amazed at the 252.50 bush lights. And I'm like, dude, I'll take you somewhere. With his two dollar beers. [01:12:05] Kenny Thunder: They don't have those out of mile high. [01:12:06] Ronnie Jams: It doesn't take a lot to impress. [01:12:07] Kenny Thunder: Cost of living is high out there. [01:12:10] Ronnie Jams: Yeah. I mean, in case anyone didn't catch the reference, Cliff called us like 14 times in a row on our hotline one time and told us every single time how many margaritas they had. So Cliff, if you're listening, I know you're probably picking up and you see that this is coming in. So I hope you enjoyed your margaritas. [01:12:28] Bobby D: In. [01:12:28] Ronnie Jams: In New Jersey they were probably $3 and 50 cents. So. No here. I got a burning question for you. [01:12:34] Kenny Thunder: This is. [01:12:35] Ronnie Jams: This is serious. If you know, you guys won chapter of the year. Right? So the question is, are you giving Monkham a raise men deserves. [01:12:46] Bobby D: I mean. I mean he. He's amazing, dude. Seriously. He. He goes above and beyond. It's. It's amazing what he does for the chapters. I mean, not a race. He alone like for the Alzheimer's walk. He. He raises so much money. [01:13:01] Ronnie Jams: Jesus Christ. What happened here? [01:13:03] Bobby D: We. [01:13:03] Ronnie Jams: We go away for a few weeks and all of a sudden it's sunshine and rainbows between angry Bobby and Liv. [01:13:11] Kenny Thunder: We love manak him. No one's angry. [01:13:13] Ronnie Jams: What the hell is happening? I need the Browns to start losing so we can get angry. [01:13:18] Kenny Thunder: Bobby needs to get pissed off. [01:13:19] Ronnie Jams: Yeah, this is. [01:13:24] Bobby D: We're full of optimism. [01:13:25] Kenny Thunder: He's like, there's no monetary contribution from Anakin, but we might give him an honorary title. Like best friend ever. [01:13:34] Ronnie Jams: He does donate a lot of cans. [01:13:37] Bobby D: We've hung out a few times this. This off season. [01:13:39] Ronnie Jams: That's what he gets. You are allowed to Hang out with Angry Bobby. [01:13:43] Kenny Thunder: Hang out with Ang. Angry Bobby. That's what I'm talking about. [01:13:46] Ronnie Jams: Yeah, yeah, yeah. [01:13:46] Kenny Thunder: Let's bring it back. [01:13:47] Ronnie Jams: Listen, this all actually fits because we've decided we don't think angry is the appropriate adjective to describe the supreme chieftain of the North Jersey Brownsbackers anymore. I think that it may be finally time to change that. Maybe we'll go with something like the, oh, I don't know, the year of Jubilant Robert or Happy Bob, or maybe even Ravenous Raven is Robbie. [01:14:10] Kenny Thunder: You like any of Robbie, please. [01:14:12] Bobby D: No Robbie. [01:14:13] Ronnie Jams: All right, Robbie it is. Is that our quickest. Is that the quickest route back to Angry Bobby? Because that's what we want. [01:14:21] Bobby D: No Robbie or no Rob. [01:14:24] Ronnie Jams: No Robbie. Or so Happy Bob it is. [01:14:26] Kenny Thunder: Happy Bob. Oh, man. [01:14:29] Ronnie Jams: Now, one more question. So I. I know that you're a regular listener to the show, and so. So is quite a few people with the North Jersey Brownsbackers, which we greatly appreciate. And if you stay through to the end of the show, I know one of the clips, one of our highlights that plays at the end of the show is me saying that when I won King of the north one year, I went home and my wife's pants hit the ground. So begs the question, when you got home, Angry Bobby, did you get rewarded? [01:14:58] Bobby D: Well, funny, the chapter of the year party was on my wife's birthday. [01:15:06] Ronnie Jams: Oh, boy. [01:15:08] Kenny Thunder: Margaritas. [01:15:10] Bobby D: And it was also on Kevin's girlfriend's birthday. Birthday, too. [01:15:13] The Bone Man: Ah. [01:15:15] Bobby D: But Kevin's girlfriend couldn't make it that day. So [01:15:20] Ronnie Jams: that guy's like. He's like. Well, it happened to be birthdays all around, but, you know, Kevin was out of luck. [01:15:28] Bobby D: It was like. I think we had, like, four birthdays that day. [01:15:31] Kenny Thunder: So happy belated birthday to Mrs. [01:15:33] Ronnie Jams: Angry Bobby. And since you guys were celebrating that night, congratulations to you. [01:15:37] Kenny Thunder: Congratulations. [01:15:38] Bobby D: Actually, you know what we didn't get until, like, three in the morning. [01:15:42] Ronnie Jams: I don't know what that means. You said it, not me. [01:15:48] Kenny Thunder: Moving on. [01:15:49] Ronnie Jams: Yeah, but anyways, listen, let's talk a little bit of Browns before you get off here. No pun intended. What are the Browns. What are the Browns going to do this year? Angry Bobby, [01:16:04] Bobby D: you don't want. You don't want to ask me that. [01:16:06] Ronnie Jams: Yeah, no, I do. That is. That is the actual question. [01:16:09] Bobby D: What are the. [01:16:10] Ronnie Jams: What are the Browns going to do? This. [01:16:11] Kenny Thunder: The interview is between us, Us and you. So you're the only person we can ask this question to. [01:16:15] Ronnie Jams: I told you to bring Kevin. I told you to bring all. All of the Angry Bobbyettes, I'll. [01:16:22] Bobby D: Kevin, you want to come down? I'm predicting a winning record. That's. [01:16:27] Ronnie Jams: You just told me not to ask you this. And then you hit me with a winning record. [01:16:32] Bobby D: 10, 7, 11, 6. [01:16:34] Ronnie Jams: Somewhere along those lines, you're going double digits. [01:16:38] Bobby D: Yes. [01:16:38] Ronnie Jams: Hell, yeah, Bobby. This is just us talking. This can be off the record if you want to be. Is that your actual prediction? [01:16:47] Bobby D: Yes. Yes. [01:16:49] Kenny Thunder: Who's playing quarterback? [01:16:52] Bobby D: I. What I say what I say. The last time we interviewed with. When I was knocking them, I said, deshaun Watson's going to be the quarterback, [01:17:01] Kenny Thunder: and he's going to win 10 games. [01:17:05] Bobby D: Do you see those wide receivers we got now? We got a. We got a new line. [01:17:10] Ronnie Jams: You know a wide receiver is not a quarterback, right? You got to have somebody to throw him the ball. [01:17:14] Bobby D: Offense looks awesome. [01:17:16] Ronnie Jams: Listen, I'm. I'm all for it. I'm excited that you're excited. I just. I am in shock right now because you literally just told me, don't ask me that. Don't ask me. And then you hit me with 10, 11 or 10, 10 and 7 or 11 and 6. [01:17:31] Kenny Thunder: I thought we were going to get a vintage Angry Bobby response, because I [01:17:34] Bobby D: knew that was his response. I was going again. I knew that's what you guys would laugh at me. [01:17:38] Ronnie Jams: I'm not. [01:17:38] The Bone Man: Well, that's what I was just gonna say. You guys immediately insulted him. [01:17:43] Ronnie Jams: Thanks, Bone, for bringing us back down to earth. Don't worry, Bones got your back. I think we're playing schedule game tonight. I don't know. [01:17:50] Kenny Thunder: I think the bottom line is this Angry Bobby has turned over a new leaf. He's jubilant, Robbie, and he's just. It's just sunshine and rainbows blowing it out of his ass. That's. This is where we are now. [01:18:01] Ronnie Jams: I'm excited about it. You might have swung me, Bobby. I was. I was doom and gloom coming into this thing. I don't know who quarterback's gonna be, but I'm just like, you know what it. We win games, the Browns are winners, and we're gonna find a way. [01:18:14] Kenny Thunder: I feel drunk. [01:18:17] Ronnie Jams: All it took was monkey business. [01:18:18] Bobby D: I'm going to four games this year, and the boys are going to five. [01:18:21] Kenny Thunder: Wow. [01:18:21] Ronnie Jams: Which ones are you going to, Bobby? [01:18:23] Bobby D: Well, obviously Giants and Jets. Yeah, we're going to. We're going to Nashville. [01:18:29] Ronnie Jams: Okay. [01:18:29] Kenny Thunder: We keep talking about going to Nashville. [01:18:31] Ronnie Jams: You're only going to one game in Cleveland this year. [01:18:33] Bobby D: Yeah, we're going to the Raiders game. I'm going to. [01:18:35] Ronnie Jams: We're going to the 5. 5 games in Cleveland last year. [01:18:39] Bobby D: No, no, I didn't do it. It seems like right here they're going to the. They're going to the home opener too. [01:18:47] Ronnie Jams: Okay. Okay. We usually lose that one. [01:18:52] Kenny Thunder: We keep talking about going to Nashville. Maybe we'll. Maybe we'll link up down there. [01:18:55] Ronnie Jams: Yeah, yeah. [01:18:56] Bobby D: There's a lot of people going on in Nashville, I think sounds like kind of parties. [01:19:02] Kenny Thunder: Well, there's a lot to do in the event that the Browns lose. [01:19:04] Ronnie Jams: Yeah. You can really drown your sorrows down there in Nashville. [01:19:07] The Bone Man: It's still old stadium down there, right? This year. [01:19:09] Kenny Thunder: Yeah. [01:19:10] Bobby D: Yeah, yeah, yeah. [01:19:11] Ronnie Jams: Yep. Well, you answered my next question. I even have to ask it when you come back to Cleveland. So it sounds like, are you coming to home opener or just them? [01:19:18] Bobby D: Just them. [01:19:19] Ronnie Jams: When are you coming to Cleveland? We don't care about the boys. [01:19:22] Bobby D: Well, I'm coming for the. [01:19:23] Ronnie Jams: We do. Don't tell them we said that. They might see this, but, you know. [01:19:26] Kenny Thunder: You know, we do care about the boys. [01:19:29] Bobby D: The Raiders coming for the President's summit on the 19th. And then I'll be back for the Raiders game after. Thanks. [01:19:35] The Bone Man: 29th. November 29th. [01:19:37] Bobby D: I got the Thanksgiving. Yeah, [01:19:40] Ronnie Jams: look at that. [01:19:41] Kenny Thunder: Look at Bones on his game in week one. [01:19:46] Ronnie Jams: All right, well, I like that. We gonna see you. Are we gonna see at the Browns backers Pres. President summit. [01:19:56] Kenny Thunder: He's like, I'm gonna be there. I'm a president. [01:19:58] Bobby D: I'll be there. [01:19:59] Ronnie Jams: Chapter of the year. You given like a symposium because you're chapter of the year. You're like, this is how you do it, guys. [01:20:04] Bobby D: I don't know. Every year they. The president's brought up, so I don't know if it's. It's gonna happen. I don't know. [01:20:10] Kenny Thunder: You better put a PowerPoint together. Angry body. [01:20:13] Bobby D: This is. [01:20:15] Ronnie Jams: I expect 16 slides in 30 minutes. [01:20:19] Bobby D: I guess one thing we showed is that a. A club that's not. Not that big can still do good things, you know, I mean, we can still win it. [01:20:26] Kenny Thunder: What's your total membership number? [01:20:28] Bobby D: We have like 60. [01:20:30] Kenny Thunder: Oh, wow. [01:20:31] Ronnie Jams: Yeah. So I think we're bigger than this. Let's bring this back down to earth a little bit here. In all seriousness, phenomenal feat by you guys. Just the fact that, like you said, you guys aren't a huge group. You're not small, but you're not a huge group either. I know there's some out there that are like 300 members or something crazy like that. So the fact that you guys were able to do with 60 people what some of these other groups can't do with a hundred. 250. 200, 250 people. I mean, every little bit counts. But it's awesome what you guys were able to put together as far as a resume for chapter of the year. [01:21:02] Kenny Thunder: Well, I would say just, you know, obviously we talk to Brownsbackers every week. I think what's really unique about North Jersey is, is. Is so much of a family affair, right? Like, he's got. He's got acolytes in his own family, like out there, charge, charging ahead, getting things done, putting up tables, putting together their events, like, and I think that's a unique chemistry that, you know, not everybody. Let's get built in advantage, honestly. [01:21:25] Ronnie Jams: Yeah. Yeah. So, I mean, seriously Angry Bobby or Jubilant Robert, you know, congratulations. It's. It's really awesome that you guys were able to do this. We're excited for you. Yeah, we'll give you a round of applause. [01:21:44] The Bone Man: Done. [01:21:44] Ronnie Jams: That's it. No, we are really excited for you, though. And I mean, not to, not to brag about the burning over sportscast, but we are the official podcast of like five of the last six Browns back or something stupid like that. So I'm not gonna say it was us, but, you know, maybe a little bit. It was. It was all you guys. You guys worked really hard and we talk to you guys pretty often. So we see the behind the scenes. We get to know between you, Monum, all your kids that are helping out every, you know, Mrs. Angry Bobby putting up with you do. Doing Brown's backers stuff all the time, you know, like you, Kenny, it's a family affair and what you guys have done is just absolutely awesome. So I appreciate that. [01:22:24] Kenny Thunder: Thank you. [01:22:25] Ronnie Jams: Yeah, congratulations. And I'm sure we're gonna have you back on soon. We're gonna be opening up the. The hot take hotline is going to be starting up here. [01:22:32] Kenny Thunder: Right? Well, it's always open. You can call anytime. [01:22:34] Ronnie Jams: That's true. [01:22:35] Kenny Thunder: Monaco's been calling me all summer long. Has he really just go back and forth? He leaves me a voicemail, I leave him a voicemail. [01:22:45] Ronnie Jams: I can't wait to listen to like 14 Monaca messages. Week one. [01:22:50] Kenny Thunder: Hopefully we' Bobby at the summit. Maybe we can get out there for when everybody's in town. [01:22:54] Ronnie Jams: Yeah. You guys, we'll. We'll talk later. We don't need to plan this now. Yeah, but. [01:22:58] Kenny Thunder: Well, congratulations, Angry Bobby. Congratulations to. To the whole chapter. [01:23:02] Ronnie Jams: Yep. [01:23:02] Kenny Thunder: The chapter of the year. [01:23:04] Ronnie Jams: Give him some applause again. [01:23:05] Kenny Thunder: Oh, more applause. Yeah, big ones this time. [01:23:07] Ronnie Jams: Yeah, [01:23:14] Kenny Thunder: That one's over now, too. [01:23:15] Ronnie Jams: You want to give a speech? No. [01:23:21] Kenny Thunder: All right. [01:23:21] Ronnie Jams: Thanks, Angry Bobby. We appreciate it. [01:23:23] Bobby D: Thank you. See you guys soon. This is Bobby D. From the Browns Backers of North Jersey, the 2025 Browns Packers Chapter of the year. You're listening to Burning River Sportscast. Go Brown. [01:23:44] Ronnie Jams: Good time catching up with Angry Bobby, wasn't it? [01:23:46] Kenny Thunder: The North Jersey Brownsbackers. Or should I say the Brownsbackers? [01:23:50] Ronnie Jams: Jubaland, Robert. [01:23:52] The Bone Man: Yeah, that was funny. [01:23:53] Kenny Thunder: Happy Bob. [01:23:55] Ronnie Jams: Happy Bob. [01:23:56] The Bone Man: Yeah. [01:23:56] Kenny Thunder: Congratulations on chapter of the year. It's a huge honor. Awesome work they did last year, and I'm just glad that they're our friends. [01:24:03] Ronnie Jams: Yeah, me too. Me too. [01:24:07] Kenny Thunder: One, we tried hard. Two, we're still dear friends. [01:24:10] The Bone Man: He should have been much more angry with you guys, I think. Especially after his Browns prediction. [01:24:14] Kenny Thunder: Were we mean to him? [01:24:15] The Bone Man: You guys just laughed in his face. [01:24:17] Ronnie Jams: Well, come on. [01:24:18] Kenny Thunder: Maybe that's why he was angry with us. [01:24:20] Ronnie Jams: Maybe he didn't want to say it. We made him say it, that we made fun of him. [01:24:25] Kenny Thunder: We're sorry, Bobby. It's all love here at the Bernie River. [01:24:28] Ronnie Jams: We do love Bobby and crew there. Are there everybody over there? Yeah. North Jersey, we love you guys. [01:24:34] The Bone Man: Well, I think he understands it's kind of part of the show. And, you know, it's our stick. Yeah. Yeah. [01:24:38] Kenny Thunder: We have to be mean. We're mean to each other, too. [01:24:40] Ronnie Jams: We want you to be scared when you come on the show. [01:24:44] Kenny Thunder: We just want you to not know what's gonna happen. [01:24:46] Ronnie Jams: You gotta stay on your toes. Just. [01:24:48] Kenny Thunder: Just when you think you're. You're friends, we're like, no. [01:24:51] The Bone Man: Ah, sex life question. [01:24:53] Ronnie Jams: That's what did it. Yeah, it took a left turn there. [01:24:58] Kenny Thunder: But anyway, speaking of sex life, I said porno in the open about John Cena. Porno needs to make a comeback. Not like the porn industry. The word porno. Like, I feel like when we were growing up, everything was porno. I feel like no one says porno anymore. Yeah. It's like we've gotten very proper with it. It's just porn pornography or it's porn or adult entertainment. Porno is just such a dirty. Like, it just. [01:25:21] The Bone Man: It. [01:25:21] Kenny Thunder: It fits the genre so much better. [01:25:23] Ronnie Jams: Yeah. Kenny's still living in the good old days because they never left. He's just porno all day, every day. [01:25:28] Kenny Thunder: I just feel like I haven't. When's the last time someone said porno? [01:25:31] Ronnie Jams: He's like, I never. [01:25:32] The Bone Man: Yeah, yeah. [01:25:32] Ronnie Jams: He's like, I never stopped calling it porno. Every day I turn it on 13. [01:25:36] Kenny Thunder: It was like, whose dad's got porno? Who's got the porno? Who's got the porno? Know any? [01:25:42] Ronnie Jams: We're still. We're still, like. We lived through the age of, like. There were still magazines and Nudie magazine day. Nudie magazine. [01:25:50] Kenny Thunder: I always thought when I was in. Because I always. I always thought that was the future. I always thought, like, one day I'm going to grow up and I'll have a subscription to Playboy. Like, that's what you do when you're an adult. And like, that's what you do. There's not even naked girls in Playboy anymore. There's no nudity. [01:26:03] Ronnie Jams: Man. What happened to the good old waste of his description? Yeah. Oh, man. I don't know where we're going with this, but speaking of, just got to bring back the O we were talking about. Okay. [01:26:15] Kenny Thunder: In the porno. [01:26:17] Ronnie Jams: I thought you were going somewhere else with the O. But anyways, you know, we were talking about Angry Bobby getting gassed up. All that stuff. Well, it's time we got gassed up. It is time for gassed up. [01:26:27] Kenny Thunder: All right? [01:26:33] Ronnie Jams: I said it's time to get gassed up. You got turned down immediately. Speaking of which, it's your turn. What are you gassed up about? You told me you had something. [01:26:40] Kenny Thunder: Guys, I've been thinking about this for a while. [01:26:41] Ronnie Jams: I'm ready. [01:26:43] Kenny Thunder: There's a song that I think you all know. [01:26:47] Ronnie Jams: Get Me Baby One More Time. [01:26:49] Kenny Thunder: Kenny Chesney. [01:26:50] The Bone Man: Oh, I think Sunrise, Beaches. [01:26:54] Kenny Thunder: The tractor song. [01:26:55] Ronnie Jams: She thinks my tractor's sexy. [01:26:58] Kenny Thunder: Yeah, you know the song? [01:26:59] The Bone Man: Yeah, that's Kenny Chesney. [01:27:01] Kenny Thunder: Yeah. [01:27:01] The Bone Man: Yeah, I guess I knew that. [01:27:03] Bobby D: Yeah. [01:27:04] Kenny Thunder: Like classic country. Not classic classic, but like, you know, main stream. [01:27:09] Ronnie Jams: It's our classic. [01:27:09] Kenny Thunder: Everybody's heard the song. [01:27:10] Ronnie Jams: Everybody likes to talk about George Strait. We weren't really around. It was before our time. [01:27:14] Kenny Thunder: Is. Is that song. Is it the worst self own in history? And maybe you're not thinking about the lyrics. So I'll read them. [01:27:24] Ronnie Jams: Yeah, read them to me. I feel like I've actually thought this before listening to this, but go on. [01:27:29] The Bone Man: It's like a dusty slice stand up. [01:27:30] Kenny Thunder: So in the. Trying to be dusty slay. But I guess this kind of is a dusty slay segment now because I'm going to read you the song lyrics. And he does do that. So in the song he says, we ride back and forth. I am dusty slay. We ride back and forth till we run out of light. Take it to the barn, Put it up for the night Climb up in the loft, sit and talk with the radio on. She says she's got a dream and I ask what it is she wants a little farm and a yard full of kids and one more teeny weeny ride before I take her home. Oh, it's a teeny weeny ride. Is he just like, guys, I got [01:28:12] Ronnie Jams: the teeniest weenie Dang dude. He put that song tell me you got a small dick without telling me [01:28:18] The Bone Man: you got a small dick says teeny weeny. Kenny Chesney is a teeny weeny person. [01:28:23] Ronnie Jams: He really is. He's a. He's a tiny little dude. [01:28:26] Kenny Thunder: And one more teeny weeny ride before I take her home. [01:28:30] Ronnie Jams: Wow, like you didn't even going to [01:28:32] Kenny Thunder: give her the teeny weeny. Yeah, like that was a cool thing to say. [01:28:35] The Bone Man: Dusty say, really missed an opportunity here. [01:28:38] Ronnie Jams: Like when you're reading this song. Cuz like I don't know if Kenny Chesney wrote this or if somebody else wrote this for him. But like when you're reading this song, like final edits, you're. You're not like maybe we should take [01:28:48] Kenny Thunder: out the teeny weeny part. [01:28:52] Ronnie Jams: To my point earlier, I'm pretty sure I have listened to this in the past and thought this, but it never came up again until you brought it up and read the lyric. [01:28:59] The Bone Man: I can't wait to listen to this song and catch this because I think it'll. I'll never not catch it. [01:29:04] Kenny Thunder: I heard it recently and then I went back and I did the same thing. I went back and I was like, I gotta hear that. And he says, I'm gonna take you [01:29:10] Ronnie Jams: on the teeny weeny chest. We invite you on the show to tell us if you really do have a teeny weeny. [01:29:13] The Bone Man: And he was just talking about having a yard full of kids. [01:29:16] Kenny Thunder: Yeah, right? Yeah. I mean the whole song is. I mean that whole point is like we're going up to the bar and we're gonna obviously do it right and I'm gonna give her the teeny weeny. [01:29:23] Ronnie Jams: I'm gonna give her my teeny weeny. [01:29:25] Kenny Thunder: Right. [01:29:26] The Bone Man: Very self deprecating. Some people find that like romantic. [01:29:29] Kenny Thunder: Is that the worst self own in history? [01:29:31] Ronnie Jams: I think that's the only thing. Only time it's not romantic when you tell them, here's my teeny weeny, you [01:29:35] Kenny Thunder: want this teeny weeny. [01:29:37] Ronnie Jams: And I know they say size doesn't matter, but when you're just like, you want this teeny, like that's nothing. [01:29:41] Kenny Thunder: Maybe he's Just owning it. [01:29:42] The Bone Man: He's just being humble. [01:29:43] Kenny Thunder: He's just like, look, I'm a farm boy. This is what I got to offer. It's a teeny weeny nothing. [01:29:47] The Bone Man: My tractor's big. [01:29:49] Ronnie Jams: Tractor's big nothing strikes lust in a young girl's heart. [01:29:55] Kenny Thunder: The teeny weeny line. [01:29:57] Ronnie Jams: Hey, let me get you. [01:29:59] The Bone Man: Those words are also just seem odd to be in a country song. Teeny weeny. [01:30:06] Kenny Thunder: I just didn't know if you guys ever considered that before. [01:30:09] Ronnie Jams: That didn't give me as gassed up as I thought it would. But it's funny, fascinating. It's like, I don't know what that guy was thinking. [01:30:14] Kenny Thunder: Yeah. [01:30:15] Ronnie Jams: He's also got a weird face. You notice that? He's all. His lips are all always pressed. He's just like blue steel. Constantly blue. [01:30:20] Kenny Thunder: Howdy. [01:30:21] The Bone Man: Yeah, yeah, he's doing that look. Is it like the duck face look? [01:30:24] Ronnie Jams: Like one look? One look. [01:30:28] Kenny Thunder: I guess when you've had as many girlfriends as Kenny Chesney, you could probably get away with telegram. Got the teeny weeny. [01:30:32] Ronnie Jams: Yeah, I got a teeny weeny. [01:30:34] Kenny Thunder: It is what it is, you know, It's a teeny weeny. I'm gonna take you on the teeny weeny ride. The worst part is this is the ride, right? [01:30:40] The Bone Man: You've heard the song, right? [01:30:42] Ronnie Jams: Yeah. [01:30:42] Kenny Thunder: It's one thing to be like, you got got the teeny weeny. It's another be like you want to take the teeny weeny ride. [01:30:49] The Bone Man: I mean, are you going to play the song in the clip, like, so people can hear it. [01:31:03] Kenny Thunder: For copyright reasons? That's all I can play. Just the teeny one. [01:31:06] Ronnie Jams: Why did he say that? I got a bonus gas down for you. [01:31:10] Kenny Thunder: You do? [01:31:11] Bobby D: Yeah. [01:31:11] Kenny Thunder: Oh, I'm gassed already. [01:31:12] Ronnie Jams: Did you guys get the cyclospora? [01:31:15] Kenny Thunder: No, I did not. [01:31:16] Ronnie Jams: The diarrhea, lettuce disease? [01:31:19] The Bone Man: Oh, no, no. I actually have heard nobody actually pronounce it. That sounds correct. [01:31:24] Ronnie Jams: But you want to know why I pronounced it right? Because I had it, okay? I fucking had it. And it was the worst. Don't get cyclospora, you Taco Bell and Taylor Farms. Go fuck yourself. I literally shit my brains out for like 11 days. I thought I was gonna die at one point. And then here's the fun part. After like, day four, my body just got used to it. I was like, this is life now. [01:31:47] The Bone Man: You had it before they were talking about in the news, right? [01:31:49] Ronnie Jams: Like, right when. You know, it was right when they. Right when it was starting. No, I knew I knew the health department called me and said, did you eat at Taco Bell? And I said, I did. And they said, that's where you went wrong. [01:31:59] The Bone Man: Okay. [01:31:59] Ronnie Jams: Yeah. So for all that's where you went wrong. Yeah. Literally, the lady was like, the lady. The health department, I know they're trying to cover it up now and say Taylor Farms didn't do anything. It's Taylor Farms. Yeah, go ahead, sue me. [01:32:11] Kenny Thunder: But anyways, coming. [01:32:14] Ronnie Jams: No, but, but the lady from the health department, her exact words were, ah, that's probably what did it. [01:32:21] Kenny Thunder: I feel like it's. It probably took a while for people to really realize because I just feel like every time I eat Taco Bell, that's what happens to me. So, like, at what point are you, [01:32:29] Ronnie Jams: like, now it's official, they actually. Actually make you your brains out. [01:32:32] Kenny Thunder: At what point are you like, man, I've had these Taco Bell shits for longer than normal. [01:32:36] Ronnie Jams: It was so bad. Guys, listen, for. Not to get graphic, but the first four days, it was really, really bad. I mean, all 11 days, it was really, really bad. But it was. It was bad. And to the point where I was so dehydrated, like, I couldn't move. Like, my body, like, was like, shutting down the medicine. [01:32:49] The Bone Man: How long did it take for the medicine to kick in? [01:32:51] Ronnie Jams: Like two, like 24 to 48 hours before it really kicked in. And you had to take it for 10 days straight. Oh, yeah. And anyway, so like around day four. [01:33:01] Kenny Thunder: It's a parasite, right? [01:33:02] Ronnie Jams: Yes. It' site bugs in you and you need. They're microscopic, but. Yes, but you need antibiotics to, like, clear it out. [01:33:10] Kenny Thunder: What I've heard is that you're just unclean. That's what that's. [01:33:13] The Bone Man: I mean, you will not be entering the temple. [01:33:17] Ronnie Jams: Yeah, I probably wouldn't have been allowed in at that point, but. [01:33:19] Kenny Thunder: Joel Olstein. I've taken. [01:33:20] Ronnie Jams: I've taken antibiotics. I'm better now, guys. [01:33:23] Kenny Thunder: But anyways, he's clean now. [01:33:24] Ronnie Jams: Yeah. Day four. My body's like, shutting down. Like, I could hardly function. Like, I was just cold sweats. Like, just so dehydrated. Like. Like it was wild, like, to the point where I wasn't even urinating because, like, there it was just. [01:33:38] Kenny Thunder: Hold on. [01:33:39] Ronnie Jams: So. And I'm drinking water. [01:33:41] Kenny Thunder: It's like in holes when they were super dehydrated. [01:33:43] Ronnie Jams: Well, then fast forward like a day and a half. It was like I was perfectly fine, except I was shitting my brains on my body. Literally was like, nah, we figured it out now. Like, this is just Life now. So just make sure you drink as much water as you possibly can. [01:33:55] Kenny Thunder: Parasite stay alive. [01:33:57] Ronnie Jams: But like, you're gonna be having a bad time for as long as having a bad time. [01:34:02] Bobby D: So. [01:34:02] Ronnie Jams: Yeah, Cyclospora, Taylor Farms and Taco Bell. [01:34:06] Kenny Thunder: Did you try the. [01:34:07] Ronnie Jams: I still have Taco Bell eventually. When the Taylor Farms stuff. [01:34:10] The Bone Man: Taco Bell has survived things like this in the past. [01:34:12] Ronnie Jams: I feel like, yeah, it'll blow over. I feel like every fast food joint goes through this whole hepatitis, gonorrhea. [01:34:17] Kenny Thunder: It happens. Did you try the like the garlic clove diet? I hear like in, in other countries that have like, like parasites are very common. Like the Middle east and like even like Australia. It's just like, I don't know, they just like deal with it, they just live with it. They're not the ones that make you all the time, but like, they're probably not great. But I hear that like in those countries they eat a lot of like heavy garlic in their diet because the, the parasites don't like it. They don't want to live in the garlic house. [01:34:44] Ronnie Jams: I didn't try that. [01:34:45] Kenny Thunder: Oh, maybe you should try it next. [01:34:46] The Bone Man: Yeah, I think garlic. [01:34:47] Ronnie Jams: Let me go get it again. [01:34:48] The Bone Man: Garlic, Onions have natural like antimo microbial properties. Yeah, yeah. [01:34:53] Kenny Thunder: They don't like it. They can't live in the environment. [01:34:54] Ronnie Jams: That's my advice for everybody though. Don't get cyclospora. It's terrible. [01:34:57] Kenny Thunder: Don't get it. [01:34:58] The Bone Man: Really good advice. [01:34:58] Ronnie Jams: Yeah. I haven't eaten lettuce since I got it, dude. [01:35:02] Kenny Thunder: Like, no. [01:35:02] Ronnie Jams: I literally like everywhere I go, I'm like, no lettuce. [01:35:04] The Bone Man: Mr. Thunder doesn't eat lettuce his whole life. [01:35:07] Ronnie Jams: You'll never get a parasite. [01:35:09] Kenny Thunder: No, we've been, we've been abstaining from even just like salad in the house. Because I'm just like, I don't know. I don't know that where it came from exactly. I don't know who's selling the bad lettuce. [01:35:18] Ronnie Jams: I'll give that to Taylor Farms. It makes be more widespread than just them. But they, they were definitely part of it. [01:35:22] Kenny Thunder: It's just to me, it's just not worth the gamble. Like, especially once you got it. I was like, if, if it can happen to him, it can happen to anyone. Now that you're super clean. But I'm just like, like that. [01:35:31] Ronnie Jams: That seemed like I appreciate that closer [01:35:34] Kenny Thunder: to home, like when somebody you hit. No. Has it. So I was just like, it's just not worse. [01:35:37] Ronnie Jams: I was the whole thing too. I Was like, I'm, I'm going to die soon. This is it. This is, this is how I. Luckily [01:35:42] Kenny Thunder: you installed that bidet. [01:35:43] Ronnie Jams: I made it. That's true. True. Although I tell you this, if you get pressured water blasting up your anus throughout this whole thing, you still get pretty raw. [01:35:53] Kenny Thunder: Did not have pressured water blasting up my anus on my bingo card for tonight's episode. We can cross that one off. [01:35:59] Ronnie Jams: But anyways. Yeah, don't, don't get it. [01:36:03] Kenny Thunder: Do you have a bidet or do you have an enema thing at home? [01:36:06] Ronnie Jams: No, it's a bidet, but it's still like if it doesn't shoot at some sort of velocity, it's not going to clean your butt, you know, Gotta be velocity. Some of the funny. One of the funniest happened during this whole part though was we're like explaining, you know, I have a three year old daughter at home. So we explained to her like at first we didn't, well, at first we didn't know what it was. So we're just like, you know, dead [01:36:27] Kenny Thunder: living in the bathroom. [01:36:30] Ronnie Jams: But we, we like. I stayed away from him as much as possible because I didn't know what it was at first. I'm like, you know, stomach, stomach bugs are really contagious. And you're like, you don't want to give. [01:36:38] Kenny Thunder: It's bad enough when you have it. It'd be terrible for a three year old. [01:36:40] Ronnie Jams: A three year old or my one year old. So it's like if they had it, like we're going to the hospital. [01:36:44] Kenny Thunder: Inconvenient and also probably dangerous. [01:36:46] Ronnie Jams: Yes, exactly. So I stayed away from him for the first few days until we realized like that's, that's what it was. [01:36:51] Kenny Thunder: Yeah. [01:36:52] Ronnie Jams: And my daughter, through the whole thing, like I get, I get medicine stuff and I start coming around and more and she's like, dad, is your parasite gone like you had it as a pet? Yeah, I'm like, yeah, I don't have a parasite anymore. But you did have a paras. Had one and it was in there and it was, she's like just so ptsd. And you have a, you know, you have a toddler, so you, they just say things so matter of factly and you had, you had multiple. So it's like she's just, is your parasite gone? But is it. [01:37:24] Bobby D: Is. [01:37:24] Ronnie Jams: Are you going to get a new parasite? I will say I'm, I'm good. No parasites for me. [01:37:28] Kenny Thunder: The sickness in the kids is the worst. That's my least favorite time is when when he gets sick and he has like the throw ups. Because it's just like, it just comes out like it, like when I. [01:37:37] Ronnie Jams: They don't know, they're just open their mouth and it's just like. [01:37:39] Kenny Thunder: Yeah, like when I throw up, like I labor to do it because I don't want to throw up. And it's, it's a fight the whole time and I'm. And then when it does, I'm just like, okay, now it's time. He's got it. And you just hacking and gagging like he just. [01:37:49] Ronnie Jams: It's the worst. [01:37:50] Kenny Thunder: You're sitting on the couch. I feel like the mouth opens and he just pours out. He doesn't know that he's supposed to like put it in the toilet or in a towel. He just is really gross. [01:37:59] Ronnie Jams: And for kids, like to your point, they don't keep vomiting until they get to that point. Like me and you, like, you start vomiting and you just go. Until it hurts so bad. [01:38:08] Kenny Thunder: Yeah. I want it out of me. I want this to be over. [01:38:10] Ronnie Jams: Kids, they just do it like three times and they're just like, I don't, I don't know what the fuck. They'll do it for like three days and they just. But I'm saying like, like at one time they just do it like three times. They're like, I don't know what that was. And they just cry. [01:38:19] Kenny Thunder: Yeah. [01:38:20] Ronnie Jams: Because they're like, I don't, I don't know what happened. [01:38:21] Kenny Thunder: Kid sickness is the worst sickness. [01:38:23] Ronnie Jams: Yeah. [01:38:23] Kenny Thunder: Except for the parasite. That sounds. [01:38:25] Ronnie Jams: Parasite sounds terrible. Yeah. Yeah. Don't. Don't get it. [01:38:28] Kenny Thunder: I'm still gonna eat Taco Bell though. Just no lettuce. [01:38:30] Ronnie Jams: Oh, I'll probably eat Taco Bell again eventually, but just not right now. Just no lettuce and probably for the foreseeable future, no lettuce. [01:38:35] Kenny Thunder: See, everybody's always made fun of me my entire life because I ordered my hamburgers without lettuce. My tacos. My grandpa used to tease me. [01:38:41] Ronnie Jams: It's like the number one. [01:38:42] Kenny Thunder: Oh, you want to go to Taco Bell and eat your tacos with no lettuce and I can't, grandpa, cuz I don't want the parasite. Yeah, who's laughing now? [01:38:50] Ronnie Jams: Produce like bacteria, parasites, like everything. That's where you get it. [01:38:54] Kenny Thunder: Yeah. It lives there and then it lives in you. [01:38:56] The Bone Man: Yeah. [01:38:57] Kenny Thunder: Is your parasite gone, daddy? [01:38:59] Ronnie Jams: Speaking of buttholes, quick update on King of the north here, Kenny Houston, to get your butthole waxed as punish for losing king of the fore. [01:39:36] Bobby D: Yeah. [01:39:36] Kenny Thunder: We will run you all your. [01:39:37] Ronnie Jams: This is actually on my to do list now. Let me find out where they wax buttholes and if they want to sponsor the show. [01:39:45] Kenny Thunder: But I can really come up with some killer slogans for that marketing campaign [01:39:53] Ronnie Jams: with that. Let me remind everybody. Call the Burning Sports [01:39:57] Kenny Thunder: Harry B. Not anymore. [01:39:59] Ronnie Jams: Don't forget to call and leave your hot takes on the hot take out. Remember this? These are hot takes. We want hot takes. [01:40:03] Kenny Thunder: We want all the hottest takes. [01:40:04] Ronnie Jams: Ah, yeah. So 3302 really ran out of steam there. I'm really light headed all of a sudden. [01:40:11] Kenny Thunder: Parasite back. [01:40:12] Ronnie Jams: No, it's not back. 3302-278813-30227, 8813-3022-7828-1330 227, 8081. Man, I really wrote this. [01:40:37] Kenny Thunder: A great thing for you. [01:40:38] Ronnie Jams: You're supposed to say we are back. [01:40:39] Kenny Thunder: Oh, we are back. We are getting Doug back. It's time to go every week from here to the end of the year to the Super Bowl. Except for next week. [01:40:47] Ronnie Jams: There you go. You fixed it. [01:40:54] Kenny Thunder: So. [01:40:55] The Bone Man: So you know you're not missing anything [01:40:58] Kenny Thunder: after the Browns play. And we will recap the Browns preseason game and bring you all the training camp and preseason drama here. Go on. [01:42:16] Kenny Thunder: I think we've done the national anthem before. [01:42:18] Ronnie Jams: Now we're doing it again. [01:42:19] Kenny Thunder: Number one new style. I was was reading. [01:42:23] Ronnie Jams: Are you doing Whale Facts? God damn it, no. [01:42:26] Kenny Thunder: But it was just Shark Week, which is the greatest week of the year. [01:42:29] Ronnie Jams: I didn't even know nobody. We don't have cable anymore, and now I don't know when Shark Week is. [01:42:33] Kenny Thunder: It's the greatest week of the year. Sharks are fascinating. [01:42:37] Ronnie Jams: It might. That might be the worst thing about streaming is I don't know when Shark Week is. [01:42:40] Kenny Thunder: Yeah, Shark Week. [01:42:41] Ronnie Jams: It was almost enough to make me pay $275 a month to go back to game. [01:42:46] Kenny Thunder: That's the only reason I do for Shark Week. [01:42:49] Ronnie Jams: Sorry, go on. Sorry. I digress. [01:42:50] Kenny Thunder: Anyway, I was reading about black holes and how they just. [01:42:55] Ronnie Jams: You were reading about black holes? [01:42:58] Kenny Thunder: You got to be really careful. Choose your next words. Very cautiously. Reading about black holes in space. [01:43:07] Ronnie Jams: Okay, that's better. A lot of them out there. [01:43:10] Kenny Thunder: Yeah. Turns out. [01:43:11] Ronnie Jams: Yeah, that's more than I would have guessed. [01:43:13] Kenny Thunder: You know, I'm convinced that like, all the science behind like, stars and the galaxy is like all pretty fabricated. Not that they don't know anything that's going on. But you hear like, oh, the sun's going to burn for another 11 billion years. Like, okay, what are you basing that on? [01:43:28] Ronnie Jams: I think that's pretty fucking made up. [01:43:30] Kenny Thunder: Like, I think the reality is they keep say we don't know because it would cause mass panic. People be like, is the sun gonna burn out? Even if the sun truly was gonna burn out. And you definitely can't say it. So there's probably a high probability that they, they don't know or they do [01:43:45] Ronnie Jams: know and it's bad. [01:43:45] Kenny Thunder: And if they do know, it's bad and they could never tell us. [01:43:47] Ronnie Jams: Anyways, sorry, before we go any further, that specific like that the sun, when it's gonna burn out, just reminds me of catch me if you can. And he's like, the sun will drop this. No, the sun will burn out in 30 billion years. Do you concur? [01:44:03] Kenny Thunder: I concur, yes. So anyway, but what I did stumble across though is that there is a pretty high level of consensus in the scientific community that like, you know, black holes are kind of everywhere. They're all out there. And we're just, you know, cruising through [01:44:21] Ronnie Jams: so many black holes at, you know, [01:44:24] Kenny Thunder: thousands of miles an hour. Universe is expanding. Yeah. Speed of light's really fast. And black holes, like, could pretty conceivably just kind of come out of nowhere and swallow everything in our galaxy in like a second without warning, which is terrifying in its own right. [01:44:36] Ronnie Jams: Some black holes are really big. [01:44:37] Kenny Thunder: But my facts today are not about black holes. They're just about space. Because I was reading a lot about black holes. [01:44:41] Ronnie Jams: We talked a lot about buttholes, a lot about black holes. [01:44:48] Kenny Thunder: Black holes in space. Black holes in space. Number one. These are way less interesting than black holes now. Number one. A year on Venus in shorter than its day. [01:44:59] Ronnie Jams: Yeah, that's true. 274 to 236. [01:45:03] Kenny Thunder: Not accurate. Venus takes 225 Earth days. Close orbit the sun, but 243 Earth days. I was once on its axis, so I thought that was fascinating. Just that, you know. But I guess that begs the question, like, what is time? [01:45:16] Ronnie Jams: Nobody knows. [01:45:17] Kenny Thunder: Because it's kind of just like our own social construct measurement that we made up. Like, what is time relative to space? Like we say things like, like the universe is, you know, 40 billion years old. But like, what does that mean? Like, does the universe recognize time? Like it doesn't. [01:45:31] Ronnie Jams: Well, they definitely don't. They definitely don't recognize an Earth day to this really. [01:45:36] Kenny Thunder: It's just like how we define, I [01:45:38] Ronnie Jams: think about this 99.999999999% of the universe doesn't even know what an Earth day is. [01:45:45] Kenny Thunder: Right? Like it's how we define atrophy and like, like just aging process. But like that's not even a real thing. [01:45:50] The Bone Man: Right. [01:45:51] Kenny Thunder: Like it is in space. It doesn't exist. We made it up. Anyways. Number two, Saturn is the only planet in our solar system with an average density lower than water, meaning it is the only planet that would float. [01:46:04] Ronnie Jams: Oh, wow. [01:46:05] Kenny Thunder: Which I also don't even know. [01:46:07] Ronnie Jams: Big rock in the ocean. [01:46:08] Kenny Thunder: I also don't even know how you determine the density of galactic body millions of miles away. [01:46:13] Ronnie Jams: Very carefully. [01:46:15] Kenny Thunder: Some scientists, we're pretty sure some scientists somewhere said that's true. So I've passed it on to you now as a fact of the day. [01:46:22] The Bone Man: Thank you. [01:46:24] Kenny Thunder: Number three. Pluto, as we all know, is very small. [01:46:27] Ronnie Jams: That's not a planet. [01:46:28] Kenny Thunder: But how small is it? [01:46:30] Ronnie Jams: It's a dwarf. How small is it? Dwarf planet. [01:46:35] Kenny Thunder: It's actually half the width of the United States. [01:46:40] The Bone Man: Huh. [01:46:40] Ronnie Jams: That's very small. So you think of a planet. I can't believe they ever considered that a planet. [01:46:44] Kenny Thunder: But when you think about half the us, that's not very big at all. [01:46:46] Ronnie Jams: Have you seen the things I actually saw that they, they like, they're not sure if it's a planet or not still, like there's. [01:46:51] Kenny Thunder: It goes back, go back and forth. [01:46:52] The Bone Man: Yeah. [01:46:53] Ronnie Jams: Because some people will tell you like it's on this elongated orbit and other people will tell you it's actually just orbiting Saturn. [01:46:59] Kenny Thunder: Well, and I, and I say that even those that have declassified it as a planet still classified as a dwarf planet. And if I think if planet is in the name. You're a planet planet. You're just a small planet. [01:47:10] Ronnie Jams: Planet, planetary body. [01:47:12] The Bone Man: Yeah, I don't hear nothing talking about a moon. You never hear moon. [01:47:15] Ronnie Jams: That's no moon. [01:47:16] The Bone Man: That ain't no moon there. [01:47:18] Kenny Thunder: Anyway, of course, the size is also relative in space because the United States is just a 2D plane. Pluto obviously is a sphere. So the surface area of Pluto is far greater than the US, but the width itself is about 1400 miles to compared to the US's 2800 miles wide. [01:47:35] Ronnie Jams: My. That's no moon. In case anyone's wondering, I hit you with a Star wars reference today. And now a Thumb wars reference today, in case anybody has ever seen that cult classic. [01:47:43] Kenny Thunder: What is a Thumb Wars? [01:47:44] Ronnie Jams: Look it up. You won't be disappointed. [01:47:47] Kenny Thunder: Is that like a Clockwork Orange? [01:47:49] Ronnie Jams: It's a, it's a parody on Star wars, like Spaceballs with literal thumbs. [01:47:55] Kenny Thunder: Ah. Is it just a YouTube cut? [01:47:58] Ronnie Jams: No, it's like an actual franchise. They do other movies too, but Thumb wars was one. Just look it up. It was funny. You guys will all thank me later. [01:48:05] The Bone Man: Okay. [01:48:05] Kenny Thunder: Well, that was facts for days. [01:48:07] Ronnie Jams: Oh, those are good facts. Space. [01:48:09] The Bone Man: Space. [01:48:09] Ronnie Jams: Not as good as whale facts. [01:48:11] Kenny Thunder: They weren't as good as information about black holes. But I was doing a lot of space reading, so these were relev. [01:48:16] Ronnie Jams: You better bring his black at least to me. We want more black holes on this show. [01:48:19] Kenny Thunder: I can bring you some black holes. [01:48:25] Ronnie Jams: I bet black holes are making bone hungry. [01:48:28] The Bone Man: Yeah, Tired. Really? [01:48:30] Kenny Thunder: Yeah. You know what they are making me? [01:48:33] Ronnie Jams: I love bl. [01:48:35] The Bone Man: I'm ready for bed. So I. I bid you farewell. And I tell you bon appetit. [01:48:44] Kenny Thunder: Don't just be a part of the problem. Black holes are a huge problem. Be the whole damn problem. [01:48:49] Ronnie Jams: And only you can prevent river fires. [01:48:53] Kenny Thunder: Burning rivers, Burning river, burning rivers. She says she's got a dream Ask what it is. [01:49:08] Ronnie Jams: And one more teeny weeny Right before I take her home. She thinks my tractor sexy. It really turns her on. [01:49:19] Kenny Thunder: She's always staring at me. [01:49:32] Ronnie Jams: He thinks my tractor is sexy. Good night, Leland. [01:49:42] The Bone Man: Good night, Akron. [01:49:44] Ronnie Jams: Quiet on set. I now have two loves in my life. Big city living and a voodoo woman named Phyllis. I didn't think we'd be getting into Brad Pitt. [01:49:58] Kenny Thunder: I can't even say I didn't think we'd be getting into Brad Pitt's ass. [01:50:02] Ronnie Jams: Yeah, didn't think we'd get in there. [01:50:04] Kenny Thunder: We talk a lot of analingus on this show. [01:50:07] Ronnie Jams: So put your right foot in and take your right foot out. Then put your right foot in and shut the hell up. Because it's not time for the Hokey Pokey. It's time for the Burning River Sports Cab Motorboat. You play the motorboat, [01:50:21] Kenny Thunder: you motorboat. [01:50:22] Ronnie Jams: Son of a. [01:50:22] Kenny Thunder: You old seal. [01:50:23] The Bone Man: Or you. [01:50:24] Kenny Thunder: You know, I was thinking during that interview. [01:50:25] The Bone Man: What? [01:50:26] Ronnie Jams: What were you thinking? Nothing. Because you don't have thoughts because you're a brainless idiot. [01:50:30] Kenny Thunder: Wow. [01:50:31] Ronnie Jams: My name is Uhtred. Son of Uhtred, by the way. I want my foreskin back. It doesn't matter what you think. [01:50:37] Kenny Thunder: Women's Guide to. To Anal Sex. And it was the second edition. Who makes that second edition? [01:50:43] The Bone Man: The weather outside is weather. [01:50:45] Ronnie Jams: The other one. The finger. The finger. Eating food. Fingers. Oh, my God. God, my ass is full of she. Everywhere. [01:50:54] The Bone Man: Yes. [01:50:54] Kenny Thunder: Ejaculate all over my body and my genitals. [01:50:57] The Bone Man: Yes. [01:50:57] Ronnie Jams: Oh, no. We suck again. [01:51:00] The Bone Man: You don't need fundamentals when you got heart. [01:51:03] Kenny Thunder: And Jesus. [01:51:04] Ronnie Jams: And Jesus. [01:51:05] The Bone Man: That's right. [01:51:05] Ronnie Jams: Touchdown. Anyway. [01:51:07] Kenny Thunder: What do you mean, funny? Funny how? How am I funny? [01:51:09] Ronnie Jams: It's going down. I'm yelling. [01:51:11] Kenny Thunder: Timber. Call them jets. [01:51:15] Ronnie Jams: Should we start a meat podcast? Like. Like, Like. Like the Meat Pod? Slow Roasted. [01:51:23] Kenny Thunder: The leads are weak. The leads are weak. [01:51:27] Ronnie Jams: Leads are weak. [01:51:28] The Bone Man: You're weak. [01:51:29] Kenny Thunder: That we should send a team of oil core drillers. Allah Armageddon to Mars to have them access the newly discovered reservoirs of water traps 7 to 12 miles under the surface that when released, will cover the entirety of everything on the planet. Less than a mile high. No browns, baby. [01:51:39] Ronnie Jams: All I do is work. Win, win, win, no matter what. Erroneous. Erroneous on both counts. Oh, Lord. I mean, when I last year, when I won and went home, you know, my wife's pants hit the ground. [01:51:50] Kenny Thunder: Wow. [01:51:50] Ronnie Jams: But damn. [01:51:51] Kenny Thunder: I'm sorry I hijacked your segment for a second to do some good podcasting. You know why, Mr. Cuz? [01:51:58] Ronnie Jams: You drove a Hyundai to get here tonight. I drove an $80,000 BMW. That's my name. I think we've officially lost all of our more conservative viewers, so I don't think they want to listen any longer. [01:52:12] The Bone Man: It's Mother Nature. [01:52:13] Ronnie Jams: I live my life a quarter mile at a time. [01:52:15] Kenny Thunder: Where's logo girl when you need her? [01:52:17] Ronnie Jams: I desperately want to make love to Cheese Girl. [01:52:19] Kenny Thunder: We need Cheese Girl now. Down. Who's canceled now? Who's canceled now? [01:52:27] Ronnie Jams: Probably me. [01:52:28] Kenny Thunder: You making it for the fat people. [01:52:30] Ronnie Jams: I'm not. Not just you. [01:52:32] Kenny Thunder: We're a whole race, basically. [01:52:36] Ronnie Jams: No way. You're just straight. Just finger banging her salad. [01:52:41] The Bone Man: You first get shocked and then you get the shocker. [01:52:47] Kenny Thunder: He likes he almost naked. [01:52:48] Bobby D: That's cool, man. [01:52:49] The Bone Man: Whatever. No, no, no, no, no. [01:52:54] Ronnie Jams: Are you not entertained? Are you not entertain? Is this not why you here?
