[00:00:55] Speaker B: Media.
It's time. Time for the Burning River sportscast. The NFL is officially back and week one is in the books. And is it too soon to say? The Cleveland Browns are back in what set up to be a quarterback duel for the ages, became a knock them out, drag them down battle of attrition defensive prowess. An old school running game of which your Cleveland Browns came out on top in every phase in what could not have been a better start to the year. I do have one lingering doubt, but a kicker sure isn't one of them. And we'll break down the rest for you, next on the Burning River Sports cast.
[00:01:54] Speaker C: Don't look at Strawberry like that.
[00:02:00] Speaker B: This is big sex.
[00:02:02] Speaker C: A lot of 69s going on. It's pretty weird.
He said Kappa lost his Kappa there and Taki Taki made the tackle.
[00:02:09] Speaker D: Tackle.
[00:02:10] Speaker B: Yeah.
Look, here's the thing. Nick Chubb is God's gift to man, period.
[00:02:16] Speaker C: That's true. I mean, I'm not going to argue.
[00:02:17] Speaker B: If you aren't just soaking this in as a Browns fan.
[00:02:20] Speaker C: Oh, I thought you were going to say if you aren't just soaking wet right now.
[00:02:25] Speaker B: John Goodman is without a doubt the greatest American actor of all time. If there was a Mount Rushmore of actors, american actors, it would just be four John Goodman faces right in the world.
[00:02:33] Speaker C: Absolutely. I can't argue with that whatsoever.
[00:02:37] Speaker B: Did you call them the 49 ers? Like the horny niners?
Like, forney?
[00:02:44] Speaker C: I don't think I did, but maybe I did.
[00:02:45] Speaker B: 49 er. 69 er.
[00:02:47] Speaker C: Yeah, maybe.
[00:02:49] Speaker E: Here we go, Brownies. Here we go.
[00:02:55] Speaker B: Welcome into the Burning River Sportscast, presented by Tapin Media and brought to you by the Cleveland Browns Fan Cruise. I'm your host, Kenny Thunder, joined again by my cats of thousands, including the recently circumcised Red Hot Ronnie Jams and our trusty bordoff who rode here on a horse with no name, the Big bone man. Big bone. How's it hanging?
[00:03:15] Speaker F: Oh, it's hanging long and.
[00:03:19] Speaker B: Got graphic to start. Back to red hot. Two questions. If you could talk to one former Browns player this week, any player on the planet, who would it be?
[00:03:29] Speaker C: Big John Hughes. No question.
Okay, number two.
[00:03:33] Speaker B: Number two. If you were as big as Big John Hughes, what's the first thing you'd go do?
[00:03:39] Speaker C: Oh, man.
I don't know. You put me on the spot.
[00:03:46] Speaker B: You don't know. He doesn't know.
[00:03:47] Speaker C: As big as big John Hughes.
[00:03:49] Speaker B: I probably you were just a massive humanity. You could do anything you wanted.
[00:03:55] Speaker C: I probably sumo wrestle you.
[00:03:57] Speaker B: That seems like a weird thing to.
[00:03:58] Speaker C: Do, because you're the biggest man I know.
[00:04:02] Speaker B: This is no longer fun.
[00:04:07] Speaker C: No, you don't want to. Afraid you'll lose?
[00:04:10] Speaker B: I think what I would do is dress Christine up in skimpy clothes, and then whenever anybody looked at her, just beat him into the ground. Hey, what are you looking at, my girl?
Don't look at her.
[00:04:22] Speaker C: Don't be looking.
[00:04:23] Speaker B: Don't look at her.
[00:04:24] Speaker C: Don't look at Strawberry like that.
Oh, man. What just happened? By the way, I want my foreskin back.

[00:05:31] Speaker B: Cleveland is Cleveland.
[00:05:32] Speaker C: Anyway, so we got a big show planned for you tonight. Interview with the Pittsburgh Brownsbackers Brownsbackers organization located behind enemy lines in Pittsburgh.
[00:05:41] Speaker B: How do they survive?
[00:05:42] Speaker C: I don't know. We'll find out. I guess we have the Week One recap of the Browns slaughtering the Bengals. We've also got an interview with another Browns alumni that will be joining us on the Cleveland Browns Fan Cruise in the second half of the show. Today's guest, big John Hughes.
[00:05:57] Speaker B: Big John Hughes.
[00:05:58] Speaker C: No. It's like I saw the future.
[00:05:59] Speaker B: Oh, my goodness.
[00:06:01] Speaker C: And then finally, we're going to preview the Week Two matchup, monday Night Football matchup with the Schittsburg Steelers. So without further ado, let's get into the Burning River news story of the week.
[00:06:17] Speaker B: Good energy today, guys. Good energy. We are lit to start six good energy feeding off of it.
[00:06:22] Speaker C: Okay, so as of nine six, that's September 6.
Nice. I like that. You put the Bombers, the Bronx Bombers, they won four straight games leading up to that date, as well as seven of their last eight. And the hot streak has gotten their record back up to 500. So as of 96, they were 69 and 69.
This is a special moment because it's the first time that they were 69 and 69 since 19. 69.
69.
[00:06:54] Speaker B: Seption, big sex.
[00:06:57] Speaker C: A lot of 69s going on. It's pretty weird. So it's an extra sexual day there in New York, and everybody should be 69.
[00:07:09] Speaker B: Wine them, dine them, 69 them.
[00:07:11] Speaker C: Hell, yes.
[00:07:11] Speaker B: All right.
[00:07:15] Speaker C: Well, top of the morning to you.
[00:07:17] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:07:18] Speaker C: Oh, sorry. My Irish came out. I came back from Ireland and I forgot.
[00:07:21] Speaker B: Good morning. Thomas Shelby.
[00:07:23] Speaker C: Yeah. All right. Anyways, that takes us to the week one recap.
All right, so the Cleveland Browns destroyed the Cincinnati Bengals in the 100th edition of the Battle of Ohio. The score to that game, 24 to three. The Cincinnati Bengals offense, led by Joey B, the same Joey B that went 14 of 31 for 82 yards, no touchdowns, and is now one and five against the Browns. Jamar Chase and all his shit talking got him nowhere. Five receptions, 39 yards. Joe Mixon was the only semi bright spot for them. 13 carries, 56 yards, looked solid. But basically their offense was ass in this game, and our defense dominated. So we're doing things a little bit different this year. I'm going to run through the stats pretty quickly, and then we'll just have some discussion around the game. So the Bengals defense here, three sacks, did force one turnover, maybe two. I think it was two forced two turnovers. And then their special teams, evan McPherson was one of two on field goals scored, the only points for the Bengals, because they're not very good. No. At least not yet.
That takes us to the Cleveland Browns. Our offense led by Deshaun Watson. He was 16 of 29 for 154 yards, one touchdown, one interception, five carries for 45 yards and a touchdown. So a little bit more rushing prowess than our former quarterback, Baker Mayfield, but other than that, it was pretty much a Baker Mayfield game.
[00:08:51] Speaker B: Jacoby Brissette was our former quarterback, obviously.
[00:08:55] Speaker C: Before that, the guy that Deshaun Watson is replacing, he replaced you. I hate you.
[00:09:06] Speaker B: Did he not? Did he not?
[00:09:07] Speaker C: Yes, he did. Okay. Thank you. Thanks, Captain.
Next up, the man. I don't know what else I could say about Nick Chubb.
I don't know.
[00:09:19] Speaker B: He's the best there is.
[00:09:20] Speaker C: He's the best there ever was. 18 carries, 106 yards, four receptions for 21 yards, which is really cool. We'll talk about that a little bit later. But the fact that they're getting him involved with the passing game more, he did lead all Browns in receptions, so that's cool. Jerome Ford spelled him in this game. He did have another fumble. He's not looking good. So the more Jerome Ford fucks it up, the more we're going to see Nick Chubb get carries.
[00:09:45] Speaker B: Yeah, that's definitely a concern. Heading into the rest of the season? I don't think so. What they do at back or running back?
[00:09:51] Speaker C: Well, yeah, that's a concern, but for me it's the opposite of a concern because it means more Nick Chubb. Okay. The wide receivers more showed up or showed some flashes in different parts of the game. But it was tough to get the passing game going in this with all the rain, and nobody eclipsed 50 yards, so there's that.
But the defense, the defense was the star of this game, jim Schwartz.
[00:10:14] Speaker B: Jim SHORTZ.
[00:10:15] Speaker C: Hell yes. They looked phenomenal. A lot of energy from start to finish. Jim Schwartz. Jim Schwartz was running up and down the sidelines, helping to keep that energy at a high level. They were confident, they were disruptive, and they were relentless. So I hope this is what they look like every week, because if they do, the Cleveland Browns are going to be a problem.
Definitely the whole problem. And that's regardless of what the offense looks like, because this defense was stellar.
And that defense was led by Miles Garrett. Him and Akbo both were able to get a sack. Garrett was all over the place. He rushed from inside linebacker four times in this game.
On those four rushes, he had a sack. And then the other three plays, Joe burrow through incompletion. So just to put that into perspective, he had only 21 inside linebacker snaps in his previous six seasons.
So if this is the usage we're going to get, I love it. I love the creativity from Jim Schwartz moving him around. And Miles says this is now the standard for the defense. So a couple more stats and then we'll get to talking about the game here.
You guys could jump in. Stats are taking too long. Let's just talk about it. So just jump in.
[00:11:33] Speaker B: Yeah. So, look, here's my takeaway from the game. This defense, like you said, played phenomenally. The defensive line, I think, was the biggest thing that stood out to me, because it wasn't just Miles. Miles looked great, and they did have him all over the field, which is cool. I think he relishes to rush from the inside a little bit, whether it was from a linebacker spot or from right up on the nose tackles there. So just having him move around. But the other thing is, the other guys on that cast of defensive linemen now are players.
Joe Mixon is a good running back, not necessarily a great one, but they didn't have a ton of trouble containing him during the day, I would say. The other thing that stuck out to me, which I just have not seen with the Cleveland Browns team in my lifetime, and maybe this was just me. You have to watch for this in the next couple of weeks as well. But pursuit angles, this was the most disciplined team I've ever seen with pursuit angles to the ball as they tried to get the ball around the edge a couple of times or tried swing passes and things to Jamar, and they were beeline to the ball. This wasn't a bunch of guys that were just trying to stay out and stay in the area of catain. No, this was attack the football, which is a huge difference from what we've seen over the Browns defense for the last few years.
[00:12:59] Speaker C: And it's actually a really good point because the next person I want to bring up here and highlight on this defense was Grant Delpit. Absolutely showed up in this game.
[00:13:07] Speaker B: Sure did.
[00:13:07] Speaker C: Was literally everywhere. Eight tackles, one pass defense, one QB hit, one tackle for loss, and we finally saw the Dell Pit that we've been waiting for.
[00:13:19] Speaker B: And I think the rest of the secondary played well, too. I mean, I think they fed off of each other because Zell looked fine coming off concussion. He looked great in coverage a couple of times. I mean, those receivers were tied up all day long.
Emerson continues to make plays. He almost had that pick on the sideline there with the toe drag. So just a lot of optimism, I think. And this was without Juan Thornhill, who was a late scratch playing at all in this game. So McLeod came in and played quite a bit at the other safety, which.
[00:13:48] Speaker C: Was crazy because when we first picked up McLeod, right at that time, we didn't have Juan Thornhill, and we were all excited about him being the starter. Yeah. So, I mean, the depth on this team and you pointed out there with him coming in, and we don't miss a beat because we've got a phenomenal backup playing free safety for us that can step in when Juan Thornhill goes down. And, yeah, it was amazing.
[00:14:13] Speaker B: And I think with that cast, I think with the defensive line, if they can apply pressure like that all year, like you said, they're going to be a problem because it's going to give those defensive backs time to get in position and they can play aggressive routes. Absolutely. And then I think the other really good the positive for the defense in this game is the linebackers were where they were supposed to be. I'm not going to talk them up like, this is the best linebacking crew I've ever seen in football. But I wasn't like, these guys are a deficit.
[00:14:42] Speaker C: Where the hell did that guy go?
[00:14:43] Speaker B: Yeah. I mean takitaki j okay. Played well. Yeah. We even had a Taki Taki call out by whoever was commentating the game.
[00:14:52] Speaker C: Oh, that's the best call out. I sent it to you.
What did he say? He said what was the guy? Kappa? He said Kappa. Lost his Kappa there and Takitake made the tackle.
[00:15:03] Speaker B: Tackle, yes.
[00:15:05] Speaker C: It was one of the best calls I've heard in a know.
[00:15:07] Speaker B: Debbie said this defense is what carried the day against the Bengals. I think what was more concerning was I don't want to get overly excited and believe right away that this is the new Browns because I think in large part their effort, not that it was bad, it was awesome effort, but I do think that Joe Burrow was hampered significantly by the leg injury.
[00:15:37] Speaker C: You think it might have been more we smell blood in the water than necessarily like we can expect.
[00:15:43] Speaker B: Mean if they can do this every week in week out, great. They're going to be a huge problem for everyone in the league. But I just want to be careful that we're not overzealous week one against a guy who didn't play at all in the preseason, who missed 31 days of camp, who obviously was looking like he couldn't move very well in the pocket. He couldn't throw the ball a whole lot. They ran a lot of screens and things early. And if you watched him throw, he wasn't even throwing the ball. He was just shot putting it and he just wasn't not comfortable back there.
[00:16:13] Speaker C: So you mean to tell me you're not ready to say super Brown, Super Bowl, super Bowl, Super Browns?
[00:16:19] Speaker B: No, I would never say that because that's not a thing on our show. But be stealing from another show, but far inferior.
I just think the defense played great and it looked great. But let's not get carried away just yet. I want to see it against other teams throughout the year. I want them to sustain what they did against this mean the biggest thing, I think what was most important was they were able to wrap these receivers up. So whether or not Joe Burrow could throw the ball or not, and just apparently it was a monsoon, the receivers were held in check all day long. So even if Joe Burrow was able to get a pass off, it wasn't going anywhere. But come on. This is Joe Burrow. $275,000,000 quarterback Joe Burrow. He threw for 82 yards. This is the worst he's ever played in his entire career.
I have to imagine the next time we see Joe Burrow, things are going to be very different for them.
[00:17:14] Speaker C: Better for him.
[00:17:16] Speaker B: Yeah, just different, I will say. On the offensive side, Nick Chubb again carries a day 100 yards rushing.
[00:17:23] Speaker C: We'll talk about him again in a second.
[00:17:25] Speaker B: He's just an automatic hunter yards. Anytime you give him the ball, all.
[00:17:28] Speaker C: He'S got to do is get the rock.
[00:17:29] Speaker B: And we've always said he has underrated hands and they should throw him the ball. Oh, my God.
[00:17:33] Speaker C: If they keep throwing him the ball, I will be full chub every.
[00:17:39] Speaker B: Mean how could you not be? Big sex.
[00:17:44] Speaker C: So much sex.
[00:17:47] Speaker B: Even our receivers looked okay. I think we had receivers open during the day. What was frustrating was Deshaun's inability to get them the ball.
[00:17:55] Speaker C: He was having a lot of trouble hanging on to it.
[00:17:57] Speaker B: He was having a lot of trouble. And so is Joe Burrow. So I'm like, I'm not going to get down totally onto Sean about that because there was something weird going on that we weren't able to see from the TV screen. But what I can tell you is this is that it was 70 degrees. There wasn't a whole lot of rain in the forecast, and it did rain quite a bit.
But it's September in Ohio and Cleveland, and if the weather and the elements are getting to you in September on a 70 deg day when it's wet, that makes me nervous for November and December.
[00:18:27] Speaker C: Always talking about the silver lining. I love that.
[00:18:30] Speaker B: I'm just saying, if you look at.
[00:18:32] Speaker C: Thanks for bringing it back to Earth. I was on cloud nine. We dominated the Bengals to open the season. Then Kenny comes here and shits all over my party.
[00:18:38] Speaker B: If you look at the AFC North quarterbacks this year, in week one, Deshaun Watson's performance was three out of four.
Four was Joe Burrow. So every the other quarterbacks in the division played better.
[00:18:51] Speaker C: Pickett played better.
[00:18:51] Speaker B: Even Kenny Pickett played better.
[00:18:53] Speaker C: That feels bad. Yeah, because he's trash.
[00:18:55] Speaker B: Because he's absolutely trash.
[00:18:56] Speaker C: We'll get to but rounding out the Browns special teams, Dustin Hopkins. He's here and he's perfect.
Three out of three field goals, one for one extra point. And just so you guys know, in case you didn't know already, there is someone just shut up.
There's someone that is acting like Dustin Hopkins on X, the artist formerly known as Twitter. They got kind of this account, and they've only put like six posts, but basically the account is dedicated to saying, you're welcome Cleveland every time he makes a field goal. And it was hilarious to follow throughout the game.
[00:19:34] Speaker B: It's pretty funny. Look, it was good that the special teams unit made their kicks.
Thankfully, this wasn't the game that we needed them, but it was just nice to see the ball go through the uprights.
[00:19:45] Speaker C: Yeah.
Following special teams, we have coaching. We do talk about coaching quite a bit on this show because I think people don't understand how much coaching goes into winning and losing. They think the players control everything, but coaching is a huge part of it. So we want to touch on that. Not touch on the coaches.
[00:20:03] Speaker B: Just touch on the you want to touch on Stefanski.
[00:20:06] Speaker C: Stefanik, as we typically call him, because we have no respect for him up to this point.
He actually I was somewhat impressed by the fact that as he realized that the passing game was not going to work throughout this game, he did turn to Nick Chubb and just started feeding him the rock.
[00:20:27] Speaker B: Yeah. After those first couple of drives, that was what was on my mind was, oh God, we going to continue. I mean, Deshaun was throwing ground balls again like it was to that point.
[00:20:36] Speaker C: Oh, yeah. There were so many under thrown balls in those first two.
[00:20:41] Speaker B: I was so Mark Goodwin got loose on the one and he way under threw him there.
So I just was asking myself in that moment, like, is Stefanski going to continue to do this?
[00:20:54] Speaker C: That's what cost his games.
[00:20:55] Speaker B: All that's what costs his games, and to his credit, made an adjustment and said, you know what? The weather is difficult out here.
[00:21:02] Speaker C: Obviously.
[00:21:05] Speaker B: Challenging for both quarterbacks, and we're going to do something different here. And they did. And that was all she wrote because the momentum changed when Nick Chubb started running The Rock. Yeah, absolutely. And it never went back. I never felt like we were going to lose that game after Nick Chubb was the focal point of the offense.
[00:21:22] Speaker C: So I'm going to do this for one week at least, and we'll see how next week's game pans out. But for one week, we're giving Stefanski back his name. He is Kevin Stefanski.
[00:21:31] Speaker B: Kevin Stefanski. He's back.
[00:21:32] Speaker C: So he's back. Next up, Jim Schwartz. Jim Schwartz. Super excited about this. Everything that we hoped for when we brought him in as the defensive coordinator seemed to come to fruition in game one.
So I'm hoping that continues. Obviously, it's early, still only one game in small sample size, but I mean, if this is what we have to look forward to the entire season, I'm fucking excited.
[00:21:57] Speaker B: Wow.
Agreed. Look, I think shorts, like you said, everything that we hoped we were getting out of Jim shorts is everything that we saw in week one.
So I just think it's a matter of they have to sustain this because we see every year games in September in the NFL are a little bit wonky because a lot of teams rest their starters in the preseason don't play them at all. And Kevin Stefancy just plays them in the last week of the preseason.
So a lot of these games early in the season can be a little bit weird. Clearly a weird game when Joe Burrow throws for under 90 yards. So we have to figure out, was that the defense, was it the rain, was it Joe Burrow? Was it his calf? I don't know yet. But all things pointing to the defense and the alignment and the things that they were trying to do, they were able to do everything that they wanted to do, which is a good sign. I got nothing to complain about.
[00:22:52] Speaker C: Yeah, absolutely.
We are super excited about him. I will say this. Even besides the defense itself, the fact I mentioned earlier that he's running up and down the sideline and helping to keep that energy up.
[00:23:05] Speaker B: Yeah. And that's what you don't leading by.
[00:23:07] Speaker C: Example, which is something you were never going to get out of Preaver, and.
[00:23:10] Speaker B: You didn't get out of Stefanski. No, Stefanski is not a rah rah guy at all. So even after the win in the locker room when they were giving away game balls, it was like he was sleepwalking.
And so, yeah, to have a guy on that sideline now that's ready to just kick anybody's ass and needs it, it's a good thing.
[00:23:31] Speaker C: And rounding out the coaches here, we got Bubba Ventron. Looks much better now that he has a competent kicker.
Special teams are special teams. They weren't a deficit.
[00:23:39] Speaker B: They haven't had a chance to let you down yet, especially with the new kick rule this year that allows you to just basically free catch, free fair catch, anything inside the 25, and they just give you the ball.
Just the NFL's effort to lessen the impact of special teams and special teams plays. So we'll see along the season, like, at what point does the special teams let us down? Hopefully it's not in an important spot, but we'll see.
[00:24:06] Speaker C: Yeah. So overall, let's run through this real quick. Cleveland Browns total yards, 350 21 1st downs, two turnovers, five penalties for 43 yards. Time of possession, 35 50. The Cincinnati Bengals total yards, 142. Only six first downs. They didn't have any turnovers, though, but they had four penalties for 20 yards, and their time of possession was 24 ten.
So basically, the Browns dominated in all facets of the game. And you know what we say to the Cincinnati Bengals and any division rival for that matter.
[00:24:35] Speaker B: FM.
[00:24:36] Speaker C: FM.
Which is why I wore this today. So all the haters out there as well.
[00:24:42] Speaker B: FM. FM.
[00:24:44] Speaker C: So excited for the Browns season to start this way real quick. In other Browns news, Jake Paul in an interview said he's starting to transition to being a Bengals fan after 26 years of terror from the Browns.
[00:24:55] Speaker B: Good.
[00:24:55] Speaker C: How's that working out for you?
[00:24:56] Speaker B: Isn't he like, the Browns social media correspondent?
[00:24:59] Speaker C: No, it's his brother.
[00:25:00] Speaker B: Oh, it's his brother. Well, they're from Ohio. Logan Paul look, I guess I give some credence to like, if you have lived here and dealt with this I don't it's different than, you know, what.
[00:25:11] Speaker C: I say to Jake Paul.
[00:25:12] Speaker B: FM.
[00:25:12] Speaker C: And his brother. FM.
And then finally, Jim Donovan stepping away for leukemia treatment. His send off after the game was very sad. But we know Jim Donovan, he's going to battle and he's going to be back.
[00:25:25] Speaker B: Hey. And they sent him off with a yes. So keep those good vibes. Nick Harris, the fullback, jump the tail back. Watson turns, rolls out to the right, looks open. Touchdown. Harrison Bryant, wide open, the tight end on the right side. And with 911 left to go in the ball game, it's beginning to feel like a bronze win today, 22 to three.
It's time for the division roundup.
[00:25:56] Speaker C: I guess it's time for the division roundup.
All right, so real quick here. The Baltimore Ravens defeated the Houston Texans easily.
I'm not even going to go through what happened in the games. I'm just going to let you know they beat them easily and we'll recap our picks. So I was right. Kenny was right, and Zach was right. Everybody was right.
[00:26:19] Speaker B: Everybody's right.
[00:26:20] Speaker C: Bone man. Thunder and jams. All right.
And then next up, we had Pittsburgh. They got shit on by the 49 Ers.
[00:26:28] Speaker B: I eat pieces of shit like you for breakfast.
[00:26:30] Speaker C: You eat pieces of shit for breakfast.
[00:26:32] Speaker B: At one point, Pittsburgh had 199 total yards. I'm sorry. The 49 Ers had 199 total yards and Pittsburgh had one.
[00:26:39] Speaker C: Yeah, it was bad. We were all right in that. We all picked the 49 Ers. And then finally, our game. The Cleveland Browns against the Cincinnati Bengals. And this is where it gets interesting, as always.
[00:26:51] Speaker B: Here we go.
[00:26:52] Speaker C: The person that was wrong was Kenny Thunder. Both Bone Man and myself were right. And so that means that me and Bone Man start three and O, and Kenny Thunder is already bringing up the rear at two and one.
You love the rear.
[00:27:05] Speaker B: I do. Big six.
Look, I call him in lithium. I thought Joe Burrow was not going to have the worst game of his career, but he did.
[00:27:14] Speaker C: And here we are.
[00:27:16] Speaker B: But look, I'm never upset to be wrong about a Browns win. So, look, if I lose by as many games as I picked the Browns to lose each year because they win each week, then I guess I have coming to me what is coming to me.
[00:27:30] Speaker C: Yeah. Which we'll find out what that is. I don't know. We'll talk more about that in King of the north.
But anyways, that leads us to the Sportscast Dog of the Week.
[00:27:42] Speaker E: Doesn't matter, man. You got to play tough people in the National Football League. You got to be ready, and we got to be the dogs that we are every time we step on there on Sunday and be ready to attack.
[00:27:52] Speaker C: And don't stop until all right, so who else here? You already know who it is. He'll probably be the Dog of the Week at least 50% of the season. Nick Chubb, the dude ran for over 100 yards. We mentioned it earlier. He had 18 carries for 106 yards and added four receptions for 21 yards. Did not find the end zone, but it didn't matter. He kept the offense going all night long and helped us dominate the Cincinnati Bengals.
[00:28:18] Speaker B: I didn't like that. It felt intentional that they would get down to the one or two yard line and Stefanski would then throw the ball for the touchdown. Instead of letting Nick Chubb just know.
[00:28:28] Speaker C: Air rate offense, he's got to show him.
[00:28:29] Speaker B: Look, here's the thing. Nick Chubb is God's gift to man. Period.
[00:28:33] Speaker C: That's true. I mean, I'm not going to argue.
[00:28:34] Speaker B: If you aren't just soaking this in as a Browns fan.
[00:28:37] Speaker C: Oh, I thought you were going to say if you aren't just soaking wet right now.
[00:28:41] Speaker B: That too. You should be so wet and so hard.
Because if you are not just enjoying this time to watch what is an absolute generational. Talent play for your football team.
[00:28:54] Speaker C: It's unreal.
[00:28:55] Speaker B: You're never going to see it's going to be decades before you see somebody look this good in brown and orange.
[00:29:00] Speaker C: Legitimately insane. I watched the games, and there are actually times in an NFL game where he looks like he's playing against peewee kids.
[00:29:08] Speaker B: He's just so good.
[00:29:10] Speaker C: It's just stupid how good he is. But yeah. So, Nick Chubb week one's burning over Sportscast dog of the week.
And that leads us to around the NFL.
Starting off around the NFL, russell Wilson is still washed. Before I get into him, actually, I would like to say that we have a big Russell Wilson fan that has joined the podcast recently. The big Bone Man took Russell Wilson about twelve years in a row in our fantasy Football league, and his team name is historically Russell will Tussle. Would you like to comment on that, Bone Man?
[00:29:59] Speaker F: Russell will continue to tussle. He'll be back.
I still love Russell Wilson.
I think he's going to have a good year.
[00:30:08] Speaker C: Oh, wow.
[00:30:09] Speaker F: I think he's going to surprise some folks.
[00:30:10] Speaker C: Well, just so you know, he's still washed and he started off the season like trash. They lost to the Raiders 17 to 16, and he only threw for 177 yards.
[00:30:19] Speaker B: Hold on, that's 25 more than Deshaun through for.
[00:30:21] Speaker C: Let's not go there. Deshaun won, though.
Here's the deal. Russell Wilson is just not that good anymore. I know Bone Man, you like to say he's going to bounce back. He can have your opinion, your opinion drawn.
Russell Wilson's washed.
[00:30:35] Speaker B: Here's the thing about that game is.
[00:30:37] Speaker C: I'm just happy I get to keep talking about him being washed.
[00:30:39] Speaker B: You lost to the Raiders who are being led by Jimmy G.
There's definitely no just it just spells, I think, bad news for the start of not just Russell Wilson in Denver, but Sean Payton as well.
[00:30:56] Speaker C: Yeah. In case anyone was wondering, I just made a Johnny G reference there. Johnny G, john Goodman greatest American actor.
[00:31:01] Speaker B: Johnny Goodman is without a doubt the greatest American actor of all time. If there was a Mount Rushmore of actors, American actors, it would just be four John Goodman faces right in a row.
[00:31:09] Speaker C: Absolutely. I can't argue with that whatsoever.
[00:31:11] Speaker B: No one can.
[00:31:13] Speaker C: Yeah, so like I said, Jimmy G, no Johnny G.
Next up, the Giants get shit on by the Cowboys 40 to nothing. So starting this year the Giants are starting this year in much different fashion than they did last year.
And I think it's safe to say, sure, he might have a couple of good games here and there, but Daniel Jones not that good.
[00:31:34] Speaker B: I think it just goes to show you how quick you can be in favor in the NFL one year and the next, your whole world falls apart. I'm watching the game with my parents, with my mom last night because I'm homeless right now. Yeah.
[00:31:48] Speaker C: When is your house going to be finished ever.
[00:31:50] Speaker B: It's a few weeks, hopefully, so that we can come back and live here. But then she's like, who is? This is embarrassing. I was like, I agree. She's like, Is this team not good? And I was like, well, they were in the playoffs last year. I don't really have an explanation for you this year.
[00:32:03] Speaker C: That goes from playoffs out of the playoffs.
[00:32:05] Speaker B: Yeah. Like, how are you so bad? I don't know. I mean, it doesn't make any sense. I don't believe the Cowboys are that good, but they're not bad. I think the Cowboys are going to probably make some noise this year. There'll be a playoff team, probably, but they just won't make it very far because they never.
[00:32:19] Speaker C: And I will say this about Daniel Jones, I just said he isn't that good. Which I stand by, and I will continue to stand by, but Daniel Jones is legitimately poor, man's. Josh Allen, he does everything that Josh Allen does, but not nearly as good.
[00:32:32] Speaker B: His hair is definitely not as good.
[00:32:34] Speaker C: Like, nothing about him is as good as Josh Allen, but he's their quarterback.
[00:32:39] Speaker B: He got a second contract.
[00:32:40] Speaker C: Yeah, I guess.
Speaking of quarterbacks, though, we'll move on to a good quarterback, at least when he's healthy. Tua is back to playing at a really high level, and Miami defeated the Chargers 36 to 34.
[00:32:56] Speaker B: Hell of a game.
[00:32:57] Speaker C: It was a great game. And in this game, Tyreek Hill went off eleven receptions for 215 yards and two touchdowns. I've got him in fantasy, and he says he's breaking the receiving yards record this year. And I would say that he's off to a pretty good start.
[00:33:12] Speaker B: I don't understand this Miami team.
I know Tua was good in college and he's good in the NFL. I guess I don't look at Tua and think, this guy, he's going to beat us. This is the stud quarterback of the NFL, but he keeps 460 some yards yesterday.
[00:33:32] Speaker C: The crazy thing is, too, is I agree with you. I don't think in my head, like, man, I don't think him really scares me.
Think about it. When he's been healthy, he's been phenomenal.
[00:33:43] Speaker B: Yeah. When his brain hasn't been mushed, he's been great. I just wonder how long before his brain turns to mashed potatoes again.
[00:33:51] Speaker C: What's the over underbone, man.
[00:33:55] Speaker F: On what.
[00:33:57] Speaker C: Games that tool will play before he gets another concussion.
[00:34:00] Speaker F: Yeah, now you're being clear. Sorry about that.
[00:34:02] Speaker C: Have you had a concussion? Are you concussed?
[00:34:05] Speaker F: I might have some CTE. That's very possible.
[00:34:08] Speaker C: You were middle linebacker at 178 pounds.
[00:34:12] Speaker F: That took a lot of hits to the head.
[00:34:16] Speaker C: So what is the over under?
[00:34:19] Speaker F: Seven games.
[00:34:20] Speaker C: Seven games. That's what you're giving him? I'm going to take the over. I'm going to say he makes it eight.
[00:34:23] Speaker B: I'm going to say he makes it four.
[00:34:25] Speaker C: Wow. All right, well 40 01:00 p.m.
[00:34:28] Speaker B: Okay. 09:41 P.m.
[00:34:29] Speaker C: Okay. Who's doing that?
[00:34:31] Speaker B: Is that your watch bone just got an iPhone, doesn't know how to work it.
[00:34:36] Speaker C: I don't think that was me unless.
[00:34:38] Speaker F: I set a reminder for 09:41 p.m..
[00:34:42] Speaker C: Who doesn't set a reminder for 09:41 p.m.?
[00:34:45] Speaker B: Tony takes his little blue pill.
[00:34:47] Speaker C: Yeah. So next up, Jordan Love. We're just talking about the quarterbacks. Apparently, Jordan love starts his time at the helm in green Bay with a win over Chicago, which actually is pretty interesting because nobody was sure how green bay was going to fare this year as they transitioned to Jordan Love. And everybody's been hyping up Chicago and talking about how Justin fields is going to take that next step and whatever else. And Chicago, they just got stomped by Green Bay and Justin fields had a pretty rough time being trusted to guide the passing game much more in the second.
[00:35:22] Speaker B: What the look, I like Justin Fields. I wish him the best. I don't know what the false bravado was around him all offseason that he was going to come in and make this huge leap and light the league on fire. I also don't know that Jordan love is as good as he played with green Bay this weekend. I just think Chicago's ass trash and Jordan love got him at a good time and hopefully for both of those guys, they can figure it.
I just I don't have a whole lot of hope for Justin fields to be good in to I said this last year. I think if Justin fields has a future in the NFL, he has to get out of.
I just I think Jordan love is probably a mediocre NFL quarterback at best right now.
[00:36:01] Speaker C: So you're sticking by that for the season, though. Chicago's ass trash.
[00:36:05] Speaker B: Oh, I will die on that hill. Yeah, they're going to probably win five for less games.
[00:36:09] Speaker C: So Justin Fields, as we mentioned, being trusted to really guide that passing game and take that next step this year, threw a pick six in this one, had a fumble and had 37 attempts but only 216 yards.
[00:36:22] Speaker B: The league was weird in week one, and I don't know what to attribute that to because outside of tua, a lot of good quarterbacks had struggled and there was some weather in a couple of places. It rained and I mean, even the Dallas game and medlife had rain. So I don't know what to make.
[00:36:37] Speaker C: Of you know, they call week one leading into week two, the week of overreaction, and I think that's kind of what we're seeing across the board right now.
[00:36:48] Speaker B: Yeah, I mean, I think there's a lot of stories that are going to look very different next week.
[00:36:53] Speaker C: Yep, I agree. Next up here, Cadarius. Tony taking the entire blame for the chiefs loss to Detroit to open the season. He had three major drops. But the bigger story here to me, honestly, is how well Jared Goff and the lions have played to finish last season. And start this season. They're nine and two in their last eleven games, and it's looking like they got something really cooking up there in Detroit, so they may be a team to look out for this season.
[00:37:19] Speaker B: Look, I think they're absolutely a team to look out for this year. I think Jared Goff is in the same boat as Gino Smith is in the same boat as a lot of guys that were cut out of their roles early but could play. I mean, Jared Goff went to a super bowl in his first like, it's not like this guy is totally incompetent. And if he has the right pieces around him, a coach that believes in him, you can do a lot. Just like Gino Smith did last year. I think Baker's probably in the same boat. If Baker can find some support by a head coach like Todd Bowles, he could have a nice year down there in Tampa Bay. So I just think it's so easy to give up on these guys and go next up, next man up, the most popular guy in every town is the backup quarterback.
Even here, people are like, yeah, DTR, go for it.
[00:38:04] Speaker C: DTR.
[00:38:05] Speaker B: $230,000,000 guaranteed in deshaun. Let's just let this rookie play get out.
I think Detroit is definitely I don't think they're a sleeper team at this point. I think Dan Campbell has a team playing a really good football.
We all made fun of his opening press conference where he said that they were going to bite people's kneecaps off, but that's the culture that he's built there is like hard nosed, tough ass. We're going to kick you in the teeth.
And I love it. I'm here for it.
[00:38:34] Speaker C: Yeah. So shout out to my dad because he's a huge Detroit Lions fan, so I'm sure he's really excited seeing this. My dad was born in, I think, Cadillac, Michigan, so grew up watching them and loves them.
[00:38:47] Speaker B: GM town, baby.
I also would say that I had my season long pickhams with my friends, and I did pick Detroit to win.
[00:38:58] Speaker C: That game, so hell yes, that's a bold thing to start out with.
[00:39:03] Speaker B: That's a bold pick.
[00:39:04] Speaker C: Yeah.
But anyways, next up here as if we didn't talk about quarterbacks enough, it's been all about quarterbacks around the league, but the big three rookie quarterbacks had their debuts, and Anthony Richardson looked by far the best.
The Colts hung tough with Jacksonville for most of the game, which Jacksonville has a solid team this season and everybody knows it, and so it was an accomplishment for Anthony Richardson. In a Colts team without Jonathan Taylor, that really doesn't look great, even on paper, to hang with them for as long as they did. And then just on the other side of that, bryce Young and CJ. Stroud both had lopsided losses to their respective opponents and didn't look good at all.
[00:39:46] Speaker B: Yeah, I would say Jacksonville is probably the top pick coming out of the AC South this year. So they're a good football team. Most people expect them to be a wild card or playoff contender.
Anthony Richardson, look, I mean, the dude is just a freak athlete.
So I think in the short term that bodes well for him because as you're figuring out, he can lean on that. But ultimately, just like with Deshaun or any mobile quarterback, you're watching guys like Jalen Hurts and some of these guys and you just say, how long can you continue to play like that? Because at some point if you're going to play in the league for a long time and be one of the best there ever was, you have to learn to throw from the pocket.
It's mandated you can have a nice career, but it's going to be short if you're going to play physical football like that. And Anthony Richardson could get away with that for a while, but he's going to have to have somebody teach him to play quarterback at some point.
[00:40:45] Speaker C: Speaking of which, it was actually a really classy move after the game. Trevor Lawrence, it was caught on the microphones when they were meeting at midfield. He basically told him, you know, the NFL is a different game, the hits feel different, so you need to learn to get down and protect yourself. So it's just a classy move to give that advice, especially to somebody that you're going to be playing multiple times each year.
[00:41:12] Speaker B: Right? Maybe Sherwood Lawrence will take him under his wing. Maybe. But look, I would say this too, about Bryce Young and CJ stroud. I think they both have the higher upside because I think both of them are capable from playing from the pocket and being more cerebral as a quarterback. Whereas I think Anthony Richardson just is. He can do anything. I think that eventually that'll get you into trouble.
[00:41:38] Speaker C: Yeah. So that'll do it for around the NFL. Next up, we've got an interview with the Pittsburgh Brownsbackers and in case you guys didn't know, we're going to be doing an interview each week with a Brownsbackers organization from the area of the team that we are playing. The only exception to that is the division rivals. We will do an interview with the Brownsbackers organization from their respective areas on the weeks that we're away playing division rivals and on the weeks that we're home, we will interview a Cleveland based Brownsbackers organization. So Brownsbackers all season long. And this week we have the Pittsburgh Brownsbackers.
[00:42:17] Speaker B: Paul, yeah, we get to talk to Paul next. Courtesy Riverside FM powered by Riverside FM.
[00:42:28] Speaker C: All right, thanks for joining us, Paul, from the Pittsburgh Browns backers. Obviously you're based in Pittsburgh, we're terribly sorry about that ground zero there.
But can you tell us a little bit about the chapter over there when you guys were established? What's your viewing location, members, those types of things?
[00:42:48] Speaker D: Okay, yeah, this is a little unique to be in Pittsburgh for a number of reasons, which I'll touch on, but we've switched viewing locations for various reasons. But I started the club back in 2000, and I've been the president ever since then. We have about 500 active members. We are currently meeting at 202 hometown Tacos in Bellevue. I know it sounds wonky, but they have TVs for us, and this is our second year there.
So some of the unique things about being in Pittsburgh you asked about charity. We do have a charity, and we have raised money, but it's very difficult to raise money the old fashioned way if you're a Brownsbacker club in, like, you know, we're not having a car wash because people are not stopping at the Pittsburgh Brownsbacker car wash. So we face a lot of challenges because of that and get bounced around a lot with locations. Two years ago, we had a really great location, but because it's the success of the Bills, we kept shrinking our TVs that they would put on the Browns game, and the Bills fans just overtook us, basically.
So that was a bummer, but that's the kind of challenges we face.
[00:44:05] Speaker C: Got you. And you said over 500 members. That's quite an organization you guys got going over there.
[00:44:11] Speaker D: Yeah, I would say active members are probably more under 200.
[00:44:16] Speaker C: Okay, well, it's still impressive being that you are behind enemy lines and right there in the heart of the team that we hate most.
First of all, I guess great hearing about your chapter and everything, but I just want to ask you, how did you think that the Browns looked this past week against the Cincinnati Bengals?
[00:44:38] Speaker D: Yeah, I was absolutely mean. I haven't seen the Browns play such a complete know. Deshaun looked okay. He was good enough to win. I think he'll come around. But, like, almost no criticisms of the defense and the special teams, which, man, we haven't had that in years.
Usually we're at our location and everybody's gloom and doom. Even if we're winning, they think we're going to lose for sure.
And just to see like a kneel down at the end of the game, see them bring in their second string quarterback, man, that hasn't happened in a long time. So that was great.
[00:45:13] Speaker C: I did hear after the game, just unfortunately, to talk about your point there, where everybody's kind of doom and gloom and it's always assuming the worst.
It does suck that we feel that way sometimes, but this was the first game that I can remember, and I heard this on the radio earlier this week and after the game yesterday, and I agree with it that on third downs especially, we were out on the field. The defense was out on the field. And I couldn't help but thinking pretty much every time I was like, we're getting off the field.
[00:45:43] Speaker B: It's happening.
[00:45:43] Speaker C: We're getting off the field, and the offense is going to be back out there, and I can't remember the last time that I felt that way watching a Browns game.
[00:45:51] Speaker D: I agree 100%.
[00:45:52] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:45:53] Speaker B: Now, Paul, are you a transplant or did you grow up in and around Ohio, or have you always been in the Pittsburgh area?
[00:46:01] Speaker C: No.
[00:46:05] Speaker D: I went to Cleveland Heights High for one year, and then I went to Solan.
Then I went to college at Heidelberg. College? Then I went to medical school in Toledo, and then I ended up coming to Pittsburgh for residency, and I just met a girl, and I stuck here. We actually live in a house that was built in 1877. It's so close to Hinesfield, you can hear, like, the calls.
[00:46:32] Speaker C: That's how close Acresure Stadium now, because that's a cool name.
[00:46:37] Speaker D: That's, right?
[00:46:37] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:46:40] Speaker C: No, but that's awesome. That is really cool that you're out there still holding it down for the Browns.
[00:46:48] Speaker B: Do you have other officers within your organization that try to help you put on events and things?
[00:46:55] Speaker D: Yeah, my vice president mostly is Jeff, and the things that we can do are, like, raffles within the club, 50 50 within the club. It's really the only way. And selling t shirts that we earn revenue and to give to charities and to keep Know website going and stuff. But, yeah, I have some help. But we're admittedly not the most organized Brownsbacker club. Like, when you look at somebody like Bud Genovese down in California there, he's retired. I'm still working. I have little kids.
[00:47:37] Speaker C: It's just amazing the things that the Browns backers organizations do at all levels. I mean, whether you're given a lot or given a little, every little bit helps. And so what you guys all do is fantastic.
Getting back to the Browns a little bit here, we talked about last week. They looked phenomenal against the Bengals, a complete game, as you said. What are your expectations and what are the expectations of your chapter?
As you can see, at least for the rest of the season, for the.
[00:48:10] Speaker D: I mean, our we get a lot of local games and that kind of siphons off a lot of people sometimes, so we get less numbers because we have a lot of people that have the season tickets, too. So the best games for us are away games where it's not on local TV, and those are now few and far between. I remember, like, both Pittsburgh game and Browns game was on, know, Sunday. I don't remember when they used to put two AFC games on at the same time, but I know they do now. So it's a challenge. And this is the week I get all the phone calls from people. Where's your tailgate? Where are you guys meeting down there?
Where's your block of tickets? And I'm like, none of that is happening at all because the Sealers are not falling over us to give us like, a block of 40 tickets as Brown fans. So we don't do anything down by the stadium pretty much because we just don't have access to tickets.
[00:49:07] Speaker C: One of those things they like to keep us.
[00:49:14] Speaker B: Mean at these events for viewing especially. Does it seem to go relatively well each week or is there a lot of hostility just in terms of just local folks being out that are Steelers fans?
[00:49:28] Speaker D: It's varied from venue to venue.
When we were with the Bills, they didn't care about the Browns, so it was fine then. There were no Steeler fans in this bar. We used to have a place called Peter's Pub, which is downtown and Pitt campus. And that was great because I asked the guy to make it a private party for us upstairs so we could turn Steeler jerseys away and tell him leave, which was great.
The current place is a little bit of a hybrid. They don't really open on Sunday, but now he's thinking about opening up to Steeler fans. We had a handful of Steeler fans, but we had the big crowd though, so we'll have to see how it goes.
[00:50:04] Speaker B: So when you're you said you bounced around a little bit.
How does that conversation go as a Browns fan, a Brownsbackers organization to local pub or bar that says, hey, I want to bring my group of 200 Browns fans out to your bar, reach the week.
[00:50:19] Speaker E: Right.
[00:50:19] Speaker D: Well, it goes great when it's 200 and then usually by the eigth game, there's five people there. And so that's what I'm arguing. The guy at the current place is like, I can't afford to have five people at your game. And I'm like, no, this is the year we're going to be good. Like I said, that every year.
We deal with a lot of that.
[00:50:40] Speaker C: Yeah, I can only imagine, especially with some of the tough years that we've had and how the fans dwindle as the season goes on.
But no, with that being said, we do have a pretty strong team, we hope, this year. Do you have any record predictions for the rest of the season or anything that you guys are looking that you expect out of the team?
[00:51:04] Speaker D: I mean, one game at a time. I think we'll beat the Steelers on Monday night.
I think Kenny Pickett, who they've anointed into the hall of Fame here in Pittsburgh is not really hall of Fame.
I think their defense is really suspect. We kind of watched that game side watch that game and I watched it again today, actually, just to see it.
They need to fix a lot.
[00:51:30] Speaker B: That's a great segue there, actually, because I think we've heard that a lot on just local Cleveland radio around Kenny Pickett and the expectations for him. This just I just wanted to kind of get your feel again. His boots on the ground there. It seems like folks have lost their minds out there. We're like, hey, it's Pickett. Like he's not the second coming, but you wouldn't know that by listening to the local Pittsburgh radio.
[00:51:56] Speaker D: Yeah, he's Dan Marino, he came from Pitt and it was a homer pick and he's not big and he's just not that great. I don't a I actually predict he won't be playing at the second half of the season.
[00:52:13] Speaker C: Nice bold prediction. I like that.
[00:52:16] Speaker B: Yeah, I don't think it's a stretch.
[00:52:18] Speaker C: It needs to be on the hot take hotline.
[00:52:19] Speaker B: I'm just curious, is it a genuine reaction from Steelers fans or do you think it's just, hey, they're used to being on the top of the division every year and they know Mike Tomlin puts a pretty decent team out every genuine feeling around him.
[00:52:39] Speaker D: Tomlin's never had a losing season so they have no reason to think that's ever going to happen.
But yeah, I think it's a pretty genuine feeling among the diehard Steeler fans that Kenny Pickett is the answer.
[00:52:51] Speaker C: Wow, I hope they keep feeling that way.
As long as they keep feeling that way, I think we've got the upper hand.
But no, I mean you touched on watching the game kind of sidewatching that game this past week and then rewatching it today. That's why we like to talk to the Brownsbackers from the respective town of whoever we're going to be playing that week is because you get a little bit more exposure. So you have some of this inside information that you've already touched on as far as them loving Kenny Pickett and putting him in the hall of Fame and all of that, you know, besides the talk is there, what else are they saying over there? What do they think of the team this year? How do they think the team is going to fare as the season goes on?
[00:53:36] Speaker D: I mean, I talked to somebody today. Rational people say the Steelers are going to suck.
Irrational people saying that they're going to be great and they're going to overcome have it's just like Browns fans. You have just a variable confidence after game know some people are still in and then oh man. One of the things we love to do as Browns fans in Pittsburgh is turn on the talk radio from Pittsburgh in the morning after a Steeler loss and it is the most satisfying thing to hear. All these yenzers melting down. It's hilarious.
[00:54:14] Speaker B: Do you have a favorite local show there in Pittsburgh?
[00:54:18] Speaker D: A favorite local what show?
[00:54:21] Speaker B: Like Ponya Molar or is there a specific show that you guys listen to? Generally over.
[00:54:27] Speaker D: They got this guy who's really not considered a Steeler fan. He's more hockey. He's called Mark Madden.
That's a big show. And then there's other ones. I'm not as into this as my Browns fans friends are and I just rather listen to the Cleveland talk radio. We actually have. I don't know if I can plug radio show. Can I plug a radio show?
[00:54:48] Speaker C: Yeah, you could.
[00:54:50] Speaker D: So this Monday coming up, we have the really big show, ESPN Cleveland coming to our bar and broadcasting at 09:00 to 01:00 and they're going to be there on Tuesday as well. So there's like a big outdoor space at our bar. So it's a big deal for us. I'm not even sure I can make it, but that should be really awesome.
[00:55:11] Speaker B: Yeah, that's awesome.
[00:55:12] Speaker C: That is awesome.
No problem plugging other shows. I mean, we're equal opportunity here. We're all in the business, so we get it.
But no.
Speaking of the game coming up, obviously that's the reason we're talking to you. Do you have a prediction for the upcoming game, a score prediction? Yeah.
[00:55:39] Speaker D: I think it's going to look very similar to how we played the Bengals. They might score a ten, but we're going to score at least 24. That's my prediction.
[00:55:48] Speaker C: So an easy win for the Browns and taking us to two and O to start the season for the first time since I don't know.
[00:55:59] Speaker D: I mean, all the signs are there. So based on how the Steelers did and based on how the Browns did it should yeah.
[00:56:12] Speaker C: Well, hey, Paul, I really appreciate the time that you've taken and joined our show. Here some really good insight for Pittsburgh and what we can expect from them and their fans this week.
[00:56:26] Speaker B: Before we hop off, I just wanted to personally apologize to all the Browns fans, especially in Pittsburgh, because we do on our show talk a bit of trash and bit of shit. So I just want you to know that if you happen to come across a clip of us saying don't give.
[00:56:43] Speaker C: A damn for the entire city of Pittsburgh, paul, you exclude you.
[00:56:47] Speaker B: We like you, Paul. You and your friends at the Brownsbackers organization. None of what we have attributed to Pittsburgh or the yinzers applies to you and your friends. I just wanted to, again, personally apologize, make sure we cleared the air there. So if you happen to see something, you aren't taking it personally because we're on your side here.
[00:57:03] Speaker D: I appreciate know living here, just put in the plug for Pittsburgh. I've lived here more of my life in Pittsburgh and I still love Cleveland to death. But this is a really cool city and I cheer for all the other miserable teams, like their miserable baseball team. Their hockey team is not miserable, but I do cheer for them. But I just can't do the Steelers thing. Never.
[00:57:26] Speaker C: Good. Don't ever do it. No. But again, thank you so much for joining us. We really appreciate your time and we hope that you are correct and we end up two and O after this next week.
[00:57:38] Speaker B: And we appreciate the boots on the ground out there. Like Granny said, behind enemy lines, keep doing what you're doing. It's awesome.
[00:57:43] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:57:44] Speaker D: Our t shirts say Pittsburgh Brownsbackers. And then I don't know if you can see it says, toughest place to wear your colors.
Nice.
[00:57:56] Speaker B: Is there a particular website or somewhere that folks could reach out and find your merchandise?
[00:58:03] Speaker D: Yeah, probably. We're not all that sophisticated, and we're getting new shirts, so there's not really much to sell right now. But you can always go to Pittsburghbrownsbackers.com. It gets redirected to another thing, but then you can get in contact with us and we'll get back to you. Right now, we're very low on our current two styles of T shirts, and we're currently in the process of getting another one, which should be awesome.
[00:58:29] Speaker B: Sounds good.
[00:58:30] Speaker C: We'll have to look into that once it comes in, for sure. So again, Paul, thank you so much.
[00:58:35] Speaker B: Appreciate the time.
[00:58:36] Speaker D: Yeah, thanks a lot, guys.
[00:58:37] Speaker C: Thanks.
[00:58:39] Speaker D: I'm Paul from the Pittsburgh Brownsbackers and you're listening to the Burning River sportscast.
Go Brown.
[00:58:52] Speaker B: Paul, that was a good interview.
[00:58:54] Speaker C: Yeah, that was fun.
It's got to be tough being behind enemy lines, especially in Pittsburgh.
[00:59:01] Speaker B: I feel for them. I mean, you think about last week, the guys we talked to out in South Euclid and how much they were able to do in the community.
[00:59:07] Speaker C: It's easy. You go out, you're like, we're Brownsbackers.
[00:59:09] Speaker B: But everybody's like, yeah, we love the Browns. We love the Browns.
[00:59:11] Speaker C: We're fantastic. I love the browns.
[00:59:13] Speaker B: Paul is out there just slinging it like the rest of the meth addicts.
[00:59:17] Speaker C: He's like, hey, you guys want to support the Brownsbackers? And they're like, fuck.
[00:59:20] Speaker B: Like, they would probably rather buy meth than hang out with Paul and his Brownsbackers.
[00:59:24] Speaker C: Wow.
Bad choice.
[00:59:26] Speaker B: Yenzers Yinzers. All right.
[00:59:27] Speaker C: But you know what? That takes us to.
[00:59:29] Speaker B: But real quick, I just wanted to go back.
[00:59:31] Speaker C: We're not there yet.
[00:59:32] Speaker B: That I am cordially and apologetically.
Very sorry to all of our friends in Pittsburgh because we do talk a lot of shit.
[00:59:43] Speaker C: You're excluded when we say all of.
[00:59:45] Speaker B: Pittsburgh except for Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh teams. We are not including Browns fans. Browns fans, yeah. The rest of you FM FM.
[00:59:54] Speaker C: You know what that takes us to?
[00:59:56] Speaker B: What does it take us to the Birmingham sports guys.
[01:00:03] Speaker C: So don't forget to call in. Leave your hot takes on the hot take. Hotline. Remember, these are hot takes.
[01:00:09] Speaker B: Hot takes.
[01:00:10] Speaker C: We want hot takes.

Yeah. So before we get into the week two preview, we are going to talk to another Cleveland Browns alum that will be going on the Browns Fan Cruise with us. You excited?
[01:02:58] Speaker B: I'm always excited.
[01:03:00] Speaker C: Nice.
[01:03:02] Speaker B: Powered by Riverside FM all right, so.
[01:03:06] Speaker C: Our next guest is born and raised in Ohio. Played college football in the state as well. In his seven seasons in the NFL, he amassed 125 total tackles, five and a half sacks, one force fumble, and two fumble recoveries. Boys, help me welcome Big John Hughes.
[01:03:25] Speaker D: John.
[01:03:28] Speaker C: All right, John, thanks for joining us. How are you, sir?
[01:03:31] Speaker E: I'm doing pretty good. How are you guys doing?
[01:03:34] Speaker C: Good. Now, before we get to some of the questions that we have for you, I do want to talk about one thing. You're going to be on the Browns Fan Cruise in March of 2024. It is confirmed you'll be there soaking in the sun and having a blast with the fellow alumni and fans alike. And now, I have to say, we are brought to you by the Browns Fan Cruise. We are the official podcast of the Browns Fan Cruise. We will be on the Browns Fan Cruise, and we will be MCing all of the events on the Browns Fan Cruise. And we can't wait to share that Browns Fan Cruise with a Cleveland Browns alumni like yourself. So can you tell our listeners a little bit about the Fan Cruise and what they have to look forward to?
[01:04:12] Speaker E: Yeah, man. I'm really excited about it. I guess seaside events and the Cleveland Browns are doing a cruise, man, the first ever Cleveland Browns cruise, man. Super excited about it. It's going to be amazing. Getting to hang out with old friends, meeting new friends and just setting sail. Man, I'm excited. It's actually my first cruise, by the way, so we'll see how that goes. But really excited about it.
[01:04:34] Speaker C: Me too, man. I'm a little nervous just because I don't know if I have my sea legs.
[01:04:38] Speaker B: Yeah, you get seasick, do you?
[01:04:41] Speaker E: You said, do I get seasick?
[01:04:43] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:04:44] Speaker E: No, I don't get seasick, but I haven't been on the boat that long either, so we'll see.
[01:04:48] Speaker B: Pack some extra dramamine.
[01:04:50] Speaker C: Yeah, that's what I'm going to be doing.
[01:04:51] Speaker B: I know that.
[01:04:52] Speaker C: No, but thank you. And I'm sure we're going to get back to Brown's fan cruise talk here in just a little bit. But for right now, I do want to talk about you. So as I mentioned during my introduction, you are born and raised in Ohio. Can you tell us a little bit about the town you're from?
[01:05:08] Speaker E: Yeah. So I'm from Gahan, Ohio. It's in Columbus. Smaller town or in Columbus. Great place, man. I went to school there from K through twelve. Man, Ohio. Born and raised.
[01:05:19] Speaker C: Nice. You mentioned that's near Columbus, you ended up going to Cincinnati for college, but during your time in Columbus, I bet it was pretty raucous with the Ohio State crowd, right?
[01:05:31] Speaker E: Yeah, it's funny, actually. I got a great story about when I went to Cincinnati, being from Columbus, and actually grew up a diehard Holla State fan. Right. So my first day at Cincinnati, or at Cincinnati, Haruki Nakamura, I don't know if you guys heard him, played for the safety, so he was the senior at Cincinnati that year. And I walked in with some holiday basketball shorts and he's like, hey, man, stop me in the front of the locker room. Hey, man, I'm going to need you to take those off. And I was like, oh, man, it's all good, right? Yeah. And then he's like, no, now you got to take those off. And then I was like 20 guys surrounded me. They're like, nah, man, take those off. So they literally made me flip my shorts inside out, run back to the dorm. First day of practice before I could come in the locker room. So that was my introduction to yeah.
[01:06:19] Speaker C: Yeah, don't wear that garbage around. No, we're big Ohio State fans, so I take that back immediately.
[01:06:24] Speaker B: Going to it. Was that something that was important to you, to stay close to home as you went to college?
[01:06:32] Speaker E: Yeah, most definitely. It was close enough where people could come visit, but not close enough where people could just pop up, you know what I mean? It was a couple of hours away.
Love being in Ohio, of course, for family and friends, but it was nice getting away a little bit too.
[01:06:45] Speaker C: That's a very nice way to put.
Now tell us a little bit about your time in.
[01:06:53] Speaker E: A great I was actually there four and a half years, red shirted.
I was Coach Kelly's. Brian Kelly's. First recruit at Cincinnati. We had a great run as a team when I was there. We won three biggies championships, went to two BCS bowls, and, yeah, we did our thing.
[01:07:11] Speaker C: Nice. And then from there, I know you were drafted by the Browns in 2012 and ended up playing for them from 2012 to 2016. So tell us a little bit about your time with the Cleveland Browns.
[01:07:24] Speaker E: Yeah, man, it was great, man. Everything that around Cleveland, the sports just kind of embodied that feeling of being in Cleveland. So as a Browns player, the fans made the experience that much more, you know what I mean?
Especially being from Ohio, man, I loved every second of it. But, yeah, being in Cleveland, man, it was great. I had a lot of great teammates along the way, had a lot of different coaches, unfortunately, but it was a great time, man. Just wish we could have won a little bit more.
[01:07:56] Speaker C: How many coaches did you have in your five years with the team?
[01:07:59] Speaker E: Do you really want to of was it three? So I had four head coaches in five, man.
[01:08:08] Speaker C: Right.
[01:08:08] Speaker E: So I started with Shermer had Chaczynski Pedden and then Ray chaczynski. Forgot about you.
[01:08:15] Speaker D: I'm sorry.
[01:08:16] Speaker B: So obviously a lot of head coach turnover in Cleveland, something that we're all very well accustomed to at this point.
Do you have any other thoughts just around why the team has struggled like it did? I mean, it's not like we haven't had talented players coming and out like yourself, but you could point to one thing that has caused or was challenging just in your time in Cleveland.
[01:08:44] Speaker E: It was really just having that full program camaraderie, if that makes sense. You know what I mean? So not just the players, but the coaches alike. Like I said, we had a lot of different coaches coming in and out, so it was hard to really understand and really get into the schemes that we had. So I had to learn a different scheme pretty much every year I was there. If you look at different programs that have the same coaches and same philosophies for years, those players are able to build in that program and they can advance a lot better in that program. So it's just a little bit different. But yeah.
[01:09:17] Speaker C: And one thing I do know from your career, your first sack that you recorded was against the Cincinnati Bengals in can you can you kind of take us through that play specifically? I'm sure you still remember it vividly. Was that an extra special moment for you, doing that in front of all the same people that watched you play in college?
[01:09:37] Speaker E: Oh, yeah, most definitely doing it in the Bengal Stadium where I've played at before playing for the Bearcats? It was amazing, man. I remember breaking through, having a clean run at Andy Dalton, and he took off to the right, and I'm chasing him down. I remember the linebacker afterwards, like, giving me depth, and then we're running back over afterwards, and he's like, man, that was my sack. I was like, man, you got to get there fast.
It was great.
[01:10:06] Speaker C: That's awesome.
I know you said there was some challenging times with all the turnover and everything else, but I mean, spending time with a franchise is obviously more than just playing football for them. You become involved with teammates, you become involved with the community off the field. Do you have a particular off field memory that kind of sticks out to you in Cleveland?
[01:10:31] Speaker E: I think the biggest one for me, I have a couple, obviously, but I would say it was the community outreach work that I was able to do in my time in Cleveland.
Every year while I was there, I would adopt two families for Christmas. And it was a really special moment just being able to share that with them and have that experience and memory with those families.
[01:10:56] Speaker C: Yeah, that's awesome. We actually do that. My sister does that every year. We do a family around here, around where we live, and she has a big Christmas party every year. There's like 100 and some people that come to it, and everybody contributes to these. And it isn't just one family. She has, like, a list of families that she adopts for the season. So it's a pretty cool thing to do. It's pretty awesome that you're able to do that every year.
[01:11:21] Speaker E: Oh, yeah, that's awesome. Appreciate it, man.
[01:11:24] Speaker C: So let's go ahead.
[01:11:26] Speaker B: I was going to ask, so obviously the trip to the NFL is a long, arduous journey.
Was there a point in your life that you realized, like, the NFL was a reality? Was there a coach, a mentor, parent, someone that kind of put that in your head that you had what it takes and kind of went along that journey? Was that for you?
[01:11:50] Speaker E: Yeah, that's a great question, man. So along the way, it's always a thought in every athlete's head. Growing up to play in the National Football League, I was that guy, that kid that dressed up as an NFL player for Halloween. You know what I mean? It was always on my number one list of goals, but it didn't come a reality. I would say until my junior year of college, we had a couple of guys that were highly touted coming out of college, and NFL scouts were coming to see them. And my coach was like, hey, pick it up, man. They're here to see you too. They've been asking about you. And that was like the first glimpse of, okay, I could really make it here.
[01:12:27] Speaker C: Awesome. I wish I would have heard that one time, but I never did for.
[01:12:31] Speaker E: Most of the game, that's for sure.
[01:12:35] Speaker C: I wasn't that good. The game outruns most of us, but yeah. So let's shift gears here just a little bit.
You spent a decent amount of time in the NFL. You're with several different teams, and kind of with that in mind and everything that you saw, all the turnover in Cleveland, as you mentioned, what advice do you have for current players, especially the younger guys, as they're kind of getting situated and getting started in their careers?
[01:13:00] Speaker E: I would say for those guys to always remember that it's a kids game. Right. I feel like as NFL players, you get kind of consumed with the magnitude of the game and how big it all is in the NFL and playing in front of these huge crowds. But you've been doing the same thing since you were a kid, playing in front of 15 people, in front of your parents. You know what I mean? So it's all about just remembering where you're at and what you're doing and also just loving the game, you know what I mean? It's a short time that you get to play this, and as you guys know, it's a small window. So being able to embrace that moment and live it in the moment.
[01:13:36] Speaker C: Yeah. And for people that don't play football, I don't think they realize if you've never played football, just about every person that has that I've talked to looks back at it as one of the best times in their entire life.
[01:13:47] Speaker B: So lifelong love. Oh, yeah. You can't replace that feeling.
[01:13:51] Speaker C: So no insight. Go ahead.
[01:13:54] Speaker E: Say one more quick thing about that advice, man. Also major in the minors, you know what I mean?
Everyone's strong and fast in the league, right? So it's about being good at the little things, right? So major in the minors. I consider myself a student of the game when I played. So it was about being the best block release, the best pursuit to the ball, like all the little things. I wanted to be the best at it.
[01:14:16] Speaker C: Yeah, that's another good piece of advice.
Like I said, great insight. Always fun to hear stories from former players, especially former Browns. But I do know that for most guys, they get this sort of second life after football, and they kind of get into their second career, if you will.
And that's not always something professional. It could be personal. Can you tell us what you're up to today and kind of what's going on in your life?
[01:14:43] Speaker E: Yeah, so I'm actually about three months away from graduating barber school. I'm going to be a barber. I actually own a barber studio in I opened it about four years ago, so I kind of did it backwards. Right. I got the shop first, and now I'm getting the license. But I'm really excited about it, man. I've always had a passion for cutting hair. It's always been a fun thing for me to do. I've been doing it since high school. Cool.
[01:15:07] Speaker C: Sometimes people take different routes, but as long as the destination is the same, you're all good.
[01:15:14] Speaker B: What was the initial draw towards that for you?
[01:15:20] Speaker E: It was going to the barbershop and kind of fall in love with the culture first. Right. So it was me going in the shop, like, hanging out, and it was a cool kind of atmosphere environment for me to be, and I was whatever. And then when I got older, I was in high school, I was like, oh, man, let me try to find the guy that needs the hair. You know, that guy that just always looks rough and never has a haircut? I'm like, if I can take him and make him look good, I'm going to have business. Right.
And that's how it all makes me look good.
But it started like that as a fun thing to do, then turned into a passion, man. I ended up cutting all my teammates in college, and yeah, it kind of snowballed from there.
[01:16:01] Speaker B: This has been something you've been interested in a while, then?
[01:16:04] Speaker E: Oh, yeah, most definitely. And then it's funny because the barbering industry has really taken off in the past, I'd say, like, ten years. So it's kind of cool for me to be at this point in it now that I'm here.
[01:16:17] Speaker C: Can we move your town closer to Cleveland? Because I'm in search of a new barber here soon.
[01:16:26] Speaker B: It does seem like barber shops in general has become more about the experience.
A lot of places have, like, a flat screen TVs and just different some of bars and things.
Is that kind of how your place is set up now?
[01:16:43] Speaker E: Not so much. It's really geared on the experience, though. So we're like a family oriented shop that's big on the customer experience. Right. Making sure you have a great experience from A to Z, right. From the very beginning when you book till the end when you're writing your great. Right.
[01:17:00] Speaker B: So awesome.
[01:17:02] Speaker C: Yeah, that's that's really you know, I've heard that you're soon to have I think it's your third child. Is that correct? I know Kenny and I are recent new dad, so you want to shout out anybody?
[01:17:20] Speaker E: Yeah, shout out my beautiful wife for having our third baby. Man, I'm extremely excited. Little boy. So we'll see.
[01:17:28] Speaker B: Congrats.
[01:17:29] Speaker C: All right, so what are you up to? You got a boy? Do you have more boys, or is.
[01:17:32] Speaker E: It yes, I have a nine year old boy, two year old daughter, and then I have my newborn boy.
[01:17:38] Speaker C: Very nice. Congratulations, by the way.
[01:17:41] Speaker B: I would just say that you're an incredibly tough man, which we know that you're Big John Hughes. But I'm pulling my hair out already, and we're only two months in, so congrats to you.
[01:17:54] Speaker E: It's a process you got to lean.
[01:17:56] Speaker C: Into, I got to tell you. I think we're probably all in agreement that the first six months is probably the toughest, and then after that, it gets a little bit easier.
[01:18:07] Speaker E: Oh, yeah, most definitely agree with that. The first six, man, you got to figure it out.
[01:18:13] Speaker C: So one more thing here. Are you still involved with the game at all?
[01:18:19] Speaker E: Not so much as I was. I was coaching the first two years when I retired at my high school at Lincoln, and after that, I kind of took a step back from football just to be a dad, be a family man and raise my.
[01:18:37] Speaker C: Know. I think for a lot of people, that's actually the best thing you could possibly do. There's nothing more important in a child's life than to have their parent there for them.
That's a great thing for you to do. And then kind of changing gears here. I just want to get back a little bit to the time that we're all going to get to share on the open ocean, a couple of amazing stops along the way in March of 2024. So let's talk about some of the things that everyone should look forward to on the inaugural Browns fan cruise here. So first of all, what is the event or activity that you yourself are most looking forward to?
[01:19:18] Speaker E: Man, I can't say it's a specific activity or event. I'm really excited to meet all the new people and really get to hang out with my teammates again. You know what I mean? Like, I'm ready for a good time on the boat, man.
So I saw a couple other destinations, man. I'm excited about the Bahamas. Never been heard. A lot of great things and pretty excited to experience it for myself.
[01:19:39] Speaker C: Yeah, I know.
The Bahamas and Jamaica are the two.
[01:19:44] Speaker B: I'm a big fan.
[01:19:46] Speaker C: Yeah. And I'm a big fan of beaches in general, but I'm also pretty clear, and I'm probably going to get really burnt. So that's the part that I'm not looking forward to.
But what event or activity do you think that the fans should be most excited about?
[01:20:02] Speaker E: So the signings are going to be great, man. I know the guys are going to be excited to hang out with everyone and sign autographs and just the meet and greet. There's always that rope in between us and the fans. So we get to hang out and really get to know each other.
[01:20:19] Speaker C: Yeah, for sure. And, yeah, like you said, instead of that rope blocking everybody off, they'll be able to get right in there, shake your hand, say hi, those types of things, and show their true appreciation for everything you did as a Cleveland Brown.
But I also know that there is a competition for the Browns backers organizations out there. So let me just go over some of the things that the winning chapter will get. The chapter with most bookings will get an all expenses paid balcony cabin for two on the browns Fan Cruise. The chapter with the highest members to bookings ratio also gets an all expenses paid ocean view cabin for two. All members of the winning chapter will receive a specialty dining pass for two guests, and all members of the winning chapter will receive a Browns Fan Cruise commemorative Cleveland Browns autographed football. So with that in mind and all these Brownsbackers groups fighting for who's going to be the best and who's going to have the most bookings, do you have anything you want to say to Brownsbackers across the nation and across the world for that matter, specifically?
[01:21:19] Speaker E: Yeah, Brownsbacker chapters, man, I love everything you guys do, man. I remember going to all the different appearances throughout my career, man, and how excited you guys were, man. You guys do an amazing job and this is an event you don't want to miss. This cruise is going to be amazing, and it's the first one you have a chance to be a part of history, man. You know what I mean? It's a big deal, man. I'm excited about it. This would be a great time.
[01:21:43] Speaker C: Absolutely. And with that, do you have any final words for the rest of Brown's Nation?
[01:21:49] Speaker E: Just here we go, Brownies. Here we go, Brownies. Here we go.
[01:21:57] Speaker B: Love it.
[01:21:58] Speaker C: That's what I like to hear.
And I guess final question here, Kenny.
[01:22:03] Speaker B: Yeah. Just obviously we're at the start of the season here. Do you have any thoughts, expectations for this Browns team, man?
[01:22:11] Speaker E: I expect us to get this AFC North, man. I'm excited about what this team is bringing to the table, and I feel like that's the first standard you got to set is winning your conference, man. So I feel like we're going to do it, man. And I'm expecting biggest things from this team this year.
[01:22:23] Speaker B: Hell yes.
[01:22:25] Speaker C: If we win the AFC North, this is going to be one hell of a Browns cruise, let me tell you.
[01:22:30] Speaker B: And if we don't, it's still going to be one hell of a Browns cruise.
[01:22:32] Speaker C: Yeah, it's going to be good. No matter what.
[01:22:38] Speaker E: I was going to say my wife's Bengals fan, unfortunately, so it'll be a great time for me and my household.
[01:22:46] Speaker B: John, what are we going to do about that? How come you haven't converted her yet?
[01:22:49] Speaker E: Yeah, it's tough, man. Her dad's a Browns or Bengals fan, so it's one of those things, man.
[01:22:55] Speaker C: 08:28 P.m.
Siri's, talking in our headphones here, but that's okay. No, we really appreciate you joining us, John. It's been a pleasure. We've had such a great time and we really can't wait to see you on the Cleveland Browns fan cruise.
[01:23:12] Speaker E: Hey, I appreciate you guys having me on, man. I had a great time, too. Thanks.
[01:23:16] Speaker C: Thank you.
[01:23:17] Speaker B: Big John Hughes.
[01:23:19] Speaker E: I'm John Hughes, and you're listening to Burning River Sportscast. Go brown.
[01:23:28] Speaker C: Man Big John Hughes, huh?
[01:23:30] Speaker B: Big John Hughes, huh?
[01:23:31] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:23:33] Speaker B: Big Glops, huh?
[01:23:34] Speaker C: Yeah. No, it's great talking to John Hughes. That was fantastic, man. Probably my favorite part about what we do is talking to Alum. Maybe the browns back. It's probably the Alum sponsor chicks. Yeah, that too. We get paid.
[01:23:49] Speaker B: Look, John Hughes is big. He is. Big john Hughes is a rock star. John Hughes coming on the Cleveland Browns fan cruise. You should, too.
[01:24:00] Speaker C: Big John Hughes is not as big as he once was, but he's as big once as he ever was.
[01:24:04] Speaker B: Big John Hughes rhymes with Cleveland Browns fan Cruise.
[01:24:07] Speaker C: That's true. Come and meet Big John Hughes on the Cleveland Browns fan cruise.
[01:24:11] Speaker B: I am basically Eminem lately.
[01:24:13] Speaker C: Yeah. All right, so that takes us to the week two preview.
Guys, it's here. We've got the Steelers this week.
[01:24:25] Speaker B: The football season is here. And it feels different.
[01:24:27] Speaker C: It does feel different. And there's another division matchup already. Two weeks. Two division matchups. There's another one coming two weeks from now. So three of the first four weeks are division.
[01:24:36] Speaker B: Yeah. Oh, yeah.
[01:24:36] Speaker C: This is great. It's fantastic.
[01:24:38] Speaker B: So excited.
[01:24:39] Speaker C: All right. So, Kenny, do you have any matchup previews or opposition research or am I just going to get into some of this stuff here that I have?
[01:24:45] Speaker B: Here's the thing. Kenny Pickett sucks.
[01:24:48] Speaker C: That's fair. He's old. Two Gloves McGee over there needs to he's really bad.
[01:24:54] Speaker B: Pittsburgh fans are kidding themselves if they think he's any good.
Najee Harris is a poor man's.
[01:25:05] Speaker C: Really got bone going over there.
[01:25:07] Speaker B: George Pickens is the only bright spot on that team.
[01:25:11] Speaker E: Yeah.
[01:25:11] Speaker B: Their defense is okay. He's a receiver. He can only do so much. Yeah. I mean, if you have a quarterback that's as ass as Kenny Pickens look, this team is just absolute trash. Wow. I think this is going to be the year of Mike Tomlin's first losing record with a team.
[01:25:26] Speaker C: And then they'll probably fire him like a bunch of idiots. Much easier for us going forward.
[01:25:30] Speaker B: Yeah. And then we can hire him. It'll be guess, but yeah, they're going to have a losing record this year. All starts with the quarterback because he's bad. There's nothing else really redeeming on their roster except for a mediocre defense.
To me, I just think this is a matter of whether or not the Browns play up or down to their competition. I think they showed in week one that they're plenty good enough to beat this Pittsburgh Steelers team. That is not very good. So if this game is close or this game is in trouble or they lose, then they let this one get away from them and they have no one to blame it themselves.
[01:26:01] Speaker C: Yeah, I'd agree with that. So with that, let's go ahead and I do have a couple position matchups that I want to highlight here. First off is the Browns O line versus the Steelers D line. Here's the reason I highlight this. TJ watt is a problem in our O line. In order for us. To keep pushing along and stay efficient. They got to keep Watson clean and they got to pave the way for Nick Chubb. And if TJ Watts back there fucking shit up, that's going to be tough.
[01:26:28] Speaker B: Wow.
I know it's not the injury report.
[01:26:31] Speaker C: Yet, but we're not there yet. What are you doing?
[01:26:33] Speaker B: But this is important because that's true.
[01:26:34] Speaker C: It is.
[01:26:35] Speaker B: Along with your position matchup, which is Brown's offensive line versus Steelers defensive line. Browns lost Conklin for essentially the year with the torn ACL. And Kim Hayward is now also out for several weeks with, I think, a groin strain.
Two of the best players on either one of those lines is now missing in action this week.
[01:26:57] Speaker C: True. I mean, it's a positive for us on the Cam Hayward front, but Duan Jones is going to be stepping in for I love you. Some duan jones for conklin. So it's pretty cool that this early in the season we get to see the rookie and what he's made of. So next up on matchups I got the Browns. We're going to flip it to the other side. I got the Browns defensive line versus the Steelers offensive line. And just because the Browns defensive line needs to continue to feast, needs to continue putting the pressure on, if we get after Kenny Pickets, he's going to throw lots of pickets.
[01:27:31] Speaker B: He's going to throw so many pickets.
[01:27:33] Speaker C: So it's going to be a battle in the trenches. And whoever comes out on top, I think, wins this game fairly easily. And I think it's going to be the Browns. But we're not there yet. So as a team, the Steelers, they have an O and one record. We're still early in the season. They are coming off a terrible loss to the 49 Ers where the entire team looked listless and pretty much like shit. So all of Schittsburg's hopes and dreams are looking bleak now as they come back to earth with their Kenny Pickett optimism. Or don't. They still might think he's the second coming, but the Browns are the better team and they should win this game.
[01:28:03] Speaker B: Did you call him the 49 Ers? Like the horny niners.
Like forny I don't think I did.
[01:28:10] Speaker C: But maybe I did.
[01:28:10] Speaker B: 49 Er 69 er.
[01:28:12] Speaker C: Yeah, maybe. But that takes us to the injury report.
[01:28:15] Speaker B: Oh, let's do this again.
Pause for sound effect. No, we don't need to. Cam Hayward.
[01:28:20] Speaker C: You've got to at techmobile. It takes us to the injury report.
Tech mobile sounders so good.
[01:28:30] Speaker B: Browns lose Jack Hockland for the year with an ACL. Steelers lose Cam Hayward for up to several weeks with a groin injury.
[01:28:37] Speaker C: I'm glad you already did the injury report before we got there. I tried to stop you, but you didn't.
[01:28:43] Speaker B: Literally, there was nobody else really listed right now. I mean, this is Juan Thornhill missed last week. Juan Thornhill missed, but he's supposed to be back this week.
[01:28:51] Speaker C: Cedric Will's got x rays for some reason and nobody knows why, but maybe he's okay.
[01:28:55] Speaker B: If they x rayed his brain, hopefully they found it inside.
[01:29:00] Speaker C: Hopefully he has a brain.
[01:29:02] Speaker B: He still is the worst part of that offensive turn style. Turn style.
[01:29:06] Speaker C: All right, so next up here, Kenny. Do you have a player to watch in this game?
[01:29:10] Speaker B: You ever been to the subway in New York City?
[01:29:12] Speaker C: No, I've never been to New York City.
[01:29:14] Speaker B: Like the toll booth thing to go on the subway.
[01:29:16] Speaker C: I've done that in Chicago.
[01:29:17] Speaker B: Gentrick Wills is not even the turnstile. He's just the guy that sits in front of the turnstile and watches you scan your ticket and he just turns the gate open. He's just like, here you go.
[01:29:27] Speaker C: Come on.
[01:29:28] Speaker B: Not even going to stand in the way.
[01:29:29] Speaker C: Come on. Right over here. Take a seat. Take a seat. So who is your player to watch?
[01:29:33] Speaker B: Oh, God.
Look, I think my player to watch for this week against the Pittsburgh Steelers is I wish I could pick someone different. It's just know, I'm hoping for better weather, especially early in the season, because I just need to see him play well at some point. Um, I wish I could pick anyone else right now, but the offense was just so lackluster in week one. And I think, again, there were a thousand reasons why that game kind of went the way it did. I know Nick Chubb is going to show up and show out. Deshaun, though, needs to improve over what he did in week one to, I think, alleviate any remaining anxiety for Browns fans that we may have question marks at the quarterback position.
[01:30:25] Speaker C: I text you during a game, I said, everybody's going to blame the rain on Know for the lackluster performance in week one. And I even told you, I said I'll probably be one of them. Well, I'm going to say I chalk it up to the rain just because of how bad both quarterbacks looked in that game. And I know Burrow is dealing with an injury, but I think the rain came down a lot harder than anyone expected. And I think even down to equipment, guys weren't ready for it.
[01:30:49] Speaker B: It was apparently a monsoon.
[01:30:51] Speaker C: Yeah. So, Bone man, who's your player to watch this week?
[01:30:55] Speaker F: All right, so I had so much disdain for Cade York that I immediately fell in love with Dustin Hopkins.
[01:31:03] Speaker B: You did.
[01:31:03] Speaker C: You called him the truth the last time you were on.
[01:31:06] Speaker F: He just took all my anxiety away this past week and I want a repeat.
[01:31:11] Speaker C: So you're Dustin Hopkins?
[01:31:14] Speaker B: Yes. Hell yes.
[01:31:15] Speaker C: I like that. Going hard on the kicker.
[01:31:17] Speaker F: It wins and loses.
[01:31:18] Speaker C: Bone Man's getting hard for the kicker and going hard on the kicker.
[01:31:22] Speaker B: Bone doesn't watch the rest of the game. He's just like, call me when it's.
[01:31:25] Speaker C: Time for an extra in.
Go ahead, Bone.
[01:31:30] Speaker F: No. Every kick he made this past weekend was dead nut center.
[01:31:35] Speaker C: Dead nut center.
[01:31:37] Speaker F: Even if Kid York made a field.
[01:31:39] Speaker B: Goal, it was like almost hit the.
[01:31:41] Speaker F: Pole to the left every time. And it was just nice.
[01:31:45] Speaker B: You ain't lying.
[01:31:46] Speaker C: You were definitely on the edge of your seat watching Cade York kick. For me, the player to watch is Dewan Jones. I mentioned it a little bit earlier. He is going to get the start for Jack Conklin, and he will be lining across from TJ Watt the entire game. That's a really tough matchup for a rookie. So if there's any way for the Steelers to pull out a victory in this one, I think it's because TJ Watt causes a ton of problems against Duan Jones. But Duan Jones is big thanos, so he's going to stop him. He's going to surprise everybody, and he's going to cement his place as the new starting right tackle even when Conklin comes back. And that'll be somebody that probably moves in the offseason.
[01:32:24] Speaker B: Yeah, I mean, I can't imagine Conklin coming back at this point. Look, I like Jack Conklin. I think he's done a ton of good here.
I wish him all the best. He was certainly a centerpiece of that line for as long as he's been here, but he hasn't been able to stay healthy last couple of years. And let's hope we caught lightning in a bottle with Duan Jones. I mean, he's a big, big dude, and I'm excited to watch and see what he does.
[01:32:47] Speaker C: Lightning in a bottle.
All right. Do you know what it's time for? Dawan Jones? Well, yeah, but do you know? Do you know? This is big.
It's time for King of the north.
[01:33:04] Speaker B: King of the north.
This is the best sounder in the yeah, so good.
[01:33:13] Speaker C: All right, so King of the north is off to a fantastic start this year. I just want to remind everybody that I won King of the north last year. I am the King of the north.
[01:33:23] Speaker B: Thomas Shelby.
[01:33:24] Speaker C: I'm the king of the north.
And Kenny really is really, really bad at picking AFC North games. Probably the worst I've ever seen.
[01:33:33] Speaker B: Wow.
[01:33:33] Speaker C: Pretty much trash.
And he's off to last place this season already, so that's always exciting. Bone man's keeping pace with me at three. And what can I say? I'm undefeated. I really get at this.
[01:33:46] Speaker B: You're going down this week, sucker.
[01:33:48] Speaker C: Okay, so without further ado, let's go ahead and get into this week's games in the AFC North. There's only two of them because we all play each other. So first up we got Baltimore at Cincinnati. Kenny, who do you got?
[01:34:03] Speaker B: Look, I think there's some serious concern still around Joe Burrow's ankle. I don't think there'll be a monsoon again this week, but I still don't think he's 100%.
And I think like we've talked about before, cincinnati is just not that good of a football team without Joe Burrow.
So I think until he proves that he's better on the field. I think they're going to have a rough start to this season.
[01:34:25] Speaker C: They have started slow the last couple.
[01:34:27] Speaker B: Of seasons, despite the fact that Baltimore lost JK. Dobbins for the year, which is a huge loss again for them.
I think that just puts more pressure on Lamar and he doesn't have to try and spread the ball around and be a balance. It's just going to be on him to win games. And I think that's when he's at his best, as evidenced by every time he's played us and he poops his pants during the game and comes back later and beats us.
[01:34:51] Speaker C: Lamar Jackson. Best stories ever. Not for us, but for Baltimore. Well, I shipped my pants and then I still came back and beat the Browns.
[01:34:58] Speaker B: I'm calling Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens to beat Cincinnati. This wow.
[01:35:01] Speaker C: Okay. And bone, man. Who do you got?
[01:35:03] Speaker F: I got Baltimore as well.
Yeah, I was going to say something similar to Kenny. Just with Lamar. I think he's going to shit on Cincinnati.
[01:35:12] Speaker C: Oh, wow. He's actually instead of shitting his pants, he's going to shit on Cincinnati. Got it.
[01:35:18] Speaker B: Skyline chili, baby.
[01:35:20] Speaker C: Yep. And I'm going to go against the grain of everybody else on the show here, and I'm going to pick Cincinnati. I think Joe Burrow bounces back. I think he has another week to heal up. And I think we're going to see the Joe Burrow that we're used to. I like Cincinnati in this one. I don't think Baltimore is as good as everyone's saying they are. I think Lamar Jackson, it's a ticking time bomb. He's going to be hurt any day now.
Yeah, I got Cincinnati.
[01:35:45] Speaker B: How about just on Sunday?
You had Joe Burrow in his $275,000,000 contract, deshaun Watson and his $230,000,000 contract on the field at the same time, and they passed for like less than 250 yards.
[01:35:58] Speaker C: Incredible.
I will say. So I mentioned it a couple of shows back, and I just want to point this out as you do because it's fair, it's warranted. You give the Browns some shit anytime. Deshaun Watson doesn't do what he's supposed to do because he's $230,000,000 fully guaranteed quarterback. I get it. Fully warranted. But he is now the third highest paid quarterback in the division.
[01:36:20] Speaker B: He's still the number one highest paid guaranteed contract money quarterback in the NFL.
[01:36:24] Speaker C: That's fine. But he's the third highest paid quarterback in the division.
[01:36:28] Speaker B: Joe Burrow is only guaranteed $215,000,000 out of that contract.
A guy that's been to the Super Bowl.
[01:36:34] Speaker C: Yeah, but I'm just saying he's been.
[01:36:36] Speaker B: To the promised land.
[01:36:37] Speaker C: Third highest paid quarterback in the division.
[01:36:38] Speaker B: He's been to the promised land.
[01:36:40] Speaker C: Next up, we got he's seen the.
[01:36:41] Speaker B: Mountaintop and it is good.
[01:36:44] Speaker C: He just wants to get back.
[01:36:45] Speaker F: I have seen the top of the Mountain, and it is good.
[01:36:48] Speaker C: Nice bone man with the sounder.
[01:36:51] Speaker B: He knows.
[01:36:52] Speaker C: So next up, we obviously have Cleveland at pittsburgh.
We'll start with Bone Man. Bone man, who do you got?
[01:37:00] Speaker B: I got the dogs.
[01:37:01] Speaker F: Cleveland's winning it.
[01:37:02] Speaker C: I got the dogs.
[01:37:04] Speaker B: All right, Zach's, like, on the back of ten, dustin Hopkins field goals.
[01:37:09] Speaker C: Yeah. Speaking of which, what is your score prediction? Because this kind of tells me how many field goals that you think Dustin Hopkins will make. 20 to 1020 to ten. So you've got him with two field goals.
[01:37:23] Speaker B: I like it.
[01:37:25] Speaker C: All right, so 20 to ten there.
Kenny, who do you got?
[01:37:29] Speaker B: Hey, look, here's me here's the Pessimistic Browns fan, right?
The Browns haven't given me a reason yet to not like them in a game, so I will pick the Browns this week for the Dub. I do think this is going to be a big offensive game. Again, hoping the weather cooperates, but I think hopefully Deshaun can get some of those longer throws out. We can see some of that new offense mixed in with a little Nick chubb to balance things out. I got a chubby right now, and I think Cleveland wins this one big. Because Pittsburgh is so bad.
I'm going to go 33 to seven.
[01:38:12] Speaker C: Whoa. Nice. I hope that's what they win. I have Cleveland as well. I'm not going to delay this at all. I have Cleveland and I have them 20 717. So not quite as big of a margin of victory as Kenny, but, yeah, I think they win pretty easily. I think probably that last score for the Steelers is garbage time. So we all got Cleveland winning. I'm the only one that picked Cincinnati in the other game, so we'll see how that all shakes out.
[01:38:36] Speaker B: You're going down, sucker.
[01:38:38] Speaker C: And that takes us to for the Land.
[01:38:42] Speaker B: Are we still doing this segment?
Just relax.
[01:38:47] Speaker C: All right. The Cleveland Guardians are still not good. 68 and 76. They're nearing elimination.
Yeah, that's all I have to say about them. The Cleveland Cavaliers, on the other hand, have no news whatsoever yet because the season hasn't started. Except for they did have one thing. Tristan Thompson is returning as a Cleveland Cavalier, which is pretty cool.
[01:39:05] Speaker B: Great.
[01:39:06] Speaker C: But they don't start till the end of October. That's when the season, you know, no news other than the Cleveland Guardians are not very good. But it's not all bad. With the Guardians being out of it and the Cavs a bit away from starting the season, we can focus pretty much all of our energy on the Cleveland Browns. So with that being said, we will probably drop this segment until the Cavs start playing basketball.
[01:39:27] Speaker B: How many half kardashians does Tristan Thompson have now?
[01:39:30] Speaker C: At least one.
[01:39:31] Speaker B: At least one, maybe two. Didn't he impregnate her again just to impregnate her?
[01:39:35] Speaker C: Impregnated. Such like a dirty sounding word. Like, I impregnated.
[01:39:38] Speaker B: You.
[01:39:42] Speaker C: All impregnated somebody.
[01:39:44] Speaker B: It's a weird thing to congratulate someone for being pregnant.
[01:39:47] Speaker C: Congratulations. You're good at having sex.
[01:39:49] Speaker B: You impregnated her.
[01:39:50] Speaker C: Yeah. Good job. Way to have viable swimmers.

[01:42:04] Speaker B: Did you guys watch all that growing up?
[01:42:06] Speaker C: Yes.
[01:42:07] Speaker B: I've been trying to find this.
[01:42:09] Speaker C: I got my ducky in the tub.
[01:42:11] Speaker B: Yeah, but Keenan also, I swear, and maybe I just have my shows mixed. Swear. I swear. He played a segment called Just the Facts, man, and he came out with a fax machine, and it would say Dumb Facts, but I can't find it anywhere, so I must have imagined it. Or it's a different show.
[01:42:30] Speaker C: Is it one of those Mandela Effect? It could be like you were imagining him, but it was really somebody else or nobody at all.
[01:42:37] Speaker B: Maybe my own Mandela Effect. It was like, who played Shazam Shaq?
Don't even get me started on this wormhole.
[01:42:46] Speaker F: I feel like that was a little skit he did.
[01:42:48] Speaker B: But wasn't it?
[01:42:49] Speaker F: I don't know where it's from. Is it from Keenan and that did.
[01:42:52] Speaker C: They do no, Keenan and Kel was.
[01:42:54] Speaker B: More of a all that was just, like, skits, though. So I swear it was I think.
[01:42:57] Speaker C: It would have been all that.
[01:42:59] Speaker B: It's possible. It might have been like the Amanda Bynes show. Sure, but I just think of Mary Beth.
[01:43:03] Speaker C: Did Mary Beth do it?
[01:43:04] Speaker B: No, Mary Beth did not do. It was Keenan. He was like, just the facts. Just the facts, man.
And he carried I can see it. He's carrying a suit and tie.
[01:43:13] Speaker F: He's carrying he's dressed up like a nerd.
[01:43:16] Speaker D: Yeah.
[01:43:17] Speaker B: I got a pocket protector if anybody can find that. Point me to it, please.
[01:43:22] Speaker C: If you have a pocket protector, you're a nerd, by the way, because that.
[01:43:25] Speaker B: Would be the best lead into Facts for Days, outside of our sounder. So anyway, without further ado, Facts for Days is underways.
I am just so hot on my.
[01:43:35] Speaker C: Verbiage lately on my rhyme preschool level, but I accept. What? You're the one last week was not no, ramaswami.
[01:43:44] Speaker B: You think of one other thing that you can rhyme with ramaswamy. Do it now. Can't do it, can you?
[01:43:49] Speaker C: Nope.
[01:43:49] Speaker B: Vote Ramaswamy, by the way. He's a pretty cool dude anyway. I don't know.
[01:43:53] Speaker C: We got political here.
[01:43:55] Speaker B: I just like his teeth.
Facts for days.
Have you ever seen an old photograph?
[01:44:03] Speaker C: Yeah, why?
[01:44:04] Speaker B: You ever notice it in old photographs, no one is smiling?
[01:44:08] Speaker C: No, I know why.
Because they had to stay still for the camera and you couldn't smile.
[01:44:18] Speaker B: That is part of the lore.
[01:44:20] Speaker C: What else is that?
[01:44:22] Speaker B: In the 1840s, it was considered childish to smile for pictures, so it became popular for people to say prunes instead of cheese in order to keep their mouth taut. Prunes, prunes, prunes, prunes. That's the look right there. That's how every old picture looks.
[01:44:43] Speaker C: And I got this old tiny hat.
Hopefully you can see that on the green screen.
[01:44:47] Speaker B: Number two. Before we had toilet paper.
[01:44:51] Speaker C: That was a bad time.
[01:44:52] Speaker B: This was a bad time. You know what year toilet paper was invented, by the way?
[01:44:55] Speaker C: In like, the 1920s bone.
[01:44:57] Speaker B: You're the history major.
[01:44:59] Speaker F: 1860.
[01:45:01] Speaker B: God, 1857. Bone is just all over it. What a fantastic so it begs the question, up until 1857, what, if anything, did you use to wipe your ass?
[01:45:14] Speaker C: I don't know. Kenny, can you tell us?
[01:45:16] Speaker B: I can. Most people used corn cups.
[01:45:23] Speaker F: I've heard this before.
[01:45:25] Speaker C: Is it because it was ridged for your pleasure?
[01:45:28] Speaker B: I don't know. But by the 18 hundreds, paper was becoming more widely available. And so finally, in 1857, a New Yorker named Joseph Gaity introduced and patented the first toilet paper. He called it Medicated Paper for the Water Closet, and his name was printed on every sheet. But before then, you used a corn cob.
[01:45:49] Speaker C: Corn cob, incredible. That sounds like it would hurt.
[01:45:53] Speaker B: I think I'm going to start keeping a corn cob in my bathroom for guests.
[01:45:56] Speaker F: Sounds dangerous.
[01:45:56] Speaker B: Once the house is finally remodeled.
[01:45:58] Speaker C: Yeah, we don't use toilet paper in this house. We only use corn cob with green.
[01:46:02] Speaker B: Here. We're very green.
And then finally, hashtag corn cob.
Does anyone know the real name?
[01:46:12] Speaker D: For a hashtag we grew up with.
[01:46:13] Speaker B: It being called a pound sign.
[01:46:18] Speaker C: No, it's a pound sign.
[01:46:20] Speaker B: It's a pound sign. It's not a pound sign or a hashtag.
[01:46:23] Speaker C: It's an octhorpe. Oh, an octothorpe. I did know that.
But if it was a multiple choice, I probably would have got it.
[01:46:30] Speaker B: So next time you're on X, formerly known as Twitter, go ahead and octothorpe the shit out of your posts.
[01:46:37] Speaker C: Everything. Octothorpe. Corn cob.
[01:46:41] Speaker B: Octorb corn cob. And as always, don't just settle for being a part of the problem. Be the whole damn problem.
[01:46:49] Speaker C: And only you can prevent river fires.
Octothorpe. Corn cob.
[01:46:57] Speaker B: Octothorpe.
[01:46:57] Speaker C: Corn cob. Octothorpe burning of our sports cast.
[01:47:00] Speaker B: Can you imagine? They just had, like, a basket full of corn cobs.
[01:47:02] Speaker C: I liked facts for days today. It was a little more relaxed than usual. Usually you get pretty crazy.
[01:47:08] Speaker F: You don't think dry them out.
[01:47:09] Speaker B: You don't think putting corn cobs in your butt is crazy?
[01:47:11] Speaker C: I said it was ridged for your pleasure.
[01:47:13] Speaker B: They're ribbed, not ridged.
[01:47:16] Speaker C: Yeah, but corn cobs are ridged.
[01:47:17] Speaker B: Does not sound pleasurable. Speak for your ribbed is one thing.
[01:47:22] Speaker F: This was corn cobs that you've already eaten all the cord off it.
[01:47:25] Speaker C: Right?
[01:47:26] Speaker F: That is a corn cob.
[01:47:27] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:47:27] Speaker C: How do you know? Like, if you get corn coming out, how do you know whether it was.
[01:47:32] Speaker B: From the corn cob or from you?
[01:47:34] Speaker C: How do you know? Burning river sports gas.
Burning river we talk about burning river. Burning river sports gas.
[01:47:42] Speaker F: I got bigger pieces of corn in my crap.
[01:47:47] Speaker B: Until next week, friends, browns fan cruise.
[01:47:51] Speaker E: And the Burning River sports cast. What better combination could you possibly think of?
[01:47:55] Speaker C: Motorboat.
[01:47:55] Speaker B: You play the motorboat, you motorboat son of a bitch.
[01:48:00] Speaker C: You old sailor. You and everybody should be 69.
It doesn't matter what you think.
[01:48:08] Speaker B: Wow.
[01:48:08] Speaker E: It rubs the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again.
[01:48:13] Speaker C: By the way, I want my foreskin back.
[01:48:16] Speaker B: We all do. What is this a center for?
[01:48:25] Speaker C: What do you mean, funny? Funny?
[01:48:27] Speaker B: How am I funny?
[01:48:28] Speaker F: I have seen the top of the.
[01:48:29] Speaker C: Mountain, and it is good erroneous.
[01:48:32] Speaker B: Erroneous on both counts.
[01:48:34] Speaker C: Maybe he's okay.
[01:48:35] Speaker B: If they x rayed his brain, hopefully they found it inside.
What an idiot. Oh, what a loser.
[01:48:46] Speaker C: But damn.
[01:48:47] Speaker B: You know why, Mr? Because you drove a Hyundai to get here tonight. I drove an $80,000 BMW.
[01:48:53] Speaker C: That's my name.
[01:48:57] Speaker B: Ralph, I don't know where you're getting your statistics. Where's logo girl when you need her?
[01:49:02] Speaker C: I desperately want to make love to a schoolboy.
[01:49:04] Speaker B: Down, Joe Sanderson. Down goes Anderson.
[01:49:09] Speaker C: No way. You just straight finger banged their salad.
[01:49:15] Speaker F: You first get shocked, and then you get the shocker.
